Does this mean that the catalogue team has to go in and note all of these variations
and how has no one come across these in the past? Either way, great job getting
to the bottom of it.

Should:

have the word "Donut" somewhere in the description?

Seems odd that it doesn't considering:

Yeah, the order that came in just a box really surprised me, I don't think
there were many missing pieces though, its always a little nerve wracking to
open an order like that... You are correct, I am basically set for life when
it comes to little baggies.

I would fall into this category:

  - some buyers who want it at least a little sorted

I've gotten 1200+ piece orders that had all the parts put together loosely
into a cardboard box that was taped shut... I've also gotten 1200+ piece
orders that had every lot individually bagged (more than 120 separate baggies).
I definitely prefer the parts bagged up vs loose in a box but I'm totally
fine with having like a dozen lots, depending on what parts they are, mixed together
in the same bag. If I placed an order for 200 pieces that was 10 lots, I would
have no problem if they were all in one baggie, after all, everything needs counted
one way or another. I also look at it this way, an official LEGO set that
has say 350 pieces is usually going to have like 3, maybe 4 bags of pieces in
it all mixed together, and we all seem to be fine with that.

It looks like this Bricklink store has a good selection regarding minifig parts
and accessories, may be worth checking them out. (I'll be honest, I only
looked at the larger sellers in the Queensland region of Australia, not sure
if that's necessary but...)

Do you have any unofficial LEGO-selling stores in your area? The city I live
in has a store that sells used bulk LEGO and you can also build your own minifigs,
they also sell the minifig parts individually and they have thousands and thousands
of them... If you have anything like this I'd suggest you stop by as that
would probably be your best bet to find a large variety and the quantity you
need in one purchase... otherwise you may be placing orders from a dozen or so
different Bricklink stores and paying shipping on all those orders, not saying
you couldn't find a great selection or the quantities you want on Bricklink
but its not going to be super easy. Those are just my thoughts, others may have
better suggestions.

it doesn't look like there are
any
available right now to buy. You could always just add all the parts to a wanted
list and try to go about buying them all that way.

Man, you would think someone at LEGO would be involved in this project and should
have noticed that detail... Hopefully they fix that, seems like they have some
time before release so maybe they aren't printing them all quite yet... Would
have also been cool to get like a Classic Space Minifig with this book, especially
for $50.00.

For the Classic Space theme fans... and probably all LEGO fans in general, this
new book featuring photos and information regarding the Classic Space theme should
be a pretty good addition to your collection...

From the Amazon Pre-order listing description:

"An oversize full-color hardcover volume exploring the birth and early life
of LEGO Space-the iconic toy line that inspired imagination and exploration the
world over!"

My LEGO city is very much a work in progress but Ill snap a few pics and post

it's always fun to see what kind of layouts and custom builds people come

My family and I went to Legoland in California at the beginning of March 2019.
We loved every minute of it, we stayed in the Castle hotel and it was awesome,
great food, fun atmosphere and Lego everywhere.

My kids at the time we went were 7, 4 and 2. they had a blast. For the few day
we were there we were able to go on every ride many times and hit all the other
fun activities. The weather in California in March was great compared to what
it was in Southeastern Idaho at the time, it stayed around 70 degrees (fahreneit
) while we were there, compared to the 40 degree average at home. We chose
to go that time of year to avoid the spring break and summer crowds (and the
hot weather) and it really paid off. I wanted to take the kids to Disneyland
this coming spring or summer but with the rising prices I cant really convince
myself to do it so I think we will be heading back to Legoland in the next year
or so. If anyone has the chance to go I highly recommend it.

(sorry, not great pictures, but I have very few that dont have my kids in them)

I don't sell Lego, but I do collect a lot for building my Lego City and to
just collect... When I come across really yellowed or discolored bricks I put
them in a separate bin (not garbage bin) to be used for the internals of MILS
plates or in mountains or hills, same with parts that are dinged or chewed on
if they still attach to other pieces. If they are cracked or broken I just toss
them into the actual garbage bin, I used to put them in a zip-loc baggie hoping
I'd do something with them someday but they just collected dust so I toss
them now. When I get a gallon size zip-loc full of off brand (not Mega, I keep
that) I give it away to a thrift store.

I tend to avoid sellers with a bunch of duplicate lots, in fact I ran into a
store yesterday that had up to like 8 lots for some pieces and they all had different
prices for the same parts both new and used (had like 4 used lots of the same
part, all priced different, same for the new lots)... yikes, seemed like a cluttered
mess and I moved on without buying anything from them... I'm sure there are
people that don't care at all about this and I have purchased from a couple
sellers that do it but its just easier to shop a Bricklink store when all the
same used pieces are listed together and all the same new pieces are listed together.

