into one entry, with diffent colour options.

Reason, all item are the same, only difference is colour.

They have different part numbers.

BL has ignored stuff like this before because it’s not worth the hassle.

But if you want to keep item numbers just add them as alternates.

On closer inspection it is more than that. We don't have pictures of them
in box, but these listings are actually for Gear Sets. Those numbers are not
part numbers. They are product IDs.

Some sets can have alternate IDs too:

Set No: 4570178 Name: Minifigure, Series 1 (Box of 60)
*
4570178-1 (Inv) Minifigure, Series 1 (Box of 60)
60 Sets, 2010
Sets: Collectible Minifigures: Series 1 Minifigures

There are many gear items that only change in color and have different entries,
if the ID is saved as an alternate then we don't loose anything.

Missing also for merge these:

[g=N10746]
[g=LG11007]
[g=LG11012]

The blue comes in 2 different packaging:

PD: Seems the press release images or the first units didn't have the logo
on the square

  How do you update the cart when you've checked out?
[…image…]

That is only valid when one hasn’t yet checked out.  And you can’t click on “check
out” if the prices/available quantities have changed.

So, if OP has already checked out, as they seem to say, they can’t update the
cart anymore because the items have been reserved at the prices in the cart and
the prices can’t change.

(If the seller changed the prices after the click, it’s too late.  Too bad for
the seller if it’s an increase, too bad for the buyer if it was a decrease.)

So it’s a bug somewhere else, in the shipping calculation or in the taxes one.☝️

That isn’t the issue. I deleted the cart, added the items and then immediately
clicked “proceed to checkout”, got the same issue that it returned to store home
page …..

Can you screenshot the whole cart page?

  Everyone has a first LEGO set. weather it is a DUPLO train or a handmedown from
your older brother, every one has a memory of his or her first set. First LEGO
set was the 30013-1 Police Quad as a birthday present. I loved taking it apart
and putting it back together again and chasing invisible villains and bringing
them to justice! Then one day our dog got a hold of the police man and chewed
his head off.... Post your first LEGO set below!

Mine are 4 duplo buckets, don't know which one I got first:

Set No: 2245 Name: Farmhouse Bucket
*
2245-1 (Inv) Farmhouse Bucket
46 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1997
Sets: DUPLO: Basic Set

Set No: 2268 Name: Medium Bucket
*
2268-1 (Inv) Medium Bucket
49 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1998
Sets: DUPLO: Basic Set

Strange is that this one mine is in a yellow bucket:

Set No: 3036 Name: Large Bucket
*
3036-1 (Inv) Large Bucket
69 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1999
Sets: DUPLO: Basic Set

The fourth one lost all their side stickers, but was a yellow cube too.

  My customers always seem to have trouble following the process of approving an
item removal request therefore can these steps not be simplified?

A buyer has asked me to reduce the quantities they have ordered on a couple of
items from their order and whilst I have no issue submitting the request they
always seem to struggle to approve it despite me spending lots of extra time
trying to explain and direct them to 'MY BL' and then 'MY ACTIVITY'
to locate and approve the request

We always send them the link that goes directly to that page:

Niek.

Me too!

  Hi there! I've be pretty peeved by some of the new rules and instructions
for BrickLink. I can't view the instructions for a build unless it is not
related to a licensed brand or product. this goes for the same on Moc page on
BL. is there a way to turn the instructions back on for my licensed product related
builds? I don't need it to have the downloadable function, but just a way
to turn the instructions back on.

I think the only way is to use the Studio .io file on Studio and see the
instructions there.

Look at the logo

You are looking at the wrong logo. See the better one at the bottom of the
page. The new 'bricklink' logo (boring modern design without character
or reference to its source) was designed by someone who didn't even get the
correct proportions of a brick. It bothers me literally every time I see it.
Sigh...

+1!

But neither this one, WARNING, this is selling fake bricks!!!
https://www.bricklink.co.uk/

Indeed that logo is more on line LEGO brick dimensions, just 2 plates

In fact... maybe WE are selling fake bricks apparently

  Hiya,
I have an order that needs invoicing however every time I try and do it, it says
“The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred.”
Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Zero out all the fields you entered and submit. Then reenter the data and try
again. I would bet you have an errant space or punctuation mark.

And remove any email in your invoice comments.

  What could be argued is that BL parts orders are “goods made to order or clearly
personalised.”  Those are exempt from the “cooling-off” period.

It used to be that lego.com PAB orders were not returnable. They have changed
their rules so that they are now returnable so long as the whole PAB order is
returned. So if LEGO have relented on their 'no PAB returns' line, presumably
there is some legal reason behind it.

The 'goods made to order' exemption used to be stated on LEGO's website
for Pick a Brick. I'd be highly surprised if it wasn't removed due to
a challenge on right to withdraw.

It's worth noting that right to withdraw only applies to consumers. So if
a seller buys from another seller, distance selling regulations don't apply
in the same way.

Or they just eat the cost of them as returns request could be very very low,
that will help their Customer Service award.

them,

working on the star wars 75345 * 100, the first bag 30 very easy, BUT Then the
smaller bag, 74 parts, it just seemed a long part out process.

Have you ever found a set you didnt enjoy parting out?

I hope you all have a great day

Jim

It took a few days to process almost a hundred of these:

Set No: 41908 Name: Extra Dots - Series 1
*
41908-1 (Inv) Extra Dots - Series 1
109 Parts, 2020

You had to flip all the tiles up and sort carefully.
