Just wanted some advice! I have someone who wants to sell me 75053 for $325 factory
sealed but a damaged box. Is that a good deal, I would resell it on my store
but I don’t have too much knowledge on that set, any advice would be greatly
Appreciated!

Here's a strange one....
Just acquired 2 older sets that are semi-sealed. By that I mean that due to age,
the clear, roundish lego sealing tape (on the sides) has pulled away from one
side (on both sets).
Because of this, you can actually get into the boxes, but everything inside is
sealed/new.
Also, there is a number printed on the clear lego tape...anyone know what that
number means?
Any opinions on whether the tape drying out is common on older but new sets?
thanks for anything!

Hello,

I was just looking at the value of this set and there seems to be something wrong
with the price guide, or a really great sale for a seller. $457? Supposed to
be $45.70 maybe? Never seen something as crazy as this before.

Thanks, Noah

Hi gang!

So, I've been eyeballing this part :

Part No: 65803 Name: Technic, Brick 16 x 16 x 1 1/3 with Holes
*
65803 Technic, Brick 16 x 16 x 1 1/3 with Holes
Parts: Technic, Brick

For some time ...

I build a lot of Classic Space(stations) and since having moved away from baseplates
I use a combination of platelayer + bricklayer + platelayer to create my own
"baseplates" with Technic holes at the ends to make a modular setup

These 16x16 thingies, mostly used in mosaic sets, are pretty close to that so
I've bought some for testing

Since they're invisible (I will put a layer of tan plates on top so the colour
doesn't matter to me), I've bought five new ones in lavender (cheapest
colour)

But they're all very clearly warped!

All five in the same maner

Is this a known problem with this part?

Now, I haven't build anything with them yet so they may straighten out with
some weight on the top?

Cheers,

Ole

Hi all. I have a sealed Lego 1065 set which has been in the loft for any years.
Box is squashed and worn but could be interesting to a collector? Thoughts on
how best to sell it?

Also I can weigh the box if anyone wants to update its page on this website?

I've read that the 32198 has problems when being stressed.
And the 87407 is said to be more stable.
(Probably due to the extended hub bushing)

Would you say, that one should use the 87407 over the 32198 whenever possible?
Or in other words: Unless you have space restrictions, is the 87407 flat out
the better choice?

I'm basically asking, because I'm unsure what gear I should extend my
stock on to build future models with.
I'm trying to reduce alternative items and only get the better (not necessarily
newer) version now.
Because when I re-started my LEGO "carreer", I didn't really know
what I was doing and bought a lot of old parts, where I later learned, that better
and cheaper alternatives exist.

I might be late on this one but I have a 3937 hinge brick that the two sides
where the pivot goes are opposite. I can put the hinge piece in but it will not
go down because the right, facing it, is backward. The date on the bottom is
4-14. not sure what set it was from as i bought a bunch and am sorting them.

I bought a lot on eBay that had quite a few used Fabuland figures. I haven't
delved too deeply into these since new sets are so difficult to get, but I always
liked them. Several of the figures I got have asymmetrical hands. The thumb
side is smaller than the fingers side. They have LEGO stamped inside their legs,
but I guess it is possible that their hands have been transplanted with something
fake. It doesn't seem super likely, but I don't see anything about the
variant with a quick google search. I thought it might have been a production
change over time, so I checked a couple of the ones in question against Bricklink
photos and the hands on Bricklink are not the variant.

Hello guys, I heard that Bricklink knows Lego well, so I'm asking here.
I saw these minifigures on the internet. Probably Ronin and Cable.
I'm looking for the common hair of the minifigures in the picture. But I
couldn't see this hair.
Do you know the product that contains this hair, or its part number?

(I'm new to Bricklink. Please let me know if my question is wrong.)

I've always thought Mr. Mark Hamill Skywalker was rather - I shouldn't
say ugly- but this new hair mold LEGO has released does a remarkable job of
portraying him in all of his "glory." I hope it's not too expensive
on Bricklink when it is released.

