| Hello I'm just a new user on Bricklink and having a little issue on my first
purchase where few hours ago before this post I've purchase a minifigure
from the seller InvictaBrick by the way for a grand total of $14.50 then after
putting in the details and purchase it successfully then all the sudden only
$10.20 being taken. Then I thought is this a glitch or something as before purchasing
the figure I've paid an extra $4.30 for tracking for my figure as I've
had anxiety over purchasing stuff online. Also does Bricklink charged the extra
$4.30 later as so far in this post I never yet got a reply from problem center
and decided to post on the forum for any other users experience of a similar
issue.
Thanks for the help and sorry for the confusion.

Just to clarify, are you saying that only $10.20 was deducted from your PayPal
account? That seems odd. How did you pay? Did you pay onsite (pay button on invoice
or order details page) or offsite (PayPal send money feature or hyperlink from
invoice)? I would try to get in contact with the seller to see how much they
actually received. Worst case scenario you end up sending them the remaining
$4.30 via PayPal and the seller pays a bit more in PayPal fees.

Perhaps your total was in AUD, and the Paypal payment was in USD. Currently it's
about $0.74 AUD to $1 USD.

The seller used the field 'additional charges #2' instead of 'additional
charges #1'.
Doesn't Bricklink uses additional charges #2 for the new tax calculation
feature?

No
The macrtotag page says that field is for charges entered or tracking fee
for IC. https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=661
If they changed that, then every seller on IC or automatic invoices for onsite
payment who has a charge for tracking will have an incorrect checkout or BL is
collecting the money for the tracking. Pray it is not the case...
Could it be that he seller perhaps issued an onsite payment manual invoice or
onsite payment automatic invoice without including the macrotag for that field
in his custom settings?

| From the screenshots it appears that your Paypal screen indeed talks about "$"
(generally short for USD) while your Bricklink screen explicitly talks about
AUD. Hence the seemingly different numbers.
