I still have a problem with a payment made for an order, it's been shown
as pending clearance on BL for two weeks now ( exclamation mark and paid symbol
) but PayPal my end, just like the buyers shows absolutely nothing, not even
pending.

Messaged the buyer out of courtesy that the payment had not yet cleared but order
is waiting to be shipped, I hadn't forgotten.

I hope they don't mind me posting their reply, no personal info attached

sort of “API” error. But I resubmitted and it said it was approved. However,

I have no reason to question what they've said, clearly an honest person.

Can anyone suggest where we go from here ?

Can you set payment status to None and invoice the buyer?

If this doesn't work and it's a small order, you can cancel it and then
"Reserve" all the parts for the buyer so that they can reorder it again.

Maybe you can decline the pending payment and re-invoice.

Thanks but it's only pending on BL, no trace anywhere else, PayPal doesn't
have anything to decline.

No idea how I can decline it on BL.

I've changed status to pending and sent the invoice.

Fingers crossed buyer is happy with that, I have messaged them, and that it works.
