| On the bottom of the inventory page of these sets, it is written:
The instructions do not show a trailer on the ladder truck, but actual set
contents and the official piece count (218) and an image of all three trailers
together on the box, prove that the set did come with the necessary pieces to
build the third trailer.
I found and bought an extra white-and-black sheet from a Lego fan in Canada.
This is probably added as extra page for instructions of 357 to some copies of
this set. I say some, because I had not seen this sheet. I bought myself this
set with box and all parts from a Canadian seller in very good condition but
this sheet was not there neither.
The paper I bought might be itself a copy of an original one because the bottom
of the page seems to not been copies (the bottom rectangle don't have a line
and there is no number on the footprint). I don't know how to verify whether
my sheet is original.
This extra sheet proves that the set did come with the necessary pieces to build
the third trailer.
I suggest to modify the note for these two sets:

I noticed two things. One is that there were three tires in my used copy.

| We have a serious problem with some information papers. Sometimes they are identified
as book and sometimes as instructions.
I think it is better to consider them as book if it includes information about
how one can use a motor,...
and a paper if it includes information on how to safely use a battery box,...
in various sets.
Both of these came in language variations. For example the book of 103-1 came
in 14 language variations!
I think we need to mark the instructions for delete and add them as book or paper
information to the inventory of their appropriate sets.
Otherwise it takes years and maybe forever to resolve this situation, as mentioned
here.

| I really fail to understand why this item is added.
Between 1980-985 Lego produced this supplemental sets, along other 12v supplemental
sets:
In 1986 (for the Dutch market or all markets, I don't recall), they decided
to downgrade this supplemental sets as a service pack, and they numbered it 1239
Then they realized it was a bad idea to sell this set in a service pack so since
1987, they again produced it in its box as before.
But they already had some leftovers and decided to re-purposed them by adding
an extra sticker 7863 on top of 1239's sticker, as seen in the photo:
That's it!
There are probably a few of these copies and I happen to see it once in the last
5-6 years and I bought a lot of 4 service packs, two of them was e-purposed 7863.
Does this really justify adding an extra catalog entry?!
IMHO hell no

| I had a buyer who was off-putting, unreasonable and files PayPal claims twice.
He filed an NSS too. All the claims were decided in my favor.
He finally left a neutral feedback. He has annoyed me so much.
Right from the beginning, I considered if it would be a good ideas to name and
shame him on the forum by giving all details and leaving people to decide.
What are your thought about this? Do you think that would be a good idea to provide
on the forum all or some details of the interaction?
If I want to answer to this question, I would find it a good idea. I would want
to know if a seller failed, or if the buyer was unreasonable or wanted to extort
money and then decide to stoplist that buyer. I would not learn enough from a
20-word feedback of the two parties.

| I still don't know why a neutral feedback exists and what it serves for!
A neutral feedback is just understood as a bad feedback. Why Bricklink does not
remove it?
After about 1580 orders, it seems I got my first bad feedback. The buyer, apparently
a difficult one, has left two neutral feedbacks so far.
He left me a neutral feedback: "packing was not very good."
I wrote him a polite message and asked him what the problem was and how I can
resolve it and I am sure he read my message ("deleted without reading",
so he received and read the message in his mailbox), but he does not communicate.
The order was just a small set without box/instructions:
for $13.49 USD. I sent it with insurance.
To make the shipping costs low and since there were no part fragile in this set,
I packed it a very light box. If the package weighs more than 100gr, it would
cost few dollars more to ship to USA and I made an effort to pack in a way to
help the buyer spend less money for shipping costs.
I am open to send missing parts, refunds,... but the buyer seems to just be interested
to keep his bad feedback!
This bad feedback won't affect the reputation of my store but I still want
to resolve it and keep a 100% positive feedback. If anybody has any idea to resolve
the problem, let me know please!

| I checked a summary of my orders and there is one buyer from Egypt.
I certainly never shipped to Egypt. This is a glitch of Bricklink that assumed
I had an order from Egypt because one of my buyers changed his address to Egypt
some time after I shipped to him.
Now the puzzle: how can I find who that buyer is? Just curious.
- I have checked my feedbacks. Nobody from Egypt. So we did not leave a feedback
for each other.
- there are about 200 users from Egypt. I can search their usernames, one-by-one,
in my email address. This works, assuming that buyer did not change his username
since he ordered from me.
Is there any smart way to find-out who this buyer is?

