Hi,

I'm working to add a few bionicle pieces, and I seen that flat silver color
for many pieces was changed in pearl light gray color.

Is this correct? Or is this a bug?

If is correct, is there any messahe that inform sellers about that change?

Sincerely

em

I have part 32270 (Technic, Gear 12 Tooth Double Bevel) in old gray - both Dark
Gray and Light Gray. They were clearly two different shades of the old gray colors.
All the Light Gray parts I had sold a long time ago. My Dark Gray gears aren't
moving at all.

Now I see that 32270 doesn't come in Dark Gray - officially. But a few others
have also listed this part in DARK Gray.

Why isn't this part officially listed as Dark Gray?

These two parts are extremely similar!

Couldn't they be collapsed into one part entry? I understand that they technically
have different ID numbers and maybe this means they must have different entries.
I've also been browsing all over the catalog and I've found many part
entries that have "multiple variations" (with more significant differences
than the 1mm difference between these two skis!) and even some with multiple
reference numbers.

Not totally sure how your classification system works here but if there's
room for tightening up, I think collapsing these into one would simplify part
identification with very little downside.

Thanks,
Sam

Could the dimensions be updated on this part
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=4025#T=P

currently showing as 3.2cm high and 1.04cm long/wide, but it is actually 3.2cm
long/wide and 1.04cm high.

currently calculates postage incorrectly for instant checkout as will fit large
letter, does not need small parcel post.

Thanks,

The new Satin Trans-Clear 2x4 bricks use a new mould with part number 3556.

It looks like this is a new mould for transparent bricks, and I think that we
can expect more transparent brick now LEGO is using MABS plastic and the new
mould has been made.

The mould does not have cross-supports. I guess this will look better when building
with transparent bricks, but it could be confusing in our catalog. Should we
identify this as a 3001 or 3001old (or 3001-something-new), and why?

I have this promo "board game" from 1982 that I want to put up for sale,

Part 40938, the hair to Rex is always dark brown, but in set 70849-1 it's
listed as reddish brown.

Couldn't get my submission working probably because I just couldn't figure

Pick-a-brick currently sells this part in black and white using. I have bought
two of each. The only difference I see is that they're less texturized than
the earlier variant. No part number printed on the part.

I've been a Bricklinker for many years - I joined while my kids were small.
Now that they are grown, I'm trying to organize our LEGO collection. At one
point, we had been trying to collect all of the soccer sets as we are big fans.

I noticed recently in the soccer sets that items related to a promo set were
to be deleted (alternate minifigures for a promo set.) While these items may
not be for sale on BL, they certainly exist - I may even own them, and if I don't,
I want them.

I know that many other sites (and people) consider BL to be the ultimate reference.
So I don't understand why an existing set would be deleted from the BL catalog.

Can anyone give me a good answer about this? Or at least guide me to someone
to whom I can state my case?

If items are being deleted on the site, it doesn't give me a good feeling
about being able to use this as a reference tool for my collection.

Thanks!

Hi,

I wanted to add the inventory for the unreleased game 50004 Story Mixer, but
2 Microfigures don't exist at all. I know there are unreleased parts and
sets in the catalog. Is it still possible to add these Microfigures and after
that complete the inventory ?
The Instructions already exists with every part number.

Thanks,

Hey people,
just found a

Part No: 6259  Name: Cylinder Half 2 x 4 x 4
*
6259 Cylinder Half 2 x 4 x 4
Parts: Cylinder {White}
which has the number 6218 stamped on the bottom. Is that a alternate nr. that
should be added? Got it out of a fleamarket box, so not new, but it clearly says
(c) LEGO, and looks identical to 6259, as far as I can tell.
Cheers!

Hi,
the catalog lists item 32505 to be a similar mold as 87788, but the are both
rather different. While 32505 is a little bit larger, it does not have an axle
part on the inside to attatch it to another part.

