I would like to have the option to ignore the minimum quantity field in My Wanted
List when viewing the "My Wanted Items By Shop" page.

This could just be a check box in "My Settings", or it could be an additional
sort option such as 'Lots (less than Min)'.

The reason I'd like to have this option is because if you are attempting
to purchase parts to build a large set (10179, for example), the Min Qty field
is a good way of keeping track of how many of each part you need to complete
the set.

The problem is when you need large numbers of many different parts and you look
at "My Wanted Items By Shop," part lots in a given shop will only count towards
the 'Lots (Total)' and 'Lots (Unique)' sorting choices if the
shop has greater than or equal to the Min Qty in your Wanted List. This behavior
penalizes stores that may have more unique parts, but only have them in quantities
less than what is listed on the Wanted List.

I got around this by putting 1 in the minimum quantity that I wanted flexibility
on and the # I needed in the remarks section.

For that to be most convenient, when you part-out a set to a wanted list, there
ought to be an option to put the part count in the comment field instead of the
Min Qty field.

I agree, in a perfect world there would be "total needed" as well as "minimum
to shop" or something like that

I would like to be able to set a minimum wanted quantity for notifications only,
but then be able to see any quantity when I am in a store, and viewing everything
on my wanted list.

I had a qty set high, for mail notification, and then discovered I was missing
small quantities, when I was already buying from a store, and then running my
wanted list through the store.
I only want a notification email if it is over X qty, but I want to see it,
when viewing items on my wanted list, for any qty.
