In light of this message and its positive reception:

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1182638

we would like to keep you informed about our progress with the site’s performance
issues. Recently we moved one of the slowest pages to a special server. The purpose
of this was to isolate problems so they could be studied and managed more easily.
This server is also faster, though we don’t know how much of a noticeable difference
that will make.

The page we have moved is the Store Inventory Detail page:

https://www.bricklink.com/inventory_detail.asp

If you notice any strange behavior on this page, please report it to us. We plan
to take the same action with other pages if this is successful.

Thanks for the transparent update. Greatly appreciated. Not sure when that change
went live exactly but all of today my inventory section has been lightning fast!

That's quite convenient, because we would like to be informed.

I have not been noticing nearly as many errors lately, so whatever you're
doing out there seems to be working. Thank you.

+1

Thank you for the heads up on progress with improvements made for infrastructure
needs. I personally have encountered some of the problems other users have stated
but never to the same detrimental extent some have experienced. I always knew
these issues were not going to be fixed over night, so it is very much appreciated
to be updated.

Thank you, Russell. I have noticed very few slow loads and no error messages
over the last couple of weeks. I didn't have anywhere close to the problems
others described, but it seems pretty zippy to me.

I appreciate your attention to our need to know and giving us helpful info and
a chance to help by reporting what we experience.

Have a good weekend

Welcomed news this is!
Thanks for the update and some insights in what actions were taken.

On the Dutch end, there are less load errors and the waiting time to show my
inventory has decreased. So, for now: thumbs up!

I has been a couple weeks now since the last time I had to redo a page of work
because of an error.

Thanks for the update. I am extremely happy to hear about BL working on site
performance issues. Unfortunately, I did just put in a bug report today. My
total inventory amount isn't updating properly.
