Do you have the sprue as well? That would be the crown on your collection.

This dialog with symbol-orientation and pics, is kinda like trying to follow
hieroglyphics

So that us not-in-the-know types can share in your excitement, what are mould
positions 1-20?

Normal bricks read Lego when longer side is vertical, sideways logo reads Lego
when longer side is horizontal.

Some Samsonite can have the odd logo normal on a sideways Lego logo, posted examples
earlier.

Moulds vary dramatically of the years in the number of bricks they produce.

The Samsonite mould that produced the sideways logo had 20 cavities marked underneath
with numbers 1 through to 20.

The Red, White, Blue, Yellow and Black were ABS, the Trans Clear was CA.

Tte U.K. Versions thought to have been made in Wrexham came in only Red, White,
Blue and Yellow.

There seems to be 3 moulds all 24 cavities.

1 - 24 and 25 - 48 in CA.

49 - 72 in ABS.