I just parted out

Set No: 8098 Name: Clone Turbo Tank

1121 Parts, 6 Minifigures, 2010
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars The Clone Wars
and all the heads for all the minifigs have an inventory
with "blocked open studs" but my set has 3 of the figs with "hollow
stud". The 3 figs are:

Minifig No: sw0183 Name: Anakin Skywalker - Large Eyes, Reddish Brown Arms
*
sw0183 (Inv) Anakin Skywalker - Large Eyes, Reddish Brown Arms
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars The Clone Wars

*
sw0286 (Inv) Clone Trooper (Phase 1) - Black Visor and Pauldron, Large Eyes
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars The Clone Wars

There are no alternate minifigs with the option for hollow stud heads. I dont
want to break the figures down but I also dont want to sell them and have the
customers complain that we sent them the wrong heads. What should I do in this
case??

Thanks in advance.

I have noticed a rather significant mould variation on this part :

Part No: 2641 Name: Support Crane Stand Single
*
2641 Support Crane Stand Single
Parts: Support

I reckon the original part "2641a" was not structually stable enough
so TLG made "2641b"

However, the "cut out" under the top plate was never used to any effect
in the two sets that used the part?

So TLG could have gone with "2641b" from the start ...

I only noticed this after buying a bunch for a MOC and I wanted to put a 4x4
structure uunder the supports. Not doable with half of them

This part was also made in black for the Blacktron prototype set btw

What do you think?

Cheers,

Ole

I'm hoping someone here might know more about a sticker sheet that I came
across. The stickers were clearly made in reference to set 375 / 6075 Castle:

Set No: 6075  Name: Castle
*
6075-2 (Inv) Castle
706 Parts, 14 Minifigures, 1981
Sets: Castle: Classic Castle
They are pre-cut, so that at least rules out them being the result of an amateur
print job. Stylistically the sticker sheet is quite similar to other sets from
the Legends theme:

Part No: 10041stk01 Name: Sticker Sheet for Set 10041 - (45667/4190519)
*
10041stk01 Sticker Sheet for Set 10041 - (45667/4190519)
Parts: Sticker Sheet
And similar to other Legends sets, there is a 2002 LEGO copyright, but what LEGO
set would that copyright be connected to? The simplest explanation is that I've
come across yet another example of reproduction stickers meant for set 6075,
but then why did someone go to all the extra effort to add these anachronistic
details?

Hello,

I've inventoried some new sets in 2023 and seem to be finding more and more
Part Color Codes (PCC's) that don't show up in the catalog. Occasionally
I feel bold and state the PCC's in the inventory comments during submission,
but usually I am too lazy.

Is manually adding a PCC number into the catalog solely an Administrator function,
or can anyone submit a PCC? If so to the latter, where can I do this?

Thanks, - Chris

Hi,

I am a minifigure collector and bought the mechanical pencil (52603) when i was
in the Lego Store because it came with a minifigure i didnt have. However since
coming home and searching on Bricklink on the page for 52603, it doesn't
actually have a link to the minifigure page (where it says what the item contains,
it just says N/A). Does anyone know the Bricklink reference number for this minifigure
or have a web link to its page?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

For set 75312;

should items 61190d (3x) and 61190c (4x) not be listed as extra item instead
of regular item? Both are not used in the build of the model/minifigures and
are not shown in the instructions. Only 1 off 4 of 61190d is used in SW1158.

Bill and Mary(of course,the legoland idea book mascots),as far as I know, did
not appeared in any set.Although there are torso stickers in the book,but you
need

However,there are a lot of sellers who are selling them.So I can't make my

First I apologize if this has been answered already as I've not been as active

I recently got around to building my

Set No: 71411 Name: The Mighty Bowser
*
71411-1 (Inv) The Mighty Bowser

Upon opening noticed that the
instructions were in a cardboard sleeve (attached). I know that we catalog cardboard
sleeves for capes and rubber bands, but should we also do it for these sleeves?
There appears to a be a PCC like code on here that would allow someone who was
to sell the sealed instructions a means of identifying it without opening the
sleeve. I know that there isn't a "sealed" option for instructions,
but thought it would be helpful for others. Thoughts?

about colour variants but on some sides collar is named "RED" and on
other sides "Maroon".
Please add this information to part info.

Best regards

M.W.

Some lego employees have minifigures with name and phone number etc. Printet
on them - serving as visit cards. Do these have a Place here on bricklink?

I added a new item a few days ago, and it said it was pending. Do we have a
way to track that item, or does anyone know how long it takes to get approved?
It is an official LEGO item with an item number. Thanks!

