| I need to say thank you to the AFOL couple who sold us about 180 lbs of Lego
for a donation to charity. I wanted you to to know that we chose UNICEF. We’re
new in town, and my older child is just starting to make friends. This has been
a welcome break from the loneliness. I’m sure we’re such novices that we don’t
really understand what’s in there, but we are loving all of it. The 90s Belville
horses, the matching buses, half-built set corpses that my kid thinks are complete,
all of it. My older son is carrying around four enormous wheels, intent on building
a robot. He’s loved the prebuilt vehicles to bits and pieces, then asked me to
resurrect them over and over. You’ve made a difficult transition so much better
for our family. Many, many thanks.

| 180 lbs!
I've been buying unsorted LEGO bins off Craigslist to restore the sets that
went into them, and I've recently hit my personal limit with the last bin
containing "only" 25 lbs.
So I'm feeling overwhelmed just thinking about 180 lbs of LEGO and the space
they would be taking in my apartment! 😅

| We also purchased a few sets. In total, the donation plus the purchase was 185
lbs, but I didn’t separate them out when I weighed them. It’s essentially a Lego
room starter pack. I’m the only family member interested in siortng, so that’s
my new hobby.

| I don't think I've ever owned that much LEGO even when I was a kid at
the height of my LEGO youth, it sound amazing for your kids if they're into
it, hopefully you don't burn yourself up trying to sort that many parts!
