hi,just want something to get out of my mind

It is common that many buyers forget [or neglect] to give feedback
or even mark their order ''completed''when they receive their
order.
I think about 20% of the buyers

got used to it in the mean time.

but lately it happens also many times when I buy somewhere,receive/complete and
give feedback , that the seller does not give any feedback back to me as buyer.

Is this also a new ''common'' problem??
not only new sellers but also 2000+ sellers

As an experiment, I stopped giving FB first about two years ago (but for one
or two low-FB sellers). Surprise! Most sellers don’t want to give FB first.
I don’t know why.

Is this some kind of waiting game?

I only wish people would make a sound when they get the items. Always makes me
nervous with the international orders if something might be wrong and maybe they
are still waiting for that package?

I always give feedback right after payment when i sell
[except when someone pays after an NPB alert..then I wait untill it is received]

an when buying I always feedback after checking contents and completing

but yes..there are a few sellers that wait for what the buyer writes.
not quitte fair, but at least they give feedback

but none at all from sellers even when the buyer gives them one?
as a seller you should be a good example, right?

I get several orders per day. It's a waste of time I don't have to individually
post a feedback to each order. So I usually wait a month or so then click "feedback"
under the My Store tab which will then list every single order that I haven't
left feedback for. I then just go down the list and leave the feedback.

As for sellers, I haven't bought much on bricklink, but from what I have,
all of them have left feedback very quickly. I've found that about 50% of
my buyers leave feedback.

hi,
did you just say ''waste of time you do not have ''????

I also have a few orders a day
and before i ship out,I write a small message saying thank you for your purchase,
press ''post''and there are a few feedback's I typed before
to choose from.
press ''shipped'' and all this takes less then a minute.

A little more respect for someone that spends their money in your shop would
be nice.

Calm down... perhaps the words I use were a bit harsh and misleading. I leave
everyone feedback eventually. It's just more worth my time to do it all at
once than to do each one individually. I checked the feedback you leave for others
and they are all the exact same. Why not personalize each one by writing their
username in the feedback? Because that would take too much time and honestly,
it would be tedious. So you, like me, just copy and paste feedback.

That's what I was saying. I don't have the time to click on the little
"post" next to each order as soon as I receive it. I have orders to put together,
message to respond to, messages and invoices to send, etc. So I just wait until
a bunch gather up then post them all at the same time.

I have great respect for my customers, and leave them all feedback. It just may
take a little longer for some to get it. Just because I don't do it the same
as you doesn't mean I don't have respect for my customers.

I rather agree with HC. That that is the most you can do for your buyers is not
appetizing.

I honestly don't see the problem at all. I leave the feedback at some point
in a way that saves time for me to use that time elsewhere, even if it's
just a few extra minutes I gain.

I was away for a week and a half for a family emergency. During that time, I
got 100 orders. I barely have enough time right now to respond to people here
who are misunderstanding me.
I think I'd be showing more respect for my customers by getting their orders
out as quickly as possible than clicking "post" 100 times...

As a buyer, I don't really care if it takes a week or a month to get the
feedback as long as I get it.

If a customer asks about feedback, I will go ahead and give it to them right
away as a good gesture.

at first I gave all a personal feedback with their name in it,
[when you go to the last pages you can see].
but many buyers asked me not to use their name in the feedback...[privacy?]
later I wrote username, but again some asked me not to do this.
so now I always give them a small personal message in messenger saying thanks
and an e.t.a when they should receive their order.

Dear seller,

I was thinking of placing another order with you but I noticed you didn't
leave me feedback last time, even though I paid quickly, marked the order as
complete and left you positive feedback. Did you have a problem with me that
I don't know about?

That's a bit weird to ask, if your feedback already in good standing. Why
would...

I always leave feedback and roughly 80% of sellers leave feedback back, and I'm
happy with that. The remaining 20% are mostly people who plan of leaving mass
feedback at their convenience or not at all. Dgaf all the time.

In defense of your point, it's somewhat worth mentioning the glorious revenge
that was posted recently. Somebody played it cool and waited until the very last
hour it was possible to leave devastating feedback, and then it was too late
to retaliate. A true Keyboard Warrior.

Agree.

How old people over here are actually ? I wonder because some/many/too much doesn't
even know what feedback purpose is, disappointing . And I see too often talking
about retaliatory feedback... if you wish to fight, go with the good old Quake
3 !

Those people should all be banned for a month, just to teach them a lesson.

Feedback is and should be used to merely report on our experience, not for stupid
childish pointless distant fights. Crappy days we are now .
All those litter render feedback system useless.

Keyboard Warriors clack their keys, wish to crack your knees, so be careful
not to displease men of dignity like these.

His concern was the quiets are secretly spurning our attentive affections
or preparing to carry a petty grudge for months at a time, like that one guy
that one time. They might well be, but maybe not? My opinion is, if things are
on the up and up, there's no need to press your heel into slow feedbackers
like some kind of plastic mafia.

Well, it is a passive aggresive way of letting a seller know that they might
have lost an order as they couldn't be bothered to leave feedback for a good
buyer.

As a new member, building a reputation of good feedback is important to me. And...
well.. it makes me feel welcome to read a positive comment from the seller, even
if it is the same thing they paste to every buyer. Often, I also find a card
with "Thanks" written on the back or even a little note tucked in with an order,
which is a nice touch. I remember which stores were nice.

Eagerly I watch the journey of my package through tracking and practically pounce
on the postman. I check the contents immediately, which is hard, because I keep
getting sidetracked wanting to play with the stuff LOL, but feel a sense of duty
to the waiting seller.

I watch for a seller's feedback and if it never comes, I'm disappointed.
The blank spot continues to draw my attention among the neat rows of pretty
green triangles. I guess some stores just don't.

Same here. When I mark the order shipped, it takes just a few extra seconds to
click the feedback "post" right next to it, type a "G" and my browser expands
the comment for me and I preview and submit it. The latter costs me two clicks
when it should really be just one, but hey ho. Then it is done and I can forgot
about it.

It has been shown on ebay, that buyers are MORE LIKELY to bring problems to you
attention, rather than leave bad feedback, if you haven't left one already.
I personally believe the same is true here, it just makes sense from a general
human/animal behavior standpoint.

I personally wait until the package is delivered plus a day or so.

From bricklink;

Seller - You should post feedback after you receive payment or after the buyer
receives your items.

There is not a wrong way. They do not state anything about how quickly after,
so if sellers want to leave mass feedback later, that's ok.

Seller - You should post feedback after you receive payment or after the buyer
receives your items.

There is not a wrong way. They do not state anything about how quickly after,
so if sellers want to leave mass feedback later, that's ok.

As a buyer who values feedback, I agree with Adjour; however, it is helpful and
considerate if seller's who do mass feedbacks would make some sort of statement
in their terms (or wherever) to let buyer's know it may take up to 60 days
(or however long) to provide feedback. A buyer may then not be compelled to
send a message to the seller and perhaps not decide to discontinue future purchases
from that seller's store.