What I would like to propose is a new "tag" to add to many minifigure
arms and legs (even leg assemblies & torso assemblies) in the catalog so that
the tag could be searched for. Basically a new searchable term: "Dual Molded."

This way if a user wants to see every leg assembly or arm assembly that contains
even one dual molded arm or one dual molded leg within the assembly, then the
search results would populate with every instance that LEGO has made a part that
contained this.

I'm not sure how this would be achieved but I'm envisioning it as an
"invisible" tag, one that is coded into the catalog element but isn't
written out within the publicly readable description.

I think it would be greatly beneficial as certain parts that are dual molded
are harder to find via searching... For example, I sometimes try to find the
bulk of these dual molded parts by searching "boot pattern" or "sleeve
pattern," but I know there are a few other parts that exist that I'm
not seeing in my results. If the actual part isn't depicting a boot or sleeve
but is none the less dual molded, serving another design aesthetic, it won't
be listed. The same is true for dual molded parts that feature printing as this
sets them apart from the non-decorated dual molded legs/arms in other colors.

I've put in a request to add two new parts for set 8898 (counterparts).
The instructions show 2x 3660 (Inverted slope 45 2 x 2) are stickered and 2 x
3665 (Inverted 46 1 x 2) are stickered.

The curent inventory shows 2x 3665L and 2 x 3665R.

What is the ETA normally on approvals for catalog requests?

Thanks.

Was digging through older tub looking for something when I came across unopened
cardboard sleeve bearing number 6025311. Bricklink has listing for it

Part No: 6025331 Name: Cardboard Sleeve 6025331 with Contents
*
6025331 (Inv) Cardboard Sleeve 6025331 with Contents
Parts: Cardboard Sleeve

However Items Appears in was listed as N/A

I had to do a little bit of digging since 4 cloaks in one sleeve isn't common
and one of the cloak inside appeared in only one set

Set No: 79003 Name: An Unexpected Gathering
*
79003-1 (Inv) An Unexpected Gathering
623 Parts, 6 Minifigures, 2012
Sets: The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings: The Hobbit

Logically the cardboard sleeve comes in only one set and the "Item Appears
in" should be updated to specify the set #79003-1

Hey at all,
I got a special version of the old Wilhuff Tarkin minifigure sw0157. This one
only have the red and blue signs without the yellow one. I found it in a LEGO
book as a picture. There is also the lego brand, so it is real. It is not listed
on bricklink, but im in contact.
Do you know where this special version is from?

I added a picture of the minifigure, the lego brand, the book picture and a comparison
of the normal tarkin, the alternativ tarkin and firmus piett. So you see the
difference.
Best regards Flo

Is it just me, or do the catalog stats not change. I get popular parts are popular
parts... but it's NEVER chanegd! And it doesn't coincide at all with
my personal research... not that that really matters either I suppose

Also... is there a way to view catalog by price? Instead of by date etc? I remember
there being kind of a round about way but maybe that was a dream!

Thoughts??

Just found a book ( Buster Books ) that I can’t see in the catalogue.

Dimensions 14.5cm x 20.3cm x 2.1cm

Smaller than standard book.

Minifigure appears to be the same.

Only found Polish version of larger book ( b19sh01p1 ) with similar imagery but
different minifigure packaging, an English version is listed for sale under this
number.

Dimensions for this listed book are 21.5 x 27.4 x 1.5

Book No: b19sh01pl Name: DC Super Heroes - Zagadki Leksa Luthora (Softcover) (Polish Edition)
*
b19sh01pl (Inv) DC Super Heroes - Zagadki Leksa Luthora (Softcover) (Polish Edition)
Books: Activity Book: Super Heroes: Superman

Have I missed it somewhere ?

Hi Catmins,

When I search the catalog for part 18798 I can see images for the different wheel
covers, but after clicking the 'Item consists of' link, the 'Image
not available' is shown for each part. In the page that opens after clicking
on one of these parts brings up 'No image', presumably because the default
color selected is 'Not applicable'.

Can the links be changed/modified so that an image is displayed on these pages
(even if it isn't the correct color), which would be more useful than displaying
nothing?

This is about the Duplo Little Forest Friends.

