I could be mistaken about this, but I do believe that the wires normally came
attached to the ends, but some of these early inventories are still a work in
progress when it comes to the wires and that is likely the reason they are currently
listed separately.

This counterpart you are adding can actually stand for both types of ends (those
with a middle prong and those without) so I think it can correctly be used as
a counterpart assembly for the parts already listed in the inventory.

How long it stays listed as a counterpart may depend on a number of factors.
I do believe there is a group of early train collectors planning to update the
BL inventories sometime soon. We'll see how that goes. But for now anyway
at least there is a full cord attached to the inventory.