I just recently got a newer pirate ship set that included a skeleton & noticed
the legs & arms are stiff. The ones I had as a kid had loose legs, they couldn't
stand up. I'm just curious if anyone knows when LEGO switched from wobbly
legs to stand-able legs. Cheers.

This has to be the most boring LEGO set ever, other than you being able to spin
the wheel to release the hot coals and role your Obi-Wan figure in it to torture
him?........ The set itself is just s base plate, and for the price of 30 dollars,
this, compared to the star fighters that you can buy for the same, or similar
price is pretty lame.

And don't get me wrong, the rocky texture does look cool, but the fact that
it costs so much for so little, is pretty awful. You'll notice that a good
portion of the listings here on BL actually are missing the minifigures, because
the seller just wanted them.

Does anyone recall any news on which bank this set was modeled after. I know
that banks of this time were in a sense typical in design but what floored me
as humorous was I've been re-watching the Old X-files TV series from the
90s and just last night was up to Season 6 Ep 14 (Monday) While watching I was
like WOW that looks like the Brick Bank model. Upon further imagines its clear
it not the same but made me wonder which one was the original idea taken from...

I didn't do an exhaustive search on google but, looking around I didn't
exactly come across anything to say yep!

Any thoughts?

As a long time Masters of the Universe fan, I have loved Mattel's recent
MOTU origins line. And now that LEGO has created the awesome Creator Expert Optimus
Prime build, it's about time that they made a MOTU line! KRE-O has made some
cool He-Man sets, but their design technic is inferior when compared to LEGO.

Hi guys.
Sadly, I was not around when the old LEGO Technic figures were still produced.
These tall guys.
But I re-started my LEGO journey a couple months ago.
Now I bought one of those figures, but couldn't find out, how to properly
seat it.
What seat can those guys be placed in?
Does the 2717 work? (I don't have one to try)
Or do you need to build it from scratch?
Any example I could use as reference? An old model number or something?

Hi there. I just got a large minifig display, and I’ve managed to fill it with
182 Star Wars figs. I’d like to label each one with their name and number (and
release date, though that’s pushing it), but I haven’t found an efficient and
aesthetically pleasing way to do this. Each fig is on a 3x4 plate with 4 studs,
so one issue is space; I don’t want to cover their bodies by putting a brick
in front of them. Each shelf is 3” tall, and adding anything bulky underneath
wouldn’t allow room for weapon or accessories. The second issue is how to maybe
print the info on a tile. I don’t think there is a place where I can order 182
unique stickers to put on tiles. Printing and taping or gluing is tedious and
it doesn’t look great. Has anyone found a way to accomplish this?

Why make a series of collectable things... A series of 8 collectable things...
A series of things in sealed boxes so you are definitely going to need to buy
multiples to complete the set and then...

Brickset isn’t too happy….

I think I may buy it at discount to turn it into a modular record store. That’s
the only reason I’d ever buy it. It’ll most likely go into discount faster than
the queer eye set. (And don’t tell me it didn’t.)

Anyway, what do y’all think? I’m extremely unhappy with Lego ideas right now,
so I am not even gonna say anything about this monstrosity…. 😂

Hello,

I have a question about performance.

Example: Capt. Rex phase 2

What makes this character so special? It is not difficult to get (not rare),
there are hundreds of offers on various platforms.

Apparently, it hardly sells for 100 EUR + X.

Why is this price (alleged value) then, although there seems to be hardly any
group of buyers at this price?

Supply (sufficient for EUR 100 and more) and demand (hardly/little at a price
of EUR 100 and more) regulate the price. Based on this understanding, shouldn't
the price actually fall again?

Hi,

I'm curious if set 66647 (Speed Champions Bundle Pack with 75890 75891) was
offered anywhere. I tried to reach Lego support, but they said that product availability
over regions is confidential, and they cannot say where it was offered. I did
not find it also anywhere in online stores. Usually, there are old pages with
sold out stock status, but not for this one.

So, has anyone seen it?

Going through some old legos I bought years ago and cataloging them. I’ve searched
and haven’t been able to locate info on the piece in the pic. It looks like it
goes with something else.