I have in front of me a Belgian set 2833, which contains two storybooks (one
in Dutch, one in French) and a Dutch set 2831 with one storybook in Dutch.

The inventory only shows the English book.

All books have different item numbers on the back of the cover, but otherwise
(besides the language), they are identical.

How to deal with this in the catalogue?

I see some options:
1. Change the item number of the book into an "independent" number, and
when listing a set the language has to be added in the desciption of the set.
2. Add all different versions to the catalog using there Lego item numbers, and
create an alternate entry for each book.

What seems to be the best way to do?

Regards Peter.

Require clear glass for a #6154 "lift" frame. 1x4x4.
Told by LEGO that the glass element number is or was 6275866.

Discontinued in 2019, anybody have any ideas?

Are we sure this is from 2002? A lot of these bulk packs from 2003-04 tend to
say “2002” on the packaging, despite being from later years. I’m not sure what
the deal is, but sets like

Set No: 10146 Name: Assorted Dark Gray Bricks
*
10146-1 (Inv) Assorted Dark Gray Bricks
62 Parts, 2004

and

Set No: 10145 Name: Assorted Light Gray Bricks
*
10145-1 (Inv) Assorted Light Gray Bricks

Sets: Bulk Bricks

are confirmed to be from 2004 and have this same packaging detail.

I had a set added to the catalog the other day, and I have the set and instructions
here, so I was going to go and submit the item inventory for the set. (This
is my first time trying this). (The set is an older Toys R Us Build Event set
from 2016).

The set has a stickered part. I have the stickered part, and the stickered part
is in the catalog. But the original sticker sheet is Not in the catalog. How
would I go about submitting this inventory? Can I submit it without the original
sticker sheet (With the stickered part)? Does the sticker sheet need to be added
to the catalog before I can submit the set inventory? (But how would I do that
if I don't have the original sticker sheet)?

I appreciate the advice!

Are build-a-minifigure packs still being added to the catalog? I only see four
packs from 2020. I’d like to add the one below (if we’re still doing that) so
that I can list some of the figs. I don't see these specific figs in the
catalog either (or in pending items), but I do see plenty of other BAM figs.

If I add these items, will they be accepted?

After years of being on here, I've finally submitted some sets to the catalog.
I've got several Toys R Us Build Event sets from 2015 - 2017 that were not
listed in the catalog. So I took some photos and submitted a request to add
the sets.

Hoping I followed this process correctly, but does anyone have any advice for
a first timer?
I submitted the set, then followed that up by uploading the images for the set
and the instructions. Hopefully once they get approved, I can then add the inventory.

Take care all!

Hello,

I was recently looking up a set online, and came across images of it with two
different box designs. From what I can tell comparing the boxes of both types,
the two designs of boxes have the same box dimensions. It is just the visuals
on the box that are different. The set is 4884 Wild Hunters, from 2005

Would Bricklink care about differentiating between the two design types? I know
for some sets they make a note of different box designs, such as 10242-1 or 10220-1,
but I don't know if they are not as concerned if there is no change in the
size of the box, just a change in the visuals.

Attached below are some images to show the difference between the two designs
of boxes. The first 2 images are of one design, and the last 2 are of the other
design. Sorry for the blurry images for some, it is hard to find good images
online.

Any insight would be appreciated,

Alizarin

I have to browse through the categories sometimes, and the category in Parts,
Minifig Head, has 74 pages of minifigs to go through! A lot of these minifigs
are not sorted, and appear by default by date listed in the catalog or by number.

I therefore suggest that the category "Minifig, Head" be subdivided further
into categories, rough suggestion as follows:

Standard male minifig heads. If it properly identifies as a male minifig head,
it should go here.

Standard female minifig heads. Same as above, except if there are female features
included.

Standard minifig head, undetermined type. If it doesn't fit into either of
the above and is not a masked or theme specific head, it goes here.

Minifig heads with a mask on or designed to be worn with a helmet through which
printed features, such as eyes, show through

Minifig heads specific to a licensed theme, such as Star Wars.

These are just some broad categories to hopefully narrow down the number of pages
one has to go browsing through looking at random minifig heads. More may be needed,
anyone have suggestions or comments to the above?

