Exactly that part!

In Catalog, novabrick writes:
  It would be this I assume?

Part No: 30530 Name: Legs Martian Angular
*
30530 Legs Martian Angular
Parts: Minifigure, Legs, Modified {Blue}

That 3 - 01 would fit a typical marking of a position on the sprue during manufacturing.
I have seen it on similar parts of that age.

Good to know! Thanks!

Part No: 4532  Name: Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 (Undetermined Type)
*
4532 Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Container {Light Bluish Gray}
I came across multiple sets such as

Set No: 71006 Name: The Simpsons House
*
71006-1 (Inv) The Simpsons House
2504 Parts, 6 Minifigures, 2014
Sets: The Simpsons
where they have the undetermined
as a normal entry and then have a solid/hollow version as an alternate in the
set.

for example set

Set No: 71006 Name: The Simpsons House
*
71006-1 (Inv) The Simpsons House
2504 Parts, 6 Minifigures, 2014
Sets: The Simpsons
has

Part No: 4532  Name: Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 (Undetermined Type)
*
4532 Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Container {Orange}
as a regular part with match ID 10

then has

Part No: 4532a  Name: Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 - Solid Studs
*
4532a Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 - Solid Studs
Parts: Container {Orange}
as an alternate with match ID 10

but when watching a new build of the set it has

Part No: 4532b  Name: Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 - Hollow Studs
*
4532b Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 - Hollow Studs
Parts: Container {Orange}

then there are sets like

Set No: 3179 Name: Repair Truck
*
3179-1 (Inv) Repair Truck
114 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 2010
Sets: Town: City: Traffic
where

Part No: 4532a  Name: Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 - Solid Studs
*
4532a Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 - Solid Studs
Parts: Container {Light Bluish Gray}
with match ID 3 in the main section and

Part No: 4532  Name: Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 (Undetermined Type)
*
4532 Container, Cupboard 2 x 3 x 2 (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Container {Light Bluish Gray}
with match ID 3 is listed as an alternate.

so I'm a little confused as to how to handle these ones. when alternates
are the main part in the inventory and the a or b is in the alternates or when
a or b is in the main inventory and the undetermined version is listed as an
alternate is this something that happened when the part was separated? I dont
really know what to do with these
Thanks!

Before the determined entry 4532b was added to the catalog, there were only the
determined entry 4532a (called "with solid studs" ) and the entry 4532
which did not specify the version in the name, but was also not called undermined.
Since the images under 4532 showed hollow studs and the only other 4532* entry
in the catalog was 4532a with solid studs, 4532 was often considered the hollow
studs version. So if you have an inventory with 4532a and 4532, it usually means
that both versions were found in the set. However, this should still be checked
before 4532 can be replaced with 4532b.

As a start, always check the change log.
For 3179 you can see that 4532 was added as an alternate.
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvChangeItem.asp?itemType=S&itemNo=3179-1&viewDate=Y&viewStatus=1
So the set was originally inventoried with 4532a (solid studs) in 2009, and then
someone found the variant with hollow studs in the set in 2012. In such a case
we can be sure that 4532 stands for 4532b (because 4532a was already in the inventory)
and no further proof is needed to replace 4532 with 4532b.

For 71006, someone found 4532a while the set was inventoried with 4532.
https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=189449
(You can see in the forum message that 4532 was just called "Container, Cupboard
2 x 3 x 2" at the time.)
It is likely that the inventory submitter had the version with hollow studs in
the set, because otherwise they probably would have used the 4532a entry, but
since 4532 was not called "with hollow studs", this must now be checked
again with an original set (Youtube, Brickshelf, ...) before 4532 can be replaced
with 4532b.

Hope that makes sense?

I’m going to see the number “4532” in my dreams
But I think I get the gist of it, but I’ll read it a few more times in the morning
when I get back to work
Thankyou for clarifying!

  Souce: sealed set (European version). It was 66gr (not 55gr that was a typo).

I note that the weight of Canadian box is about 10-11gr more. Checked this with
two copies of European box and two copies of Canadian box. Though, the size of
boxes are exactly the same and they look identical, besides the extra prints
on the Canadian box.

So

The weight of empty Canadian box: 28gr
The weight of empty European box: 18gr

The weight of Canadian complete set with box and instruction (and considering
1gr extra for a mini catalog): 76gr
The weight of European sealed set: 66gr

Please add these as additional note.
If time permits, I add photos of both boxes.

Almost every single set in the BrickLink catalog has different versions from
different regions with different packaging and different weights. It was decided
longggg ago that the site would not track this information and only display the
largest weights reported. Since you are reporting the data from a sealed European
version and not a sealed Canadian version, the European numbers will be used.
Therefore, I have updated the weight of the set to 66g and not added any additional
notes.

Cheers,
Randy
