Interac eTransfer doesn't send money via email. It uses the wire transfer

| I sent them the actual invoice and removed their request to cancel (they had
provided the reason that the buyer and seller had mutually agreed to cancel).
If they communicate with me and really want to cancel then maybe it was all a
misunderstanding. If they don't communicate then I will wait a file a NPB
and see where that goes. Then I can provide feedback that is accurate.

I'm sure if I was "in Hiroshima when it happens" I would NOT ask
you to represent the bomber.
Something's doesn't seem to be coherent in what you wrote.
I'm also pretty sure LEGO isn't interested / doesn't allow
representations of actual war weapons and sceneries.
The concept of promoting peace while representing mass destruction objects is
a VERY complex approach, and I think you're far from this comprehension /
distance which would be required.
I'm 100% sure I'm NOT interested in this "project".

~ As seller, will I need to electronically insert proof of taxes-paid into the

It's really straightforward
BrickLink will automatically collect the UK VAT (under GBP135).
You will receive an e-mail with the VAT receipt, and can download the PDF from
the order page if not recevied.
Print it and attach it in a transparent document pocket outside.
Fill a normal CN22 or CN23 form.
|
This. Specifically for UK - this is enough. Your PayPal payment will have a 'Partner
Fee' section for this, which will be forwarded to BL's PP account immediately.
You will have to attach a VAT invoice to the outside of the package - you will
see it on the order page + will receive an email from BL with a .pdf
No need to attach anything electronically to your shipping label.
|
Thank you, guys!
I'll take both of your inputs as empirical and as an affirmation of the updated
help page. Very helpful. Thanks again

I am not sure a "Parts list" exists for just this build. You would have
to look at instructions for this build and make a parts list yourself.
Using the inventory for this set, the instructions, and a wanted list, you can
add the parts for each step to the wanted list by selecting them from the inventory
of the set. You can then download your wanted list, I believe, though I do not
know how as I have never done it before. Someone here could help with that aspect
though.
Good luck,

I may be mistaken but I think to the UK you don’t need IOSS but rather just printout
the VAT receipt and include it on the package. At the top of the order whenever
taxes (except to the USA) are applied you will have additional options at the
top of the order that let you know what to do. Picture 1 is from a UK order I
had which only prompts me to include the VAT receipt (which I download and print
out on 1 or several shipping labels and apply to the package just like the
normal label) and then in image 2 which went to the Netherlands I needed to also
include IOSS in addition to the receipt.
As for your 2nd question, yes if bricklink collects taxes they are collected
on the order itself just like USA sales tax unless it exceeds some $ amount which
varies by country in which case the buyer is charged it on delivery
|
Thanks. But this doesn't help to advance my understand beyond what I already
knew, in what to expect from the specific order details presented...
"if bricklink collects" "exceeds some $ amount"
"varies by country"

The effort is always appreciated though. Thanks again

Thanks, Jason. But as I highlighted "up-to-date" is what I'm
looking for here.

I don’t think there has been any significant updates to them tho. So that would
make those pages the most up to date for each respective country

My question concerns the up-to-date rules as applied here to distance
selling with the UK. Not certain about UK cross-border buying protocols, anymore.
~ As seller, will I need to electronically insert proof of taxes-paid into the
customs form (IOSS) in order to avoid the buyer being double taxed?
~ If taxation is applicable to such an order, will taxes be processed within
the order itself, or garnered from the buyer on the receiving end?
Thanks in advance

Unless they can provide a screenshot of the payment, then I wouldn't proceed
with the order & stoplist them just to be safe

I would like to think that all he has to do is refund the money I paid, mark
the order as ready or packed and then he could send a new invoice similar to
how a store would manage an order that paid with an offsite payment where taxes
could not be remitted to Bricklink?
|
It sounds to me like the seller somehow marked the original order as Not Paid
since a Paid order would not be batched with a 2nd order.
|
Only way is while NOT using an on site payment method.
Then again, comes the problem of possible avoid taxes
What a mess.
I'd be buyer or seller, I'd cancel the whole and restart from scratch
if possible and not too late.

| Recently had a small order where they buyer chose to not pay with instant checkout.
They then sent an email saying that they had sent the payment to me via email.
When I responded that the payment had not come through yet, they requested to
cancel.
I think they were hoping that I didn't check and just shipped it, thinking
it was paid.
Has anyone experience this type of possible scam where they try to get you to
ship something by pretending they have already paid?