Thanks again,
Steve

Hello all,

This is my first post to this forum. I did search for this topic but did not
find answers.

Ever since I reconnected with my Lego hobby, I have seen Powered Up components.
Some of the old Lego trains I purchased from sellers here, I bought without Power
Functions and added Powered Up components to make it run. I am now wondering
what people use most: Powered Up or Power Functions and which is better. I would
loved to hear your comments on this.

Best regards,
Prashant

Hi folks,

I just checked out the reopened pick a brick shop on LEGO's official website.
They reopened after winter break and increased the amount of variety a lot.
Still not every kind of part available, but quiet a lot.
Looks like LEGO become a serious competitor in selling individual bricks.
I compared some prices. Some are way cheaper, some more expensive than BL average.
Gonna be interesting future for BL sellers I guess.
What do you think about? Do Lego offer this service also for US market?

The blue fig in the center is a Christmas ornament that came out late last year
from Hallmark. Not pose-able and all glued together. Already selling for double
retail on eBay. Pretty cool though.

For scale, the red fig is a flashlight keychain and the brown fig is the new
CMF.

So I acquired a Vintage 1960’s Lego Building Set No. 205 and despite looking
Online for information and it's actual worth I have come up empty handed.

It has over 205 pieces so clearly it's got some extra pieces but it seems
all the original pieces are accounted for. Any help would be appreciated

Hi folks. I think we should all get together and show Lego that they would be
absolutely insane not to re issue the 9 volt train motor. I know there are a
lot of us out there who would buy them, and I dare say NEED them. We just need
to present a case to Lego showing them that there is no way that they would not
make a lot of money from the investment to get those machines working again.

Hello,
I was wondering if Lego has been running behind or not producing enough
sets lately due to the COVID supply chain issues. I'm an avid Ninjago figure
collector and I noticed that the 2022 figures have been very limited on bricklink
compared to previous years of figures. There is not one Golden Oni Lloyd figure
(njo774) in North America while a few are available in Europe. Can we expect
more supply to hit the U.S. or is this pretty much the situation with the Lego
production market at this time? What are your thoughts?

I've been wondering, was there a design flaw or something that made LEGO
abandon the smaller worm gear in favor of older version that used more plastic?
Since making new mold to produce parts can be costly, some thousand dollars
or so.

New here. Wife had an old tote chock full of Lego's that I am going through
before we give them to our grandkids. There is a sealed plastic bag with brand
new Lego's in it, but nothing on the bag gives any clue as to what set it
goes to. I took a couple of pictures o the larger pieces. The pictures are taken
through the plastic so its difficult to see the whole piece, but can anyone identify
what this is or what set it goes to? The first piece is a bronze or copper color
and the other one is dark gray. TIA!

Went into the LEGO store earlier today. Bare shelves and the staff tried to compensate
by spreading out sets instead of leaving them behind one another.

Then I went on the site tonight and so much of it is out of stock or on backorder.

I guess it kinda makes sense since it's only just after the New Year but
I was hoping to have more of a selection available so that I could get the promotion
set. I could always support small businesses and order what I'm wanting on
BrickLink I guess.

Set was released yesterday in Japan and is already showing up on eBay at very

Happy New Year!

So, I drove about 45 min this morning to wait in line at a LEGO store and try
and get a modular. There were 30-40 people waiting and the store had 14 sets
available. Did they dole these out carefully first-come-first served? Nope. They
'held' them behind the register and you could buy one when you got there.
Of course, there were two lines moving at different speeds. And then, some people
decided to just reach behind the counter, take a set, and then get back in line.
LEGO employees did nothing to stop this. The person in front of me got the last
available set. There were two people in line behind me holding sets they hadn't
purchased yet. Nice system LEGO. It was a painful reminder of why I stopped going
to their stores.

Also, who would risk an entire year's worth of bad karma by doing something
like that on New Year's Day? I am keeping my share of good luck and will
wait (impatiently) for my set to arrive from shop@home.

