Don’t see this pharoah headgear on bricklink in black…see a few others listed.
Any ideas where it would have come from?

Is it this one?

[p=90462]

That's it, I guess!

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x177#T=C "rounder"
vs "squarer" really???? That's how we're distinguishing this?
Does that really need to be???

I agree that this looks like one that should be merged into the other version.
I don't know why this one was split when we don't do it to most other
headpieces that have small changes like this.

Cheers,
Randy

It might make sense to separate them if there were overlap, but it looks like
white and yellow are exclusively in one type, while black is exclusively the
other.

I'm sorting through a bulk lot and came across a pin that looks like it,
but I wanted to make sure it wasn't a knock off. I know there are sets from
that era in this lot, so it's possible.

Here's a picture I took. Looks like it has the same round sprue mark and
the long friction ridges, but the plastic is much thicker/more rigid than the
current technic pins.

The plastic on those original versions was thicker and more rigid. Along with
the long friction ridges, they were crazy hard to take out compared to the modern
versions.

Cheers,
Randy

Thanks Randy!

The head is the only thing that could be Lego. Always check for the Lego Lego
on top of the head; on the neck under the head, and on the legs in between the
pegs that fit into the torso.

The heads don’t always have an logo that is (easily) visible

Oh, maybe because the mold was used exclusively as a 'chi' crystal for

Not true.  The second is clearly a crystallic form and it’s not regular: the
protrusions are 3 sizes.

Logic? In the catalogue? Are yu new here?

That is a neat use for the single green leaves -- I will no longer throw
them away.

As for the source, they are leaves busted loose from the bamboo piece

Well I definitely think it should be cataloged properly now! And I thought the
bamboo thing at first but then I forced myself to think there's gotta be
something else

Maybe I do not understand your message but what should be cataloged properly?
The leaf that shouldn’t be in the catalog since it is a small piece of a part
that isn’t meant to be disassembled (damaged in this case).
The loose leaf is nothing but a damaged piece.

So I was not ever confused with these 2 parts until just now. Maybe it's
lack of sleep or the blonde hair... who knows.

I understand the fins literally go up on one and down on the other... but if
you turn it upside down then you have it turned the other way and then it becomes
the other part,,,

If both are pointing with the fins up one would be balancing on a stud whilst
the other would be flat to the surface with a stud in the centre of the fins

I think you need more sleep, the central stud determines what's up or down.

Finally found the answer to these mysterious single green feathers I have collected
but now... I can't find it anywhere in the catalog or on the interwebs.

Help??

That is a neat use for the single green leaves -- I will no longer throw
them away.

As for the source, they are leaves busted loose from the bamboo piece

Well I definitely think it should be cataloged properly now! And I thought the
bamboo thing at first but then I forced myself to think there's gotta be
something else

Definitely a leaf, maybe cut from another part?

This? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2464#T=C

You got it! Thanks! Usually Google Image is my jam but I guess I couldn't
get a good enough image. PLUS it's extremely difficult to use the catalog
if you don't have any idea what to call the part.. I tried rocks, panels.
slopes, inverted slopes.. nada

If it doesn’t fit any of the predictable criteria, it’s probably a modified brick.

Dark purple
Trans-purple
And either lavender or medium lavender

Medium lavender looks perfect! Thanks!

Same! I could’ve sworn it was purple as the main and dark purple as the stripes,
but I honestly can’t tell!

It appears to be a render, so the colours may be a bit off.

At least I think it is but every time I look at the image I feel like it’s some