There may be other categories that could benefit from subdivision or reorganization.

Cheers ...

Analogical to CMF, Star Wars and other Themes with Subthemes:

Mia, Stephanie and the other Friends-Mini Dolls since 2012 are now adult and
the next generation with Nova, Leo and so on comes in 2023.

We now have more than 500 Sets in the Friends-Theme so I think it's time
to split.

Please create two Subthemes like:

Friends First Generation including all sets with the old Mini Dolls (all Dolls
before 2023)

Friends Second Generation includes the sets with the new Mini Dolls.

The Sets without Mini Dolls should stay in the Friends-Theme.

Hi catmins,

I recently submitted an updated image for

Part No: 973pb3187c01 Name: Torso Ninja Robe Silver Trim with Blue Wave Pattern / Black Arms / Dark Bluish Gray Hands
*
973pb3187c01 (Inv) Torso Ninja Robe Silver Trim with Blue Wave Pattern / Black Arms / Dark Bluish Gray Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.
that showed the front and back printing. Even though the image has been updated
above, when you go to
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=973pb3187c01&C=11#T=P&C=11
it only shows the old image.

Is there anything more I need to do to get this corrected?

Hi,
I am confused as to why only some of the stickered parts are listed in the counterpart
section of the set inventory for 41232-1.

If you type in 41232 you will see that every stickered part has a picture, but
several are not linked to the set.

Could someone link them please?

Thanks,
Cass T

Hello dear BrickLinkers,

Had a friendly customer that bought 776px8 as an alternative flag for the almost
impossible-to-find 777px8, found in the Weetabix Castle (00-1). The only difference
according to the description is the no bottom lip on 776px8.

However (as pictures show, although the generic image for 777px8 is somewhat
poor) there are multiple small differences that separates them.

Most obvious is the fact that 776px8 was produced between 1957-1963 and the quality
on the print/production could be inferior to the 777px8 produced ~15 years later.
At least the prints and craft could vary a lot more in the 50s but the print
looks sloppy, almost "glued" on to. Some more minor differences (print,
top of the pole which isn't noticeable on my pictures and at least my eyes
also see some differences in the wave of the flag and on searching online the
bend of the pole seems to be different (or just playwear).

The most distinguishable difference is the outline, as on mine it's discolored/almost
turning gold. I've attached images of both. One of my questions is if it's
more common that 776px8 has the discolored outline around the logo? Or if I had
a worn part and the buyer had an excellent copy of 777px8. I don't think
I'll suggest a note on each part since it's already an related items,
just curious for no good reason.

Kind Regards

Ola

Hi,

Only have part of the instruction as seen on the photo’s.

I cannot find this one, walked through all instructions 1965-1995. It should
be from the 80s I think.

Why are the cow elements (Parts 64452pb02 and 64452pb01) listed in "Animal,

Hello, how can I fix the Bionicle set colors someone messed up a while back?
And while I'm at it I'd also like to add missing set entries (with pics),
some Lego original merch, fix 1 set inventory, and add notes to some sets. All
for Bionicle, not other themes. Kind regards, Chef

Maybe it is already known. I suspected there would be sprues in this set and
found evidence that the inventory is correct and figured it ought to be attested.

Just wanted to give a heads up to some of the more avid Star Wars minifigure
collectors that there has been some development in the sw0112 discussion. The
origins of this figure and its subsequent deletion from the catalog has been
a topic of discussion here on the forums before without any real answers or direction.
Here is the information I have gathered and the changes to the catalog as a result:

- sw0112 was added to the catalog in 2004

Minifig No: sw0112 Name: Star Wars
*
sw0112 Star Wars
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6
Marked for Deletion

- Shortly after being added to the catalog, it was marked for deletion because
it is not an official minifigure. It claimed to be from set 4504-1 and/or 4504-2
but if you look up the instructions for that set, not only do the figures in
that set have light nougat heads, instead of yellow like this figure, the assembly
of the Han Solo figure shows him wearing the hair piece and not the parka/hood
piece. Per BrickLink's guidelines on minifigure inventories, an item should
only be included in the inventory if the official instructions show it as being
assembled.

- Instead of being shown as assembled on Han Solo, this parka/hood piece is shown
as an accessory that is placed inside the falcon in step 24.