I'm trying to find some information on a probably never released set from
either 1978 or 1979. There's photos of a Hospital on the road baseplates
sleeve from 1979. It's not a European set, as none of the promo info from
the time has t and some of the parts look unique to it, so I don't think
it's from a basic set either.

It's one I want to build and I just want some additional info if I can get
it.

Many thanks.

£15-£16.

Any thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone has come across this and if there's an explanation

One shade is slightly yellower i guess.

I bought and completed 8460. It was missing every part of the ”thing” on instructions

What is it (there are two of them)? It doesn’t seem to become used.

I just proved my rules once again. If you are pulling an order and a lot is missing
and you’ve spent 20 minutes looking around and trying to figure out where it
could be, it is time to check again where it was supposed to be. Legos tend to
double back while you are looking for them.

Hey ho,

(first if this post is in the wrong forum please move it to the right one Iam
still a newbie ^^)

I wanted to ask which Technic sets are worth exploiting?

I would like to have engine elements such as pistons, cylinders, etc.
1 or 2 electric Lego motors would not be wrong either.

I ask for Technic SETS, i know i could also buy piston, engine stuff separately,
but i don't have a Lego collection yet, apart from a few showcases
models (which I don't want to slaughter) I want start Technic collection
or test laboratory with that.

If there is a good and cheap (I know Lego + cheap = LOL) way
to get to piston engines and at the same time a few extra Technic
Parts such as gears, rods etc. why not?

Price per set maximum in the 50€ range but would perfer 20€ - 30€ range

Thank you for the in advance

*
7398 (Inv) Clock Set, Belville Fairy Castle
Gear: Clock: Belville

I just got this probably. This one has been opened, so I just don't have
an airtight case here, but the box says 4168037 just like

Gear No: 4168037 Name: Clock Set, Belville
*
4168037 (Inv) Clock Set, Belville
Gear: Clock: Belville
and

Gear No: 4168037b Name: Clock Set, Belville Fairy Castle
*
4168037b (Inv) Clock Set, Belville Fairy Castle
Gear: Clock: Belville
.
I can't find anything that says 7398. The box itself is identical to the
box of 4168037b and so it is technically possible that someone has reconstituted
it. The box shows Fairy #6. B has Fairy #4 and this one I just got has Fairy
#9 and at a glance all the pieces found in the 7398 inventory.

Can anyone fill any gaps?

Gee, thanks LEGO for packing these new, fun, smooth parts in a bag with lots
of plates and bricks. You really know your audience.

As promised here are the minfigures. Had to get better photos of them that’s
why I’m uploading them now instead of earlier today.

The giraffe is me.

SylvainS is the one with the Satyr legs

The one with the tile on their head is 1001bricks

What do you think?

I’ll get around to making some more in the next few days. Maybe Cycbuild and
Jennifer?

[p=3069bpb1015] doesn't have a werewolf. Is that in the title just in case
someone thinks it is a werewolf and searches it?

The picture is how the grim appears in tea leaves when doing divination.

Minifig No: hp356 Name: Professor Dolores Umbridge - Dark Pink Jacket with Cat Scarf
*
hp356 (Inv) Professor Dolores Umbridge - Dark Pink Jacket with Cat Scarf
Minifigures: Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows
is only named Dolores Umbridge on the set box and the set is from The
Deathly Hallows. She isn't a professor anymore and I don't feel like
her stint at Hogwarts really characterizes her career like the ones that worked
there for decades.

She is actually Senior Under-Secretary to the Minister of Magic.

Hi,

Have seen a method for cleaning lego using peroxide - does anyone know if this
works on black coloured bricks? I have some where its clear there is a distinct
difference in colour where a block was removed

Thank you

So I got in a bulk shipment yesterday, and as I was sorting through them, a lot
of them felt like "Fego" aka Fake Lego. Usually I'm pretty good at either
seeing or feeling the difference almost immediately, but these threw me off.
They don't feel like LEGO, but they say LEGO, but I can't find any regular
LEGO numbers on them...

anyone else had this recently??
