hi,Kristoffer

in paypal there is a setting to notify you with email that payment came in.
if the buyer used banktransfer [IBAN] it can take a workday [except weekends]
to show up on your bank account.

hi,
in my shop this is not a problem but only when agreed at first contact.
but...
when I have a buyer like you have rigt now and also does not respond to messages
,a possibility is set the order status on ''packed''.
Then the buyer can not add anymore to the existing order and then block him/her
temporary untill he/she reacts to the messages
if not...after 6 days start NPB

kind regards,Hans

In Selling, MWBD writes:
  Hi,

I currently have a buyer who started their order on May 24th (new account, 1
feedback). They chose IBAN as a payment option, but have since added new batches
to the order every 3-5 days and have not paid. The order date keeps changing
with every new batch added.

I repeatedly tried communication with the buyer. I also waived the shipping costs
on the invoice, in case that is their cause for trying to get the order as big
as possible (shipping was 6€). Never got an answer from the buyer.

Is this common? Can I do anything against it?
Is this technically a case for NPB? Because with every new batch added their
7 days get reset?
Or can I simply stoplist the buyer while the order is ongoing?

hi,
cant't please them all

but ..yes...it should have been in the discription,if there was none the buyer
expects good products and no flaws
I do not know how the communication went?..did you offer a solution?

normaly the buyer can send it back and get refunded...or send replacements that
are good [even if YOU have to buy them somewhere]
this feedback he/she gave suggests that no solution was offered by you.

giving a negative back is retaliation...and that is never a good idea
if the buyer is nice and pays quick..he/she deserves a positive
no matter the feedback you received

if the negative is unreasonable and you offered solution and did your best, you
can leave a 'reply'on the negative with a sort of explanation or appology

both not
Ploand is EU so indeed no borders..
but indeed no onsite payment...but never needed it for Poland

and not even nearly 10K...the year is starting
[happened to me in november,so blocked for the EU for a month]
still no Poland...the rest of all country's is no problem

the mystery continues untill now

If BrickLink is to collect VAT or other taxes, you must have an Onsite payment
method enabled in your shop. (And then be sure your buyer does not pay you directly.)

Could this be the issue?

Nope.  As both Netherlands and Poland are in EU, there’s no border, so no import/export,
no import VAT for BL to collect.

What could happen is that Hans is near the €10k intra-EU limit… but then all
countries in EU (but the Netherlands) would be blocked until he registers to
OSS, and he says other countries are okay.

hi,
I have received a message from a regular customer from Poland, that i suddenly
do not ship to poland anymore,
I did not change anything in my settings...and when I check ..I still have the
option to ship to Poland active..
the Dutch postalservice did change poland to eurozone 2 in stead of eurozone
3,but this should not have any effect..since i do not have any problems with
other country's from zone 2 or 3
does someone know how to check what is wrong?

opened up since Januari again...and almost all Europeans came back..
but now I get messages from Polish buyers that I do not ship to them...[anymore]
In ''my shipping settings'' i do ship to Poland...
so I cannot see what could be the problem

so..

każdy polski kupujący może sprawdzić, czy ma ten sam problem ??

hi,
probably the outcome to that will be;
buyer has to send the item back and pay for shippingcost him/herself
and as soon as you receive it the buyer gets full refund of the set.
your loss will be the value of the set that is no longer sealed,[sorry]

well maybe the tone is a bit direct,
but personaly I prefer this so I have a chance to fix it..
I got 5 neutrals for tiny errors, without any communication or chance to fix it.
and also reaching out to them with an offer to fix it did not help.
just appologize ,send the two missing parts and maybe a small extra to make up
for it.
the mistake in shortage was yours at first...right?

it is possible to polish the yellowing off by using a slightly damp rubber sponge

the only downside is that the gloss also decreases and becomes a bit matte

It was an opinion that time...and a seller should live with that and move on.
if a new buyer checks out the feedback and checks the neutrals/negatives of the

hi,
just an idea
with some non paying buyers you just know''they are never going to pay''
but while the NPB is running at my store, they can order at another shop and do
the same
there and at dozens of shops for a week and waste a lot of time...

what about when a NPB is initiated, give the ''buyer'' a temporary
negative feedback with the text''NPB in progress''[and delete
it if paid ofcourse]

then other sellers are warned what to expect and can avoid or prepare
is this a stupid idea or possibility ?..[I can take hard honest answers]

hi,
Yes...I did buy some of their figures [starwars characters that lego did not
make then]
but it was many years ago.
just checked the site again and .oh.man...the have so much now.
back then they had maybe 10% of what they offer now.
and yes..they use real lego as basis but the custom heads/headgear is just hard
plastic like the fake lego, but good quality as far as I remember
but over the years I got radical and dumped all un-real stuff.
and valueble as lego?...I think not..it is more for fun to have characters that
lego does not make

In General, Bfbrinkley writes:
Never heard of this person/group and can't find much on their products. It
appears they use mostly Lego and they customize the rest? Anyone have any experience
with their products and if they're as valuable as Lego brand? Thanks!

hi,
t.m.o, a seller should give feedback first as a result of quick payment and/or
good communication...before shipping
[unless the order is paid after an NPB alert..then i wait untill it is received]
and the buyer then can have a choice what was his/her expierience and leave feedback
or not

but the feedback system is not working as it should,
it can be used for pressure/blackmail retaliation as well from both sides
maybe it is time for a new concept

hi,
my suggestion is list it as '' 3mm too long''
a buyer can cut it shorter if he/she wants.
with listing it ''3 mm too short'' is text that can be overlooked
and can lead to dissapointment

In Selling, Hurt writes:
  Hi everyone!