- At this point, many believed that this figure was unique in that it had a hood/parka
piece with different colors/markings (white fur) than any other Han Solo figure
(such as sw0253/a). As a result, this figure has somewhat been treated like
a misprint or rare collector's item. The lack of an inventory for the
figure marked for deletion left collectors with the task of understanding the
difference between the prints on the two parka/hood pieces and has at times sparked
some debate of giving the minifigure a catalog entry again.

- I began digging into this a bit more and received information from the original
submitter of the figure that confirmed a suspicion of mine: When they took the
photo, they just took it of a minifigure they had assembled in that set without
looking up what the instructions had assembled.

- Digging further the catalog admin and I were able to determine that the hood/parka
piece in step 24 of this set was in fact different from the only similar one
in that catalog. This one had white fur, while the other one had tan fur, and
only the tan version was a catalog item.

- So the white fur parka/hood piece had been added to the catalog

Part No: x205pb05 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Hood Fur-lined with White, Dark Bluish Gray and Brown Fur Pattern
*
x205pb05 Minifigure, Headgear Hood Fur-lined with White, Dark Bluish Gray and Brown Fur Pattern
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear {Dark Blue}

and the inventories for 4504-1 and 4504-2 have been updated to the white version.
The tan fur version of the parka/hood piece has been changed to an undetermined
pattern entry and marked for deletion.

Part No: x205pb01 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Hood Fur-lined with Fur Pattern (Undetermined Type)
*
x205pb01 Minifigure, Headgear Hood Fur-lined with Fur Pattern (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear {Dark Blue}
Marked for Deletion

and a new entry for the tan version has been added to the catalog as well:

Part No: x205pb06 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Hood Fur-lined with Tan and Brown Fur Pattern
*
x205pb06 Minifigure, Headgear Hood Fur-lined with Tan and Brown Fur Pattern
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear {Dark Blue}

with sw0253 and sw0253a inventories being updated to reflect this.

Minifig No: sw0253 Name: Han Solo - Light Nougat, Parka Hood, Tan Legs with Holster
*
sw0253 (Inv) Han Solo - Light Nougat, Parka Hood, Tan Legs with Holster
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6

Minifig No: sw0253a Name: Han Solo - Light Nougat, Parka Hood, Tan Legs with Holster (2010)
*
sw0253a (Inv) Han Solo - Light Nougat, Parka Hood, Tan Legs with Holster (2010)
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6

- sw0112 is not an official Star Wars figure, but if you want to create it yourself,
there is now a listing for the "unique" parka/hood piece.

The parts in "Item Consists Of" has the wrong head. The correct head
I submitted it with from the BAM at the time is 3626cpb1569. (Yiboneh is my

Hi everyone,
I recently put together the 6991 Monorail transport base after purchasing it
in an unsorted bulk lot.

Set No: 6991 Name: Monorail Transport Base
*
6991-1 (Inv) Monorail Transport Base
555 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 1994
Sets: Space: Unitron

I followed the Bricklink inventory to gather all the parts, but I noticed when
building, there were some extra pieces that I did not use.

I'm wondering if anyone else has this set and can confirm the inventory accuracy.

The Bricklink inventory says that the set includes 3x 3069bpb0017, but I only
used two and saw for the alternate track diagrams the use of two on the track
switches, not three.
[P=3069bpb0017,11]

4x 4275b, but only two were used

Part No: 4275b Name: Hinge Plate 1 x 2 with 3 Fingers on End - Hollow Studs
*
4275b Hinge Plate 1 x 2 with 3 Fingers on End - Hollow Studs
Parts: Hinge {Blue}

And finally two 4504, but this part were not used in any of the building steps.

Part No: 4504 Name: Hinge Plate 1 x 6 with 2 and 3 Fingers On Ends
*
4504 Hinge Plate 1 x 6 with 2 and 3 Fingers On Ends
Parts: Hinge {Blue}

Did I miss something putting it together? The older instructions don't typically
have parts required per step laid out, so it's possible.

Maybe there were alternate versions of the set, I'm not sure as I did not
acquire this new or with a box, just the instructions.

Many thanks!

