| Firstly I'd like to say a big thanks to all my customers over the last year and that each one is greatly appreciated.
Coming toward Christmas the store has smashed milestones with concurrent orders, the highest total parts for an order, the highest value sale, and the most sales for a month.
It's very exciting and we still have a month before the 1-year mark.
As a result of recent Lego activity, the qty of parts has taken a hit but transformed the store so that it can offer more new parts than ever before. A wider range of both new and old that meets the needs of more people traveling the Lego adventure.
The splash page has been changed to show what sets are being added and give anyone creating their own vision that extra boost of characters and action.

| September 24th marks 13 years since Dan Jezek, BrickLink founder, passed away.
After such an incredible period of BrickLink growth, Dan would have been proud
to see so many millions of LEGO enthusiasts around the world still enjoying the
website he launched live, June 19, 2000. BrickLink was his life's joy and
purpose and truly a dream come true. It's still a place where people can
meet, trade, talk and share their "love for the brick". Yes Dan, when
it comes to BrickLink, everything still is awesome!
Please take a moment's pause to remember Dan and his legacy he left behind.
Dan is not here now, but he truly has united us all with a single click.

| Hello,
I just wanted to say that I've really liked my time here as a Bricklink seller.
However, recently, a number of life circumstances have made it difficult for
me to maintain my store, so I had to sell my inventory. It took me two years
to almost completely create it, and while it was sad to see it go, it was also
relieving to no longer have to worry about it.
I just wanted to express my gratitude to all the wonderful forum users and sellers
that have helped me establish my store, helped me with silly questions, and generally
helped me be and just were kind. Now that I know, I can say with confidence that
the Lego community is one of the best you could possibly join. One day, I hope
to return and buy a gift for a local child or perhaps my own child. But for the
time being, I'll probably only come back to check in occasionally and sell
off a few display sets from my collection. Many thanks to all the wonderful people
out there!

| And so it begins. I just stuck my good friend in the old microwave
to conduct some tests. the minifigure was rather crushed when I received it and
it isn't worth much any way. After about 5 minutes he's still holding

| She went into labor giving birth to her second child (me) on Labor Day. Let’s
just say several decades ago
As the story goes, she was told that her baby would most likely not survive.
Life is tenacious though, so I apparently clung to it. Fought the fever to regain
a hold on that which was gifted to me, a chance at life. Whenever I reflect on
this holiday, my thoughts go to how laborious it must have been, her labor on
that Labor Day...
That year Labor Day fell on the second of Sept. So orders placed tomorrow Saturday
the 2nd, will receive a gift in my celebration of it.

| The NHC has begun issuing statements on Tropical Depression 10, which is likely
to become the ‘I’ storm for 2023. Long range track (which can be subject to great
errors) is for landfall very late Tuesday night / early Wednesday morning.
If the current track and speed of advance holds., I will be closing my store
early on Tuesday morning (around 1000-1100 UTC), shipping anything that I have
payment for, and then preparing for the storm.
Other Florida store operators, from Lee county all the way to Panama City should
please keep advised of the latest progress reports from NHC.

I've now been a member of Bricklink for 20 years. It has been a lot of fun!!
Here are just a few examples of the fun orders placed in my store:
1. Order from Denmark, November 2010
Upon returning from Denmark on Thanksgiving Eve November 2010 I re-opened my
store. The next morning there was an order from Denmark. Not really that interesting
or ....
While I was in Denmark I had visited a relative in Copenhagen. The very first
order that I received upon re-opening my store came from a Bricklink member who
lives two apartments above the relative I had visited. He uses the exact same
stairway to enter his apartment as I had used when I visited my relative. My
relative does not know this member. ... You may look at Denmark as "a grain
of salt" (as Piet Hein would say), but for some Danes, Denmark is 'huge'.
2. Order # 2000000 around January 29, 2011.
This was still the time there was a lot of hype about order numbers that end
with '000000'. I wasn't home when this order was placed (but I do
remember exactly where I was). I did notice that I had received order 2000000
as I had my cell phone. For me it feels like there were hundred of Forum messages
just related to this order. Perhaps the actual number was closer to 10.
3. Order from Holland, November 16, 2016
I received an order from a Dutch member who added a question to the order "How
much would Priority Mail cost". I sent a message to the Dutch member that
I've the same question for you (as I was heading to Amsterdam the following
week). I ended up mailing the order from a post office in Amsterdam.