I have a black "Hose, Rigid 3mm D." that is 259mm long.

The next matching sizes would be a "32L" (256mm) or a "33L" (264mm).

Both are available in black. How do you list such things? As 32L (saying that
it's 3mm too long) or as 33L (saying that it's 5mm too short). As 33L
is more expensive (about 2-3 times for the "Used" variant) than the 32L (in black),
I don't want to upset any possible buyers).

But the thing is: I'm almost 100% sure that it's 33L, because I have
a Lego box with many parts of set 7418 (the only set where the black 33L appears),
but I don't see any of the sets where the 32L in black appears.

Links:

Part No: 75c32 Name: Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 32L / 25.6cm
*
75c32 Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 32L / 25.6cm
Parts: Hose, Rigid 3mm D. {Black}

Part No: 75c33 Name: Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 33L / 26.4cm
*
75c33 Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 33L / 26.4cm
Parts: Hose, Rigid 3mm D. {Black}

Thanks!

2335p43 has a more round bottom
2335pb001 has a pointier bottom

hold them next to eachother and then you can clearly see the difference

other way

I have no experience in catalog or inventory requests though

noticed later when trouble began, this shop has buyer privelige already revoked
and SO MANY negative feedback in short notice
just in one week 3 positive ,3 neutral and 11 negative..and the week has just
began
In my case the same as with many...refunded after NSS to avoid NSS completed.
is there no alarm bell ringing at admin even though he avoids NSS completed?

https://www.bricklink.com/feedback.asp?u=Koevoets23

I too had a recent bad experience in this store, same story as all others: long
shipping time, fake promises, etc. I also strongly believe this seller only shipped
my order after my inquiry where it was two weeks after being set to 'shipped'
status.

In my case it was eventually delivered, but about 25% of parts were the wrong
color. Sent them back immediately at the sellers request but in the few weeks
after promise after promise the correct parts would be shipped out soon. When
I placed my order there were only a few recent neutrals stating the shipping
time was long (which was ok for me) but by now (5 weeks later) all the negatives
started pouring in so at some point I also just filed a NSS.

Fortunately this forced the seller to act and I eventually received a partial
refund (which I agreed to) with lots of nonsense messages why this is how I 'thanked'
the seller for shipping my order and paying for the return and then (supposedly)
shipping the other parts. You have to wonder if this person genuinely doesn't
see the issue when dozens of NSS claims start pouring in...

I retracted the NSS. Didn't really want to deal with this person anymore
and just finalize the order and be done with it. Didn't leave feedback myself
as I just expect a retaliatory like others have received. I agree it's a
rather difficult issue if sellers like this can continue their practices.

More alarming however, going from two of the recent feedback, this seller now
seems to cancel potential problem orders in advance so no NSS can be filed by
the buyer?? If this is true it would definitely warrant direct intervention from
Admin in my opinion.

these are sets that use trans dark pink

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4073&in=S&colorID=50&ov=Y

but it happens that some colors are made in different locations/molds
and some color difference appears

happens a lot ..especialy with pearl gold and trans orange
I think that has happened also with trans dark pink..maybe less paint in the
machine
and the birth of trans pink ??

sometimes i was sure i put it in an order and later discovered it was misplaced
but...
if you are right and it WAS in the order..then what to do

you have 2 options

re send the parts and loose 7 pound
or wait for an NSS /paypalclaim and refund all and therefor loose all

happens to us all one day
like in an actual shop..sometimes a thief walkes in

tip..make a picture of all items spread out before sending

disagree !!

with his sometimes weird answers, and posts about ''what happened''
who's died'' and who is having a birthday.. funny and different ...and
for me when reading always a smile on my face.
seems to me a man that ''thinks outside the box'' and therefor
an asset

hi,
I had some succes with a blow dryer and peeling it off with the fingers.
alcohol can cause a reaction with the glue and give discoloration.

  Hello from Greece,

My first time at the forum...Ive just received the 2000414 that I ordered about
over 2 months ago and thats because it was out of stock. As I can see on the box
it says that it has 234 pieces in it,while on the previous box it was written
219 pieces.I havent opened it yet to see what parts are new in it,I wanted just
to tell this to you.

but the ligt gray ones are a bit flexible like they should be,and the lighter

hi
i found some modified plates with the same flaws as brittle blue parts
the color is lighter and not equal and the parts break easy.
official lego logo so original so far.
is this common? since i have never seen it before