Hi all,

I am sorting a bulk used lot now and I am confused about one part reference.

The one I have (enclosed photo, sorry for the bad quality...) probably comes
from the set 4708 Hogwarts Express since I also have a lot of its parts with
stickers...

Set No: 4708 Name: Hogwarts Express
*
4708-1 (Inv) Hogwarts Express
400 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2001
Sets: Harry Potter: Sorcerer's Stone: Train: 9V

so I guess mine is :

Part No: 40253 Name: Door, Frame 2 x 8 x 6 Swivel without Bottom Notches
*
40253 Door, Frame 2 x 8 x 6 Swivel without Bottom Notches
Parts: Door, Frame {Dark Gray}

and that's what is written on the underside, and so not :

Part No: 30101 Name: Door, Frame 2 x 8 x 6 Swivel with Bottom Notches
*
30101 Door, Frame 2 x 8 x 6 Swivel with Bottom Notches
Parts: Door, Frame {Dark Gray}

Where I am confused is by the name "WITHOUT Bottom Notches" and since there is
no photo of the back (bottom ? ) I'm a little at loss and come seek your
help...

I've checked rebrickable and on it is the opposite problem, there is a photo
of 40253 that is like mine, but not of the back of 30101

Long story short I'm pretty sure I have the 40253 but I'd like someone
to confirm, and it would be nice, if that's the case, to change the names
to something like "without back support / notches not reinforced" and "with
back support / notches reinforced" and add a photo to clear the difference (I
could try to take and edit a better one when I get back home later if anyone
is interested...)

Another possibility is that I could be totally mistaken about what are really
those "Bottom Notches"...

Thanks a lot and a nice day, David

Hi there - is it possible to get access to the full set database? I am working

the data I need. If this is available and shareable, please point me in the right
direction!

Thank you!

There was a version of the Lego 71171 Dimensions PS4 starter pack that came with
the 71340 supergirl, and I have a picture of it. I requesting adding it to the
catalog as 71171-2 a few weeks ago, it's still not added.

Parting out several copies of this set …

Set No: 9732 Name: Extreme Creatures
*
9732-1 (Inv) Extreme Creatures
148 Parts, 1 Gear, 1998
Sets: MINDSTORMS: RCX

All copies contained a laminated Quick Start card, with p/n 4122284 on it. Does
this need to be added to the catalog (possibly under Informational Book) ?

Also, one copy had a License Agreement (p/n 4.122.176), possibly similar to p/n
4.122.168 which is already in the catalog. Preferences about adding this as well
?

Thanks, Nita Rae

I have 2 - 80326 in Light Orange and they seem to be legit Lego parts (small
logo at base of clip on one side). Orange separator is shown so you can see this
is not standard Orange and yellow parts shown on right side. This colour is not
shown even as "popular" in catalog. Does anyone know what set(s) these might

After considering the entirety of the Wheels category, I think three approaches
are reasonable (skip toward the end for the short version):

__________________________________

Approach 1:
__________________________________

Title Section 1: The word "Wheel."

Title Section 2: Theme, use, or both. See below.

Title Section 3: Actual, measured size of the wheel hub in the format
"10mm D. x 10mm."

Title Section 4: Any other information deemed necessary.

Sections are not separated by punctuation. For Title Section 2, the theme generally
takes precedence. Theme can be followed by use, as in "Wheel Town Motorcycle."
Although there are no firm rules for selecting the contents of this title section,
the preferred length is no more than two words. Themes should be loosely interpreted
into only a few basic categories (Fabuland, Space, Town, Technic, etc.) to reduce
the total number of themes and avoid more groupings than necessary.

__________________________________

Approach 2:
__________________________________

Title Section 1: The word "Wheel."

Title Section 2: Actual, measured size of the wheel hub in the format
"10mm D. x 10mm."

Title Section 3: Theme, use, or both. See below.

Title Section 4: Any other information deemed necessary.

Sections are not separated by punctuation. For Title Section 3, the theme generally
takes precedence. Theme can be followed by use, as in "Wheel 30mm D. x 14mm
Town Motorcycle." Although there are no firm rules for selecting the contents
of this title section, the preferred length is no more than two words.

Approach 3:
__________________________________

Title Section 1: The word "Wheel."

