I sold a head that was used.
The buyer isn’t satisfied with the head due to ‘massive nicks’.
So, I would almost say of course, I will make a refund of this part.
See the picture the buyer send, I did not see this when I inventoried it, not
when shipping it and, honestly I still do not see it, even not with the picture
that is magnified and larger than the head in real.
And yes, I do see some traces of use but massive nicks?
Is it true I mist something regarding this part or is the buyer a bit nitpicking?

Thanks for your comments, whatever they are, it is all a learningcurve.

Well if you sold is as used without some "completely no marks" description, then
I see no problem with this head.

Based on the pic, I'm guessing he's referring to the marks inside, which
really is kind of ridiculous. But I try to always treat a problem as the customer
is right, they're our life blood after all. And lets be honest, we're
all pretty anal about our Lego.

I'd just apologize and refund. Sorry but it's not worth a negative.

Hi Darcy,

Thanks for your response.
I would never give a negative for such a matter, his refund is on the way to
his bank. Partvalue and a bit extra.
He has more than 200 feedback so I’d expect him to know what used is and that
the black marks on the inside are from the neckpaint.

No, not that you would give a negative. What I meant was, it's not worth
you getting a negative from the buyer over something so trivial. 😉

Shame, refunds can only encourage these types of individuals. On the other hand,
I also understand you didn't want any trouble with them.

I would have made them send it back at my costs. Would cost me more, but then
I would be certain that I'm not being tricked while at the same time the
buyer has a fair deal of their choosing.

I think that’s a Nick where the shiny part is... that’s under the chin and really
wouldn’t be visible in my opinion but I’m with the others and usually just refund
on something like this.

Maybe this is the damage? There is a slight color difference.

That looks like the damage to me, couple of flat spots on the back of the head.
Easy to miss this kind of damage, it is usually seen better from different angles.

The nicks are there, but easy to overlook - and certainly not "massive" in my
opinion.
I would not have put it up for sale here if I had caught it.
