This set :
Contains a rather nice map on a stickersheet
I would very much like a high resolution scan of this, please
My plan is to photoshop/move the "x marks the spot" all the way up to
the nose of Jutland where I live. Then upsize it (as much as the resolution permits),
get it professionally printed, framed and hang it on my wall 
This set is not likely to ever get parted out and I don't feel like paying
150-200EUR for a stickersheet. For that amount of money I could just go to Billund
and buy the set

| Purchased an minifig for about 12SGD from this local seller (Tuahbui) about 2
years ago.
He sent the wrong item and I informed him about it. Initially he accept that
it is his fault. However, he decided to change his words after I told him to
collect it back or refund the return shipping fees.
Things escalated to PayPal. And PayPal decided to do a refund to me. Yet this
seller has been sending harassments mails for the past 2 years or so. Words which
are demeaning and highly offensive. Calling me names and label me as a scammer.
The details were sent to the admin here but nothing was done. The stop-list doesnt
work too.
How do I go about it?
Am about to file a defamation suit soon.

| Hi together,
I have not managed to connect plugged parts until now. For example, 12V rails
with the connectors on the plate (picture) or even wheels into the 12V motor.
The collision detection prevents it.
With google I did not get further. Is there a "secret" trick?

| I recently posted a few images taken with my new USB-microscope-camera-toy. I
got several messages asking for additional information, so here is a quick review
I do not have any previous experience with digital microscopes, so I got frustrated
trying to find good information to make an educated choice. In the end, I just
got one of the “Best Sellers in Lab Handheld Digital Microscopes” (currently
listed #6). The main selection criteria became 1) price, and 2) the availability
of a vertical stand that provides the possibility to adjust height precisely
(using gear wheel on gear rack). So that was a bit of a “guess this will be good
enough”-buy.
Cost:
Digital microscope ~50 euro
Stand ~25 euro
I later found out that I could have gotten that stand for free if I posted a
5 star review on Amazon.
Positive remarks
+ easy to use
+ does what I want it to do
+ I can read the smallest LEGO mould numbers now, I am amazed at what LEGO can
do now.
+ the led lights are usually good enough to illuminate your subject
Negative remarks
- the 8 lights do reflect on the object and will sometimes be visible in the
captured photo
- comes without proper stand, the default is not good enough. Sold separately
(or free if…)
- No camera raw image capture, limiting the possibilities for later editing (maybe
different webcam software would help... I don't know if any is available.)
- The center of view is in focus, at distance there is some blurring and reduced
light. (Because the short focal length this is to be expected).
- A perfect vertical mount in the universal stand is difficult. Again, “good
enough”.
- I have mine connected to my computer. It does not come with it own software,
but uses the general camera software (like a webcam).
- There is colour adjustment in that software, some colours are difficult to
capture.
- I had some problems with the image freezing, replacing the provided cable with
a new one and adjusting the computer setting that allowed the computer to shut
down usb devices for power saving seem to have almost completely fixed the problem
- It should be possible to connect the device to my phone by WIFI, but I never
used it that way. It would use the wifi connection that also connects the phone
to the internet, and I don’t want to remove that automatic connection.
Resolution:
The captured image is 3840 x 2160 pixels (~8 MP in 16:9 aspect ratio).
Placing an object under the protective cover/shield, I can fill the image frame
with 1 cm. That 1 cm is captured with 3840 pixels (long edge of the image). Placing
the object within the cover, a bit more magnification is possible.
There is a second focal point, although it is more tricky to find which shows
approximately 2.85 mm to 3840 pixels (again, object below the cover). This means
that 0.01 mm details can be seen.
At the other end, moving the microscope up to increase the field of view, I can
take an image of a 2x4 brick. I guess the maximum would be about 35 mm width
(4 studs and a bit), but then the effects of the distance from the focal point
become clearly visible.
This captured digital image can then be displayed on your phone or computer screen.
When I worked in a printshop, we advised prints of 150 pixels per inch. (Then
the print will appear to be sharp under normal viewing circumstances, assuming
that the original image was sharp.)
3840 / 150 = 25.6
25.6 inch = 65 cm
So large screens or prints should be no problem.

| Every time I start the Studio program I have to re-login despite checking the
"remember me" box. It doesn't matter if it's 5 minutes after
or a day after, it's the same issue.

| I was looking in the LEGO aisle in a Kmart store here in Australia and noticed
there was a couple of non-LEGO brand construction sets that contained some clone
pieces that looked very similar to LEGO brand bricks and slopes. They were labelled
"Dinosaur construction" on the box, and contained parts to build dinosaurs
from clone bricks.
This is just a heads-up to anyone in Australia who might sort out LEGO brick
collections they pick up at flea markets or auctions. They are not LEGO products
and cannot be sold or parted out on this site.
They were extremely similar to LEGO brick designs, on the box information it
was from China as a Kmart brand exclusive.
I left them on the shelves where they belong. I'm not going to post a link
or photos, this message is simply to alert buyers and sellers to yet another
clone brick brand that might get mixed in with genuine LEGO bricks.
I put this message in off-topic as I figured that was the appropriate place for
it.