| I used it few times to ship to few countries, such as China, Portughal, Australia,
when it is much cheaper than other options. Sometimes, they send me an extra
invoice to pay few extra dollars for shipping was more expensive than what I
paid for (because I incorrectly entered the dimensions) Ok, but for my last shipment
to China, this happens:
1) I inserted the dimensions and value and insurance of $2000 CAD. I was quoted
$98.60 CAD and paid for it. I rounded up dimensions to avoid any issue.
Few days after the parcel was delivered in China, I received an invoice of $138.57
CAD and they withdrew it from my PayPal account (because NetParcel was automatically
added to my PayPal account for authorized withdrawal.
This is not acceptable so I decided to not use NetParcel anymore. It is just
ridiculous. Not worth the headache for cheaper shipping methods.
Follow-up: I wrote them and UPS replied them this:
A good day to you.
We received a response from the carrier and here's what they said;
I have received your email for the tracking number 1Z741...XXXXXXX. I am here
to help you.
I understand that you are disputing the dimensions of this package. Based on
the information that we have we audited this package and the dimensions obtained
were 24 x 16 x 9 which divided by our divisor that is 139 provides the weight
of 24 lbs.
Kindly provide a photo of the package so we can forward it to them as proof that
the dimension is 23 x 12 x 8 inches.
Message 2:
I completely understand your dispute regarding the charges but please note
that we billed the correct amount for the service since throughout the transit
of the package the system audits the current dimensions of the parcel and when
our UPS Driver is delivering the package if the area is remote we usually bill
additionally for the extended delivery we also verified that there is a declared
value on the package which increase the cost of shipping.
As a courtesy, I have successfully processed the refund for 127.67 CAD.
My comment: even if the dimensions are as they claim, based on the quote I can
still get on NetParcel's website, it will cost only few dollars more expensive
(i.e. at most $10 CAD) and not $127.67 CAD!
It seems UPS can claim whatever dimensions they desire to and I will have no
resource.
Moreover, I inserted and wanted an insurance of $2000 CAD and paid for it. What
do they talk about "we also verified that there is a declared value on
the package which increase the cost of shipping."?
Problem 2:
Last year I shipped to Portugal. It costed about $70. For some reason, the package
could not be delivered (my fault) and has to be returned. The NetParcel wrote
me back that they would charge me something like $400 CAD to return the package.
This means using NetParcel means if any problem occurs, like if buyer do not
want to pay import fees, the cost of return shipment is not worth it and I should
forget about the package and its content.

| Not because I have received many orders, from many countries, not because I sell
some rare items (while some of you think: what matters is your profit!), because:
I received a "quote request" from a country I did not know where it was!
The name of country is Macau. This is not yet an order but this gives
a very good feeling I can provide good quality vintage sets and catalogs to such
a small country
Would you have the same feeling in my place?
P.S. Shipping costs with CanadaPost tracked (Xpress Post) would be about $113
CAD. That is too high. I don't have another shipping option so the buyer
backed up a little bit 
The cheaper option is tracked on surface for about $70.
Other options via USA with ChitChats are all untracked.
NetParcel is really annoying and I have decided not to ship with them any more.
I will write another post about them to warn my fellow Canadian sellers.

| The order was a set
with box and many photos were attached. Double checked its inventory and all
pieces were there. However I received my very first bad feedback that says
"It was a good deal."
Shipping costs are just as they are but for your information, is was
US $27.49
from Canada to Korea. (about 99gr)
Why the neutral then?
I sent two messages to buyer, both on Bricklink and to his email address but
got no response after 8 days.
Any solution/idea?

| For an order from UK (total less than 40 GBP), I have two options:
- Shipping option 1 that includes IOSS number: it costs more
- Shipping option 2 that does not include IOSS number: it costs less!
I am wondering if I ship without including IOSS number, how much buyer will need
to pay?
Only %20 of total
or
%20 of total + handling fees?
If it includes handling fees, how much are these fees in UK? (for normal courires
like Hemes or Royal mail)

| I ship large baseplates 26x26, wrapped with a cardboard, in a bubble mailer with
CanadaPost inside Canada.
But I am not sure if this is going to be safe for shipping to USA.
Somebody ordered two baseplates and it helps to save few bucks if I ship it as
a letter, wrapped with cardboard. This way, the weight of package will be about
150-200gr lighter.
If you have any experience with shipping baseplates: is this going to be too
risky?
