Part No: bb0037b Name: Train Brick 2 x 4 x 1 1/3 Sliding Block with Wheels Holder, Type b with Ledge
*
bb0037b Train Brick 2 x 4 x 1 1/3 Sliding Block with Wheels Holder, Type b with Ledge
Parts: Train
Seems correct for the wheel holder (once I removed the wheels).

And we have the base and the motor from the same set.

Set No: 727 Name: 12V Locomotive
*
727-1 (Inv) 12V Locomotive
126 Parts, 1977
Sets: Train: 12V
However, the inventory has this item

Part No: bb0053b Name: Electric, Train 12V Brick 2 x 4 with Power Pickups for Motor and Cross-cut Pins
*
bb0053b Electric, Train 12V Brick 2 x 4 with Power Pickups for Motor and Cross-cut Pins
Parts: Electric, Train
and the part we have is close. It has holes where the pins are supposed to be,
and the back looks like a tile. The image of the part in the inventory and
it's related parts all look to have the back of the pin showing through.
The ones we have look like it has a molded lid, but it doesn't pop out.

[p=bb0035b] seems to be almost correct.

Could it be Part bb0037b Train Brick 2 x 4 x 1 1/3 Sliding Block with Wheels
Holder, Type b with Ledge?
