Then "hidden" is as well quite depending of one view... As another said, in EU
and as a buyer as well, when I read a "no paypal fees" I think that if I pay
through IBAN, I will pay fees (and a service) I don't need/want. Moreover, speaking
about personal freedom, that means as well that someone is promoting paypal instead
of letting chose with financial service He would use. Are we here to promote
this kind of business ?

You mention 'I think that if I pay through IBAN, I will pay fees (and a service)
I don't need/want'.

I really don't understand what you mean.
Paying in a € country as France is means IBAN payments are free for both buyer
and seller. So, no fees for both, opposite to Paypal that charges seller +/-
3,5% and a fixed amount of about € 0,35. Also, what service (as I read well)
IBAN payment gives is it you don't need or want? I think all services given by
a payment method or a seller are requiered.

I vote for Color Uncommon Though Existing. Great acronym along the lines of
SNOT and BURP but nicer sounding.

Brian

I know SNOT, that's slippery I believe (as a Lego surface I mean), but BURP?
I always read that you shouldn't swallow small (or big) Lego parts?
So why BURP?

Not to be confused with Ultimate Collector's Series...

That's what I meant so only 2 suggestions are left!

Well, we all know rare means ' not many of' but that doesn't mean it has a lot
of value. It also has to do with how collectible it is. For instance my dark
purple halberd may only excist 20 times, in Lego terms rare.
But if not many people want those items it won't be worth a lot.
On the other hand if people collect these odd colors that have not been in any
set they might want to find them.
Maybe we can find some term to let BL members find them.
Maybe someone can find a term that fits these mathers.
Suggestion 1: UCS, uncommon color scheme. ( somehow I have the idea this is already
in use).
Suggestion 2: VUC, very uncommon color.
Suggestion 3: CUTE, color uncommon though excisting.

Well al English or English American speaking will maybe come up with better ideas.

He was being sarcastic about the state of the second-hand market outside of our
lovely community

Well with his picture I thought Bigmouth Strikes Again! (I am a fan of band The
Smiths if he should be offended by this)

But why would he be sarcastic, it's just a forumpost, never asked about ebay
or a sarcastic non answer???

I am sorry if I don't understand what you mean, or, if I do understand I thought
BL members were not that charmed about the other site.
My question was if it would be nice or could be possible to make another search
term for BL members that want to sell or buy items that are not in the normal
color scheme. Otherwise they might not know the existence of it.

Wouldn't it be nice if the catalog has some search mode for out of the ordinary
colored items like prototype colors andsoone?

I have several dark purple Halberd Elaborate 6123 that might interest buyers.
But it's not something you generally look for if you don't know such an item
excists.

Maybe a search in the catalog named HTF or Hard to Find, rare or whatever term
Catmin chooses?

It would be nice for me/us as seller(s) but also for the buyer that looks for
something different he/she otherwise would not find.

If you want rare and hard to find go to ebay, they have tons of listings with
rare and hard to find in the title

I would like to have such an option too.
For me in buying but also in selling.
For instance: I have dark purple halberds, probably a one of small production
for a prototype Kingdom minifig. But if very few BL members search in 'parts
minifigure weapons' in my store no-one is going to find them.

I am in favor of this, but I don't think I would do it if there were fees involved
(especially 3%), in that case I would probably still subtract out manually.

I really don't see the need to 'buy' from your own store.
It isn't that much trouble in taking it out of your Inventory?
Maybe it's because I am Dutch, but I don't like to pay fees on something I need
myself and did not sell.
To complete a set or something else I just take it out of my inventory, you only
need to be carefull enough to take the right amount from the inventory.
I only use 'buying in my store' to make sure if I am still on track in selling.
I check what the remaining amount of money is, for instance Indiana Jones minifigs/parts
from 1 buy, to make sure it's still on the healthy side of making some money.

After checking I empty my shoppingbasket.
