Happy Friday!

I'm thrilled to extend an invitation to join the newly established (NEW)
Worldwide Bricklink Buyers and Sellers Facebook group.

Unfortunately, the current group's moderators have been inactive, resulting
in a halt in new member admissions and restricting participation for many. Moreover,
there has been a noticeable increase in spam and a decline in content quality.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to be part of the community from its inception
and secure exclusive founder badges by joining early!

Congrats to dnabrix for hitting 10k!

https://www.bricklink.com/feedback.asp?u=dnabrix

Seems like just yesterday when we were "racing" to 2000 when I was at
1830s and you just hit 1000.

I lost the race despite the 800+ head-start

I'll always be inspired by the dna brix entrepreneurial story.

It's a boon of sorts to the membership, especially now that it's been
revitalized from it's original more inert years. Longtime members will know
and appreciate what I'm referring to...

This posted suggestion we had inadvertently & unknowingly canceled sometime ago,
has just been reinstated. Please consider and vote, up or down:

Greetings!
The period of existence of our store is coming to an end.
It will be closed on February 15th.

I know that the attitude of many users towards our store cannot be called positive.
Due to the specifics of our work, process and delivery times, which arose due
to the current global situation in the world, which worries everyone, we received
negative feedback, but we always resolved the issues that arose in favor of our
customers.

We have been included in the lists of Highlighted and Featured stores many times
thanks to your support.
And I hope that one way or another, each of those who placed an order with us
was satisfied with our range and quality of parts.

Until the 15th you can place and pay for orders in our store. All orders paid
by you before the 15th will be sent to you according to the rules specified on
our store page. Please ensure you are happy with these shipping and delivery
times before placing your order.

We will be very happy to receive, assemble and process your last orders in our
store.

Having heard all of the recent news regarding Bricklink's plan to merge mold
variants, and the possible flaws regarding that plan such as certain mold variants
having functional differences such as Part 15573 being mixed up with other jumper
plates, I have come to realize that if customers are worried about purchasing
outdated parts or colors, they should really be shopping on The LEGO Group's
official Pick a Brick website, which only sells parts that are currently being
manufactured.

I see Bricklink as a preservation website, where it should be able to preserve
parts of LEGO's history. And the thing is, one cannot buy retired elements
such as parts from the Bionicle sets on Pick a Brick, or parts in retired
colors like translucent neon green. People will flock to Bricklink just to get
those retired elements. The act for merging catalog entries for similar molds
in order to avoid customer confusion not only endangers the preservation and
documentation of specific LEGO parts, but it also can create further customer
confusion and frustration in the event they buy the wrong type of parts.

I’ve been a member here since the earliest days, according to user number I understand
that I’m one of the first two thousand members of this site. In the time between
when I originally joined and now we’ve seen many great improvements, so much
so the site is barely recognizable anymore. However the entire time there has
been one core guiding principle: BL provides users with a way to buy the parts
they need.

With this merge that will be eliminated. I won’t be able to easily identify I
need a 9 ratchet dual hinge piece or an axle hole variant of a 2x2 modified bricks
with hinge in my want list for a set I’m trying to put together based on communication
shared by the admins. This is a clear move backwards in friendliness and functionality.

I can’t recall a loss of functionality like this in my time at BL. Sure there
have been some things that have been eliminated but none of them would prevent
putting a set together or identifying a needed piece.

I understand these changes may make life easier for sellers but it’s important
to also make life livable for buyers too. Surely there is some other solution
that can be found to this problem, because it’s clear that this wide ranging
merge that includes merging pieces with differential functionality within the
system is not the right answer.

I have been creeping to 20k orders placed and we went by it over the weekend.
Just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to the brick link community for all
the orders. My story is similar to a lot of people I am sure. Found brick link
trying to put together old Star Wars sets for my kids. Was a buyer for awhile
until I said to my wife while on recovery from Hernia surgery " I think I
will open up a store just for fun" 9 years or so later here we are. A lot
of mistakes and frustrations along the way but..... the community is outstanding
and I have made several great relationships along the way. Again thank you all.

God bless,

Eric

Holy Cow! I'm not reading through all those replies, so I apologize if this
has been covered. I for one have found keeping up with all the variants to be
exhausting over the last 9 years, however, from the standpoint of trying to complete
sets, it is important to know the variations of an element, and which variation
you need to acquire in order to complete your set.

If it is no longer mandatory to keep up with distinctions, it will be even more
difficult and frustrating from a buying standpoint, always having to ask before
you buy, which will fluster the seller, especially if they have no idea which
variant they have and probably will not want to go digging to find out.

Thank you Brickling for 6 great months.

It has been quite a ride that I have thoroughly enjoyed.

Thanks to the many customers, as your purchases are helping to financially support
my kids college aspirations one brick and mini fig at a time.

Thank you to Lego and Brickling for permitting me the opportunity with this platform.

Just found these in the sticker sheets for the new monkey kid Megapolis City
set # 80054!
As you can see the mask is a new colour, and is a sticker(not to mention it’s
the same stile as the gift with purchase bionicle mask!)
Perfect for Bionicle Mocs!

And this time cruisers sticker is sure to draw some attention from R.R. Slugger
on YouTube.

Supposedly closing down the site, not surprising due to how rude the connected
partners are on this and associated sites are. Be careful if you offer anything
or request of any piece they don’t like, a verbal volley will follow.
