I would like sellers to have the option to add items to an order (buyer will
have to approve them, more or less like the item removal process).

Voted yes, I get similar questions

Lately, I had multiple instances of (new) members asking to add or replace items
in their order after their order is submitted. I know it is not a difficult for
an experienced member to do, but it would be very user friendly for new buyers.

I had requests from: wanted to buy 4 tires, not just one, please add it to my
order.
Or someone new that orders a battery pack and motor that are not compatible,
when I let them know in the invoice, they ask me to replace the battery box,
with a one compatible with the motor.

Once again, I understand how easy it is to add parts to an order for anyone that
is familiar with the site and LEGO, but that would improve the buyer experience
a lot for the beginners.

Alternatively, it could be a link that shows all the items needed to be added
in a single page in the store.

Thanks,
CB

Good post and thanks for being vigilant in sniffing out fraudulent accounts.

What I don't get is, if you use PayPal, don't you get your money back
if the "seller" can't prove they sent you something?

Not if the seller withdrew the funds from his account before the claim was filed.

Is PayPal as bad as they used to be about freezing accounts for long periods
of time over little things? I remember being told to always clear the account
as fast as possible because they would tie up your whole account for weeks or
months.

I have always money in my paypal, just to make sure I can buy when I need to.
Taking everything out is the scammers way, maybe by doing this, you are flagged
to be a possible scammer?

Personally I have had no trouble, but have heard stories (long ago).

The current event got me thinking the rules are a bit outdated.

The 3 strikes you are out sounds good, but not if it's calculated over years.
At some point old NPB's and NSS's etc should stay on your record as feedback.
But not count towards you getting booted.

I think we can all agree that people should be allowed to scam no more than 2
people per year, perpetually. You just have to make sure it counts when you
use your allocated scams.

Seriously, though, there should be some timeless nature of the NPB/NSS.

The timeless nature is that the negative stys on your feedback.

  I have
managed to buy and sell here for nearly 9 years without having issues getting
hit with either.

And a good job you did
But bad things do happen for some reason, do you feel it's honest that a
1000 feedbacker needs to confirm to the same 3 strikes out as a 10 or 100 feedbacker?
At some point the odds are to high and 3 strikes on 3000 transactions.....

If you don't learn your lesson after the first two, why
is there hope you will after any number more (either one, or more if they "expire")?

Because chips happens, that simple.

It's not fair in my opinion to hold a 2000 feedbacker to the same 3 strikes
as a 10 or 100 feedbacker.
Why not let it be a percentage thing after the first 100 feedback/transactions
or something.

I just think the 3 strikes was never meant for 1000+ feedback, let alone 2000,
5000 or 10,000.

It's not about how much money you spend or how many feedback you have.
The % sounds like a good rule, because it's the same for everyone.
A 100 feedbacker can have maximum 3 strikes, but the 1000 may get 5? before they
are out.

I think Dan did not think people would get 1000, 2000, 3000 or 10,000 feedback.
So the system works for 10 feedback, 100 and even 500 feedback.

But at some point it fails...

Maybe a good idea to have this rule updated for 2.0

I would like to see some other brands of bricks available on the site, obviously
they would have to have a seperate category because no one wants a mega block
when they thought they were getting lego. Lego is obviously the best but the
other brands have certain parts that are very useful, wheels and weapons being
the best examples.

Hmmm, how best to say this, while I like to collect 2x4 bricks of all kinds.
While I don't mind the occasional mistaken brick in my LEGO.
Since LEGO is officially a clone brick of Kiddicraft.
The point I'm actually making here comes down to a simple, no.