and this is the package size
18 × 13 × 5 cm
30 g so I don't even know if its large enough for essential oil for hair
or if you can even legally sent that stuff in a tiny bubble envelope international
I told them I have it on video of me finding the part and that something must
be lost in translation or they messaged the wrong seller and am waiting to hear
back.
And yes I can confirm I never sent them essential oil for hair and I remember
shipping them this correct item as it stuck out to me as interesting as a 0 feedback
user from France who just registered and ordered 1 helmet from Canada and nothing
else so do you think this is an attempt at fraud or did something get lost
in translation

| Sammi is still hanging in there. She will not get off my desk or out of my lap.
I am so happy that she is here. We got a chemo treatment for her, but there
is no way to get the pill down her throat. It is a pill they told us not to
touch with out unprotected gloves. We decided to discontinue that because it
totally stresses her out and drives her away from us. There is a steroid pill
that we can bury in her food that does help and also makes her hungry. She has
lost a lot of weight and it is heart breaking to see her so small and frail.
I have come to accept that she will not be with us much longer and that as soon
as she is suffering it will be time.
My wife and I go to see musicales and in two weeks is Cats, (12th time I will
have seen that.) They are season tickets and bought as part of a package. I
want to go, but do not know if I can take that, it is a beautiful musical.

| I recently purchased a MOTU origins Robot (Minicomic variant) to the right, and
compared it to the previously released Roboto to the left. I noticed that the
orange one has a much more fluent gears when compared to the other, his jaw and
gears spin and move very much like the original 80's Robot, but his first
release (to the left) however sounds like he is going to break, and the gears
freeze up easily. his gears have a hard time moving and you have to push past
the (freeze up) to continue turning his waist.
I would like to know if this a production error, or Mattel fixed the issue with
their recent release. any help would be appreciated! : )

| I have just released an enhancement to Brick Seller that integrates Brickognize
with Brick Seller's Inventory Search functionality.
If you are not familiar with Brickognize, it is an image search app for Lego
parts and sets.
Basically, I've added Brickognize as another way to search for BrickLink
catalog items (along with any inventory lots). You will be taken to the Brick
Seller Inventory Detail tab when you click on one of the items returned from
Brickognize.

The BrickLink team informed me today that they will be discontinuing the discussion
forum. On June 1st, 2023, the forum will become read-only. Six months later,

| I just found out my oldest cat Sammi has cancer. She follows me around, sits
in my lap and sits on my computer desk when I am doing things. She sleeps in
my arms all night along with the 4 other cats that sleep on my legs and feet.
I cannot move for most of the night because I do not want them to leave. I
care for my cats, especially her, more than anything else except my family and
country. She helped me deal with the death of my 18 year old cat in 2008 by following
me around and insisting on being with me and has always been very vocal when
I am not home. We have a very special bond that is much stronger than I have
with my other six cats that I also love dearly.
I do not mean to use Bricklink as somewhere to lay my ills, but I am not on any
other social media and have a very small family, none of which are in El Paso.
I know that there are many cat lovers here and other pet lovers. This is the
only place to try and share my grief. For all the members that have beloved
pets cherish them as much as possible while they are with you.

| Hello,
I've been working for a few days on creating sculptures with Stud.io by importing
3D files. In the settings for sculpture building, you can specify the size of
the sculpture, and from which bricks it should be built.
If I choose the combination 1x2, 1x3 and 2x4, Studio builds the sculpture only
from the 3 single-row part types (1x1 is added automatically) and thus uses an
infinite number of parts. The 2x4 bricks do not appear at all in the finished
model.
If I select all parts, namely 1x2 to 1x8 and 2x2 to 2x8, all parts are used,
even if it does not make sense.
I had also once exclusively 2x4 selected, but then the program calculates itself
dead and builds then nevertheless everything from small single-row stones.
Does anyone know advice? Have you ever had this problem?

| 92903 and 6005 (1x3x2 curved top arch) are listed together as the same part even
though it's shown in one picture (attached below for your convenience) that
92903 is maybe half a mm lower at the mid point of the curve. Short of looking
at the tiny and hard to read number, most sellers wouldn't know which one
are which and BL doesn't separate that 2 at all. Functionally they are identical.
But so are minifig torsos with short and long rib and minifig head with blocked
open, vented, solid, and hollow stud. Yet they are separate for historical use,
people prefer to match correct part with original LEGO set when rebuilding older
sets.
I was cleaning my moc now that I've gotten a cheap purple helmet and air
tank and found my old black spacemen when I noticed one of the black and both
of the red arches stuck out a bit. That's how I found out about the minor
variant. And now my moc feels incomplete with 3 of the slightly larger 6005
Just wondering if it's practical to have 3 categories, one for verified 6005,
one for verified 92903, and one of undetermined variants, and to try and get
correct part # on future new set cataloguing? I sure wouldn't want to spend
a lot of time looking for seller that has only 92903 in red and black so my moc
has all smooth top.

