I have a 2446 helmet that is very obviously metallic silver. Not flat silver
or pearl light gray, I know the difference. But I don't see this in the catalog
anywhere? It appears to be genuine LEGO based on the inside stud hole and numbering
(just a single number "6").

Anyone have any ideas where it came from? Or is it not LEGO? Thanks.

It's drum lacquered, not a molded color?

Here's a picture next to a metallic silver droid. Same finish. And the internal
molding looks like genuine LEGO.
