  Hi!
Is there a possibility to export all orders from my store? (from the beginning)
I can only export orders that a have done. But it would be nice if i could get
an overview of all the sales from my store.

Or is there a customer support available - maybe they can help me in this case?

Thanks in advance.

You can download all your overall order info on the download page here:

https://www.bricklink.com/orderExcel.asp?orderType=received

That is just basic information though (Order ID, date, Buyer User ID, Order Total,
etc.); as has already been stated, you can only get the full details of the last
6 months of sales...

Recently placed 21 orders, mostly small.

Received 11 so far.

Basic results to date :

3 perfect

8 with issues.

Issues range from bite marks, stress marks, strange wear problems and wrong colour.

In excess of 20 heads with bite marks of varying severity and one missing altogether.

Issues with headgear, hair and legs.

Not happy.

Let’s see what the other 10 look like.

I’m aware that some stores have notes in their terms as to possible marks but
none of the individual parts had a note, I purposely excluded any that had when
searching.

Spent a lot of time sourcing parts to avoid issues and now I’m going to spend
more time sorting this out and almost certainly trying to reorder the damaged
parts.

What’s the betting even these will have faults.

I think this is the main reason why my Buyers keep coming back to my store; even
when they pay a premium compared to other Sellers of used items, they are typically
extremely happy with the quality of the used parts they receive from me...

In my opinion, quality counts for everything; and although it can be subjective,
if you can understand the disappointment of receiving less-than-satisfactory
used parts when you were counting on them to use in a unique MOC (as I have experienced
here as a Buyer), you undoubtedly understand how critical it is to make sure
you are not selling those types of less-than-satisfactory parts to your Buyers
who would have the same feeling of disappointment when received... in essence,
never sell items that you would not want to receive yourself if you were the
Buyer (& if you do, make sure you clearly note the damage in the part listing!).

Just looking at this guy's MOC and like these way he's created that bridge
of blocks that curves back from the cockpit.

I'm a bit dim so can't see how he's done it.

Anyone know the peices required to replicate the effect?

Cheers guys.

Looks like one of these on the sides:

Can't see the inner-workings though, so I have no clue how they're attached
inside (though I can think of several ways of doing so using various hinges)...

These pieces were to go into sets that I had planned to sell once complete. Obviously,
I cannot use them and will have to source them from another shop.

If you received these in an order and they had not been listed with any damage
mentioned, would you request a refund?

I do understand that used is used and can have scratching, but the black brick
has been melted and the red brick has deep scratches, and the corner is rounded.

Cass T

First, I would not list items in that condition without providing an explanation
in the listing... If, for some reason, I missed the damage and listed them in
my store without a description, then missed seeing the damage when I packed and
shipped them, I would expect the Buyer to be pretty irritated (hopefully, they'd
notify me, so I could offer to send replacements or give a full refund for the
error)... so, if you haven't, I suggest you reach out to the Seller, and
give them the opportunity to make it right...

That said, if you are still without the parts after communicating with the Seller,
feel free to send me a message referencing this discussion; I believe I have
spares of each of those items (I'll need to check my thousands of unsorted
bricks to find a red 8 x 16, but I'm pretty sure I saw one the other day;
and, according to my store inventory, I have plenty of the black 12 x 24s as
well); I'd be happy to give you a good deal for them both if you don't
get replacements from the other Seller...

Thank you, Ed. I was actually at your shop today pricing out some things so this
would work well for me. I know for a fact that the seller I bought these from
do not have others listed and if I can avoid paying for international shipping
again, I would be very happy.

Cass T

Just let me know, and I can reserve them for you; I was able to find 4 of the
red 8 x 16s in my unsorted items, and though they all are used, they each definitely
have that "new-ish" shine to them...

Worthy of reporting to Bricklink? I have not responded to this valued customer
of Bricklink as of yet. These kind of messages never seem to be sent via the
Bricklink platform.

Sounds like he may have had one or more bad experiences with previous sellers.
If he was my customer I would calmly explain that there is no need to threaten
a negative since I will always correct any errors. However, I certainly wouldn't
be eager to leave any feedback for him until I saw what he left for me.

Concur with this; that Buyer's message seems to point to previous bad experiences
with other Sellers who may have either not responded at all, refused to admit
their mistake, or a variety of other bad experiences I have even had with the
occasional Seller here on the site...

If they were one of my Buyers, my preferred action would be to simply communicate
that the issue will be resolved promptly, and ship them the missing items as
soon as I could (and message them the package the tracking info)...

If you are set up for Instant Checkout and have ever had a Buyer contact you
and let you know they were trying to buy something from your store, but they
were unable to checkout, and you were confused as to why…

I use an easier solution (for me anyway):
* set up your automatic Shipping Methods,
* set up a fall back Manual Shipping method for what doesn't have size, weight,
etc.

That's it.

If that works for you...

I said "goodbye" to manual invoicing years ago, and I've been very
happy with how Instant Checkout has worked (*and* with how Instant Checkout has
reduced the number of NPBs I've had to 0 since implementing it!)...
