should it be allowed that a seller can take full payment for items and then not
ship for a week.
I am getting tired of people (hiding this sort of thing in there store terms)
If they are not ready so ship in a timely manor. it is in my opinion they should
not be collecting peoples
money.

To put it bluntly, you should adjust your expectations. BrickLink is a great
site, but every seller has the freedom to do things at their own pace. It's
on you to look at their terms and past feedback.

Buyers are protected by NSS (Non-Shipping Seller) after ten days and, even in
that situation, the seller still has a week to respond with shipping confirmation.
So, to look at it from an admittedly terrible perspective - at least they (would
have) shipped your order 10 days earlier than the absolute limit.

I don't have an opinion either way, but if you are having issues, I find
that reading the neutral and neg feedback reveals the slow shippers pretty well.

Although I have yet to have this issue when I buy, I agree 100%. As a seller
it should be your top priority to get your orders out as quickly as possible.
And to me, "as quickly as possible" is 48 hours or less. I understand that there
are very large stores out there and that may be difficult to do, but if you have
my money, I want my stuff. Its only fair. In saying that, might be a good idea
to read some terms before ordering.