Title Section 2: Actual, measured size of the wheel hub in the format
"10mm D. x 10mm."

Title Section 3: Any other information deemed necessary.

Sections are not separated by punctuation. For Title Section 3, this information
is only the information not captured by the tag system.

___________________________________

SKIP TO HERE

Here are the pros and cons of each approach, followed by examples already in
use.

For Approach 1 the pros are standardization and grouping of similar items (like
Technic or wagon wheels). The con is that 82 of the 212 wheels already use the
second approach.

Part No: 33212 Name: Wheel Wagon 56mm
*
33212 Wheel Wagon 56mm
Parts: Wheel

For Approach 2, the pro is a very straightforward system, where every single
wheel is ranked by actual size. The con is that groupings of similar items will
be lost in the places where such groupings currently exist.

Part No: 50862  Name: Wheel 15mm D. x 6mm City Motorcycle
*
50862 Wheel 15mm D. x 6mm City Motorcycle
Parts: Wheel

For Approach 3, the pro is that all unnecessary information is moved to a tagging
system. The cons are that titles will be visually lacking and the tag system
may not be robust enough to support sucking most of the information out of titles.

Part No: 56904  Name: Wheel 30mm D. x 14mm
*
56904 Wheel 30mm D. x 14mm
Parts: Wheel

My preference is Approach 1. I think it makes the most sense given the current
system, even after tags come along.

I will say, based on extensive experience, that BL is highly unlikely to change
much in the Wheel category, at least not in any kind of timely manner (meaning
within the next five years). But I have the wheels and my wish is that everyone
could benefit from this collection. So I'll make a one-time submission of
the data and change requests.

The only question is this: which approach would members prefer I use to submit
the data? Thoughts or input?

When looking at a part in the catalog, we can see the Years Released (first thing
under Item Info.) I had always thought that that span of years was based on
the earliest and latest years that that part had been in any set in any color.
I also thought that when an inventory is approved and shows up in the catalog,
the span of years is updated immediately, but maybe that's not the case.

Today I noticed that the inventory for

Set No: 10979 Name: Wild Animals of Europe
*
10979-1 (Inv) Wild Animals of Europe
86 Parts, 2022
Sets: DUPLO
was just added. That set includes the following part:

Part No: 11344  Name: Duplo, Brick 2 x 3 x 2 Slope Curved
*
11344 Duplo, Brick 2 x 3 x 2 Slope Curved
Parts: DUPLO, Brick
The Wild Animals of Europe set is a new one from 2022. Since that set includes
part 11344, shouldn't the Years Released info automatically update to show
the most recent year being 2022? It currently shows 2019.

I have all the LEGO wheels (in all the colors) from the 1970s to now. Two months
ago, on October 4th, I offered to help organize the wheels section of the BL
catalog (because it's currently a genuine mess).

I sent that offer of assistance to the catalog team, which apparently consists
of the two volunteer administrators and five BrickLink employees.

My offer was completely ignored by the catalog team. I think it was fair to
give them two months before expressing my discontent publicly. BrickLink members,
and especially members willing to contribute, should be treated better than this.

Dismiss, patronize, and ignore is not an effective customer service strategy.

I came across a plate that appears to be very light bluish gray, marbled with
white and dark bluish gray, but I cannot find this in the catalog under decorated
or by its own color. Can anyone point me in the right direction? part number
printed underneath is 03034 rather than 3034

Hi,

I'm curious why certain items change logs don't show previous names?

I know this figure was called "Kickboxer Girl - Minifigure only Entry"
as recently as May - 2020, yet the change log only shows it was ever called Boxing
Champ ect.

Minifig No: col251 Name: Kickboxer, Series 16 (Minifigure Only without Stand and Accessories)
*
col251 (Inv) Kickboxer, Series 16 (Minifigure Only without Stand and Accessories)

The CMF's set change log includes the kickboxer girl verbiage.

Set No: col16 Name: Kickboxer, Series 16 (Complete Set with Stand and Accessories)
*
col16-8 (Inv) Kickboxer, Series 16 (Complete Set with Stand and Accessories)

Hello
I just want to ask: when will you add a list of parts of sets 76214 and 76213?
(sets from Black Panther movie).
