Of all the replies, none address your question 24 hours later

It had been three hours and I'm pretty sure that if he head searched the
forum he would have found the answer (if not for Canada specifically, then other
countries).

I can send more details if needed, don't how and where ask for such situation

If you paid via PayPal, then put in a claim ASAP. If not, contact your bank -
you might be able to do a chargeback on your credit card (if you paid by that
method). Also, report seller via BrickLink Problem Order - https://www.bricklink.com/retractOrder.asp

How much is Canada to buy? Can you ship it to the UK?

What's the general sentiment about texting a buyer/seller after a week of

I'm coming up on a week for an invoice that hasn't been paid yet for
a large set. Messages are not read and it's a relatively old user with
very low feedback. (so they should know how the system works, but maybe it's
been a while?) There is a phone number attached to the address so I could call
or text but people get funky about that kind of stuff now-a-days.

Email/BL Message? Yes. Call/Text? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

If email/messaging fails, issue an NPB.

I presume you're talking about the part ins Studio? If so the proper Studio
forum is here - https://forum.bricklink.com/

However to help with this issue, you could always place a plate underneath where
you want the parts and then attach to that, then delete the plate.

I'm not noticing any issues with placing these parts side by side though.
There is a grid setting which adjusts fine movements. You could also try turning
on/off part-snapping.

Hello. This may sound little weird considering putting bricks together is indeed
tons of fun, but I was wondering if there is anybody (Florida preferably so we
can eventually meet) who would have time will and energy to design a set for
me?

The set I envision will be a replica of an existing and well documented object
that comes with somewhat complicate set of moving parts that only somebody with
decent knowledge of technics bricks, axels, etc. could put together.

I know I will learn alot in the process so I consider this a great lesson, therefore
I'm willing to pay someone for their time (hope my post does not go against
forum's terms)

Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

Give us an idea as to what the item is, what you want it to do, how large you
want it and how much you are willing to pay a designer and you might get some
offers. I doubt it, but maybe.

Always wondered what the story is there... Reddish Orange was 256 before being

I read (somewhere) that the database can handle only integer figures upto 255,
so Reddish Orange had to use a lower (unused) value. As for the other missing
values...?

Within minutes the messages are taken down.

Thank you Admins for working hard and reacting quickly to keep the Forums from

You have a thankless job. Not sure everyone realizes the 24 x 7 effort all of

While I also report these when I see them, these posts really shouldn't exist

again on the forums) to prevent them from being posted.

But yeah, the Mods/Admins do indeed remove them very quickly, so hats off to

Have a Magical Day,

Dusty

I think this is a big problem with the NSS overall; the seller shipped, but did
not send the correct parts as ordered. I think this should come under a different
complaint to someone that didn't ship anything (or order never arrived).

It's easy for the seller to post an image/proof to show they shipped something
(which will cause the NSS to be removed), but it doesn't prove they shipped
the correct something! The buyer still might not have the items they paid for.

  Hi,

I bought my first MOC set recently and clearly made a rookie error in going for
what I thought to be the best priced bundle. Only now I’ve realised I’m missing
around 10 individual parts as the seller didn’t have them in stock (lesson learned).
I now need to source these 10 pieces but on their own could end up paying much
more and also in postage. Is there a better way to source these pieces at all
or is there no option but to potentially have to go through 10 individual sellers
and just pay all the postage?

Cheers

Create a "Wanted List" of the parts you require. Then click "Buy
All" - select the region where you want to buy from ("United Kingdom"
and it will list the sellers only in the UK with the parts. Those at the top
of the list have the most parts required. You can select the seller with the
most parts with lowest price and shipping easily.

There have been LOOOOOOADS of reports of this on the Official Studio Forum (

Can you help? What is the procedure when a buyer says the items have not arrived

Do I refund or do I wait for result from postal service and then refund?

I cannot find a procedure in seller help. My buyer says I have a contract with
him and I have a contract with the postal service. He feels I should refund him
and then wait for refund from postal service.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Nick

How long has it been since posting? RM has a maaaaaaaaassive backlog of post
- letters and parcels that they are slowly working through. Partcels are allegedly
taking priority despite what RM says), but it could still be a while.

I recently received a parcel (from an eBay seller) that took well over a month
to get to me (we're both in the UK). I'd given up hope of ever receiving
it.

I want to export an image I created in Studio. The following article explains
how this is done:

https://studiohelp.bricklink.com/hc/en-us/articles/5628123432215-Exporting-Instructions

However, the instructions here do not at all match the software I have downloaded.
According to the instructions, there should be a green button named "Export".
However, in my program there is "SIGN IN", "Add to wanted list"
and "Upload to MyStudio" in the top right.

I am using Studio version 2.23.11 (1)

This is the latest release, not the latest stable. The reason I am not using
the latest stable release is that would not start on my Macbook. I have Sonoma
14.2, so the OS version should not be a problem.

If you want to export just an image of your creation then you just select the
"Render" option - that will render the scene and create an image for
you (in the format and size of your chosen settings). It looks like you're
reading the wrong instructions - that link is for creating a .PDF instruction
file, via the Instructions Maker.

You have so little faith!

Box count: 5374

Set count: 5371 with 2 minifigures

(Like every other set on BrickLink with minifigs, btw)

Break minifigs: 5381

However, this accessory pack is split up:

Part No: 72329 Name: Minifigure, Rangefinders and Visors, 8 in Bag - 4 of Each (Multipack)
*
72329 (Inv) Minifigure, Rangefinders and Visors, 8 in Bag - 4 of Each (Multipack)
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear Accessory

adding 7 parts to the overall total. LEGO counts the whole plastic bag as 1.

Which brings us to 5374.

~Jen

You have so little humour!

In any case, even if it's covered, I'm not sure I'm willing to let
that aspect come into play. A fair compensation should be determined regardless
of the insurance claim. If not, the customer would get a new - sealed set (although
damaged) almost for free.

poor packaging and have been amazed that the orders to me at all and without

He could always get a new replacement box off BrickLink for less than 10 £/$/Euros
including postage - https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?O=75335-1#T=S&O={%22ss%22:%22UK%22,%22rpp%22:%22200%22,%22iconly%22:0}

That's about as much as I'd refund (if I were a seller and in your shoes)
- certainly not 50% of the cost, especially since it's difficult to prove
if the box was damaged during transit or afterwards...

I know collectors like to keep boxes in mint condition, but most collectors would
have bought the set when it was first released and not when it's just about
to retire. Something that old is likely to have shelfwear/scuffs etc.

Every one of my Negative feedbacks are retaliatotry remarks from BAAAAAAD sellers,
including one that sent me items stinking of smoke as in original post. Rather
than accept that they are to blame, every single one of them marked me down.
And BrickLink don't care.

I would say that it's worth a retaliatory feedback if the seller really is
being a douche - let it serve as a warning to other buyers. You take the hit