| one of the common prizes was a $10 discount for voila but when you go to the
site the default is $15 off over here in Canada discounts are not usually
stackable so I'm not sure if this is an exception but probably just means
you pay $5 more to use the prize unless you've already placed more then 3
orders with them

| I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to build a Lego set.
After I finished it and ran it around for about 2 minutes checking to make sure
it worked on all 3 channels; I started thinking about how much fun I had building
it. This led me to think about my favorite theme which led me to think about

| I've downloaded a couple of .dat files from Ldraw that are still unofficial
and copied them to C:\Program Files\Studio 2.0\ldraw\UnOfficial\parts but they
don't show up in Stud.io.
What's the trick?
(I did the same for MLCad where they showed up and were useable, so it's
not a problem with the parts themselves)

| I recently sold out of some torsos I use for selling some brand new figures so
I went to buy more except the torso itself wasn’t available in qty but the torso
with no arms was and the arms and hands were all in brand new condition.
Question is can I sell it as brand new if it’s more dissembled and it’s just
a weird thing or is it not allows. (Probably won’t get the torso in question
for a while still so I haven’t done it with any yet just genuinely curious)
So for example the minifigure bag would have
Legs, torso, arms, hands, neck gear, head, headgear all separated in the bag

| I checked a summary of my orders and there is one buyer from Egypt.
I certainly never shipped to Egypt. This is a glitch of Bricklink that assumed
I had an order from Egypt because one of my buyers changed his address to Egypt
some time after I shipped to him.
Now the puzzle: how can I find who that buyer is? Just curious.
- I have checked my feedbacks. Nobody from Egypt. So we did not leave a feedback
for each other.
- there are about 200 users from Egypt. I can search their usernames, one-by-one,
in my email address. This works, assuming that buyer did not change his username
since he ordered from me.
Is there any smart way to find-out who this buyer is?

| Hello. I'm trying to update several lots in brickstore. I am just adding
remarks. If a lot had the remark field blank and I am populating it. When I
try to export the update it only shows a small portion of the updated items.
There aren't any errors when exporting and all have lotids. I've tried
with several different bunches of lots. But if I modify and export 20 lots,
only 6 show up with the reflected update after hitting the verify button. Any
ideas? Thank you!

| I am looking for help implementing authorization for the Bricklink API in R.
I have registered as a seller and obtained my keys and secrets. I have minimal
knowledge of OAuth but have previously successfully authorized with other APIs
(e.g. Spotify, Discogs, etc.) using the `httr` and `httr2` packages.
The authorization flow used by Bricklink confuses me and I am looking for help
correctly implementing it in my code. I'd prefer a solution using `httr2`
but any help is very welcome. I have also asked this question on StackOverflow
(https://stackoverflow.com/questions/75507874) but am hoping that I'll find
an answer in this community quicker.

| Not because I have received many orders, from many countries, not because I sell
some rare items (while some of you think: what matters is your profit!), because:
I received a "quote request" from a country I did not know where it was!
The name of country is Macau. This is not yet an order but this gives
a very good feeling I can provide good quality vintage sets and catalogs to such
a small country
Would you have the same feeling in my place?
P.S. Shipping costs with CanadaPost tracked (Xpress Post) would be about $113
CAD. That is too high. I don't have another shipping option so the buyer
backed up a little bit
The cheaper option is tracked on surface for about $70.
Other options via USA with ChitChats are all untracked.
NetParcel is really annoying and I have decided not to ship with them any more.
I will write another post about them to warn my fellow Canadian sellers.

| Interested to hear what others are doing besides working with the plastic brick
and reading the forum (yes, I see you do).
I prepped tonight's dinner (nasi goreng with chicken satays), made a batch
of chicken curry salad (which sounds way healthier than it is - "chicken
curry spread" would probably be a better term), now doing some home cleaning.
I was hoping to take a brisk walk outside, but it looks like there is still too
much ice on the sidewalks, and I can't risk toppling over again after two
back surgeries (if that wouldn't have killed me, my wife would have finished
the job).

I am accessing the API to get the prices of parts. I get my response for avg_price
& qty_avg_price, but the prices are different from the one shown in the price
guide. The other values are the same total_quantity & unit_quantity. Is this
because of rounding or do I have to add sometging to the prices?

I made a bit of DIY -
With 2 or more color papers. Take a few Bricks and Tiles, outline them (I cut
the inside and put another color paper below). Glue the papers together, be careful
not to put too much glue.
The Bunny is my signature !
My girlfriend was delighted
...Keep the remaining money to buy yourself (or not) a huge LEGO set :p
Of course, I do my best every day and show my Love all the time... I just wanted
to do a little thing more today for Valentine's day. No more bricks today,
I have enough to play with

Toss a few 1x1 round dark grey blue plates in to a box of ~900 flat silver 1x1
round plates.
I don't know if anyone has ever found a better way but I have to have them
all face up under bright unidirectional light in order to tell the difference.
If they're upside down I can't tell them apart.

That's why I'm posting it here because I get more feedback here.
I'm complaining about the Parts Designer app. This is very limited when it
comes to tiles. 2x3 and 2x6 tiles are not supported while these parts are in
the BL catalog for a couple of years.
Question: Why is this app not up to date with the newer tiles?