I'm with you, In my experience over the years USPS has been great (granted,
I'm not shipping or receiving at even close to the volume some Bricklink
members are). Occasionally an order may take an extra day to arrive but I've
always been made aware. I even received an order from Montreal Canada yesterday
that only took 7 days to get to me in Idaho (shout out to both Canada Post and
USPS on that one). With the volume the USPS deals with on a daily basis I have
to tip my hat to them...

So does this somehow explain why there always seems to be a couple Playmobile
figures in just about every bulk lot of used LEGO that I buy...?

Not really just 1x4's and 1x2's but here are a few pictures of a PAB
cup I got a while back. The first pic is the cup after I spent some time packing
every nook and cranny, the second pic is after I dumped it out and sorted it
and the third pic is how much would have fit if I had just scooped pieces and
poured them into the cup.

Gotta love the "discounts", the sale prices will still be more than past MSRP
. The silver lining in this situation was that... technically, I saved about
$30.00 on these sets so naturally I had to use those saving on another set .

My seven year old son and I have been collecting the new wave of Jurassic World
Sets since they hit the shelves a while back. I had purchased all of them except
the two "expensive" sets (76949 & 76950). I was at Walmart yesterday and again
walked by those two sets on the shelf thinking that I would pick them up in another
week or two... Yesterday the price stickers on the shelf showed 76949 @ $129.99
and 76950 @ $79.95. I happened to again be at Walmart today, and obviously found
myself down the Lego isle. I glanced at those two Jurassic World sets and noticed
the pricing had changed... The stickers now show 76949 @ $140.00 (Increase of
$10.00) and 76950 @ $100.00 (Increase of $20.00). While we all knew this price
increase was coming, I would have liked it to wait until it was convenient for
me . Luckily I had both of those sets in my online cart and the price their
hadn't changed so I ordered them. I'm sure there were other increases
as well but those two sets were the only ones I noticed...

I'm with you, when something like this is so easily counterfeit or copied
and also has no way to really verify authenticity, I just think its best to stay
away completely.

I'm trying to figure out which minifig body this is, I know the Armor breastplate
and helmet probably don't belong with the head, torso and legs. I tried Google
lens with no luck. I don't have a picture of it right now without the helmet
and Armor on. Thank you

Hello everyone, I know almost nothing of English, I use the site by translating
it
with chrome. I have questions

1) how does the search for pieces work, that is, I have a list of all pieces
of
old set from the 80s / 90s, I looked for a few pieces and I would also have found,
but I would like
understand if there was a way to put all the pieces I am looking for in a list,
and the site itself tells me which and how many pieces are available from it
salesperson ?
I mess up with that, that is, I look for the piece but the next piece as I can
to know if the same seller has it? without searching for a piece.

2) if there was this possibility above, it would be possible to have one as well
comparison between the different sellers on the pieces / prices, and on which
one automatically,
has
the best prices on my entire parts list?

I hope I have explained.
Thanks to those who will answer or even just read.
Good day

I liked Lego Worlds but I think there was a lot of wasted potential, they stopped
supporting the game way to short. I love building but the limitations of the
specific bricks really annoy me. I also love Lego Star Wars TCS, it has a silly
charm to it

Yeah, Lego Worlds could have been much better, the controls are just too complicated
in my opinion. I was pretty sad when Lego Dimensions was discontinued, I enjoyed
collecting all the different character and level packs. I do like the Lego Star
wars games as well, they do have some pretty funny cut scenes and what not. I
am pretty excited for the Skywalker Saga to come out. Cant decide if I should
get it on Switch or Xbox one.

Definitely, We have almost all of them on either Nintendo Switch or Xbox 360/
One. Our favorites have been Lego Harry Potter (both), Lego Batman (all), Lego
Dimensions and Lego City Undercover. Lego Worlds is fun but can be difficult
depending on what you want to do. Overall they are pretty fun, I like checking
out all of the different Lego builds within the games.

I was at the LEGO store in Murray Utah last month and that PAB wall was open,
I was able to pack those cups how I pleased.

I'd love to get feedback on my splash page from buyers at Bricklink. I'd
like to understand a little bit of what's going through your mind if I made
the splash page the default tab when a buyer comes to my store.

The first 10 users to let me know their thoughts in this thread will receive
a 10% off coupon to my store.

Primarily, I'm looking for feedback on if the splash page makes you want
to stay on my store and shop or if it's annoying and you want to leave and
go to another store right away.

To participate:

1. Navigate to https://store.bricklink.com/ralphs_bricks&utm_content=globalnav#/splash
2. Come back and reply to this message with your thoughts and feedback.
3. I'll issue you a coupon whether the feedback is good or bad

Sincerely,

I think its pretty cool, I've never seen anything like that on another shops
Splash... Not sure why it would turn anyone away from your shop, I certainly
wouldn't shy away because of it.
