If you want to see someone using a 3d printer to make Lego parts then you need
to look up Mantis Hacks on you tube, he has been 3d printing lego for a while
now, and no he won't be selling them on here and it's all for fun.

sure I'm not missing anything that's going on.

The crazy situation is that we receive all the "order, quote, etc." messages
but not the user messages. It seems to be again a problem at Bricklink - 4 days
ago, everything has arrived, but suddenly again this problem. This should be
solved quickly. I think their outgoing message system is down.

You could test this by switching to email with a completely different provider
and see if you get the same results. I don't see how it could be a system-wide
BrickLink issue that only some email accounts are only getting some messages.

I personally have a gmail account and am currently getting all messages from
blservice@bricklink.com.

Some email providers block suspected spam before it gets to your account, and
some block it and send it to your spam/junk folder. If the former is happening,
it is difficult to fix.

Hope that helps,
Jen

I last received an email from blservice@bricklink.com on the 26th Jan, it goes
to an email address that is then forwarded onto yahoo, never had an issue until
then. Nothing in my spam as I check that daily.

With no luck on them I then looked at tiles 1x3 and up as the sticker is slightly

Any ideas this is getting frustrating they are defiantly Lego slopes and looking
at them show a silver engine component and coppery panel with rivets.

Many thanks

Thank you for that, that has saved me a huge amount of work especially as I would
never have gone to liftarms for them. I was working my way through the sticker

end.

Many thanks for that.

There's a non-negligible chance that even if these stickers belong with a
particular part that the part with sticker won't be catalogued. Sticker sheets
might be the best bet.

That's my thinking as well, it's just trying to find the sticker sheet
to get the set to be able to list them, that and hoping they're on the right
piece of Lego to start with which I'm now thinking they're not which
is making id'ing them really hard.

They might match a 2x1 curved slope, or even a 3x1? Seem a bit small for the
4x1 double

Any ideas will be great.

It could be from any of the Star Wars sets as They have the white top with the
ski's you'd have to go through and see what other parts you have.[P=30187b,7]
Click on sets and then look at the sets listed under white.

I’ll try the reverse look up, although I’ve just reread my listing and realise
I left out half the details which may throw a spanner in the responses.
The stickered parts that I have are currently not listed in BrickLink as they’ve
not been added before, I can list them fine with pictures but would like to know
what sets they go with, so without having to go through and look at every single
sticker sheet that is listed is there a way of finding a particular sticker from
a sheet.

I’ll try all methods replied but feel I could be going through all the sticker
sheets

Many thanks for the responses I blame it being late last night when I put the
first note. 😔

I bought some items from a seller a while ago and when I got the invoice I found
that they lived a few doors down from my cousin in an area that I drive past
for work on many occasions, I sent the seller a message asking if he could possibly
pop it through the door to my cousin to save on the postage and I'd collect
it in when passing.
He was perfectly fine with doing that and after giving my cousin a heads up picked
it up a couple days later.
I've never had an order close by but if I did I would message them to see
if they wanted to pick it up or I drop it in when passing with work.
Anything to save a bit of money for the buyer as postage costs aren't cheap
anymore.

In Selling, popsicle writes:
I received an order earlier today from an address less than 2 miles from our
home. (It was a simple order totaling $50, containing a single minifig) Packaged
and invoiced within 10 mins. The newish-to-BL/new-to-us buyer, paid immediately
followed by “thanks, I just paid” comms. So the order was labeled and ready for
USPS drop-off within 20 mins of it being placed. I normally wait for other outgoing
packages at the end of the day to post. But as my daughter had a package awaiting
pick up, I figured I'd take the single package to the PO to grab her package.

I jumped into our truck with the package, started the truck only to pause staring
forward down the driveway, contemplating: The man only lives 6 minutes away,
shouldn’t I just drive to his home and place the package on his front doorstep?
How silly is it to drive the same distance to mail the package? He’ll likely
receive his order within 24 hours anyway, but still? I could file for a refund
for the $3.27 label, later?

It’s not the first time this scenario has play out though, as I’m certain
it has for some of you too.

Tell me what you’d do and I’ll tell you what I did...

It may add the number into the cn22 form on paypal and yes I create a postage
label in paypal, the only thing with it is I don't print the cn22 forms as
I have a stack of self adhesive ones from the post office that I fill in.
It's possible the ioss number is somehow added into the barcode on the postage
label that gets scanned when it's handed over.
I'll see if the next one is hassle free as well.

In Selling, Erkiles writes:
Interesting ... so it seems that when filling in a CN22 using Paypal (I assume
that's because you use create the shipping label via PP?) the IOSS nr is
actually transmitted into the electric customs form.

It might very well be that it comes down to failures, perhaps even on both sides,
of the parties doing the customs formalities (like postal services or courrier
services).

I'm still confused as to what to do, I sent an order to France a few weeks
back, submitted the ioss number to the post office and sent it on it's way.
The package got to the destination and I have not heard anything from the buyer
as to them having to pay twice.
I'm now about to put one in the post to Finland.

Bricklink says NOT to put the ioss number anywhere but when you fill in a cn22
on paypal it asks for the number, you fill it in and when you view the completed
form there is nothing on it to indicate the number, after printing the postage
label the only thing I've noticed is there is a small black circle just above
the post by date that has ioss in white letters in it.
No number just the words ioss, I've attached the Bricklink vat invoice letter
but still don't know if we add the ioss number or not, I'll give it to
the post office when I put the package in.

Question is do I or don't I put the number on the package as there seems
to be differing views?

I am going to state the obvious but you do know that the time on the orders is
the time of Bricklinks servers which is 5 hours behind the UK, you posted this

5 hours ago 17.38.

after. I placed an order myself to a store and within 2 mins the seller messaged
me to tell me he had received my order and I had missed that days post but he
would dispatch next working day. Is there anyone else who is experiencing a delay
in notifications and does anyone know how I can resolve this issue. I have contacted
bricklink and haven't received any response from them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would list the instructions for the polybags as well, OK they may not be worth
anything other than a few cents but I have found that they do sell as well as
the larger instructions, even if you are missing one of the books, or only have
1 of a set they do still go.

I think it's been slow for everyone, last August I had 47 orders, this year
12.
June this year it was 13 compared with 84 last year. I've added loads of
pieces since then.
I do think that the easing of lockdowns and everybody going back to work and
being able to take holidays has not helped, hopefully it will pick up as it gets
colder.

First point of call is to contact the seller and explain that you got the wrong
tiles.
He either send you the correct ones or refund you for the incorrect parts.
Take a couple of pictures of the 1x6 tiles and send them with the message.
They'll end up checking their inventory and find that it's out.
