Scrolling doesn't change, you just see a part of a shop.

Tried on my favorite guinea pig:
https://store.bricklink.com/Nubs_Select

Tested on Firefox (latest) and Edge, same result.

It's very recent, it worked a few hours ago.

Other pages seem OK, including forum.

+1 site seems to be down

Got this part in a batch of old Lego. From the bottom(?) it looks like it screwed
onto another part. The size is about a stud high, and wider than a minifig head
but smaller than a 2x2 brick. The copyright reads: 2005 Lego

You can download all your orders… but only the summary (who, where, totals… but
no details) for those older than 6 months,
as a buyer: https://www.bricklink.com/orderExcel.asp?orderType=placed
as a seller: https://www.bricklink.com/orderExcel.asp?orderType=received

(The link is at the bottom of the list(s) of your orders… when the list isn’t
empty.)

Thanks for the explanation. And with that and the shipping complexity, I might
indeed just choose a different platform and try to offload locally.

How do I go about this on BL without breaking the TOS.

Is there much duplication? Also, depending on total sizes once packed, it might
be just as easy to offer them at 20% off, then 30%, etc, individually first and
see if they go. Once you get above a certain box size, international shipping
is almost killed due to price. So unless your domestic market is strong, a large
lot of sets might struggle to sell here.

Thanks, completely forgot about the shipping if there was ever a buyer. So yes,
has to be Ireland only then. And potentially Northern Ireland.

There is some duplication but not much.

To do it using BrickLink, you have two options:

1. List each set as normal, single lots. Then use the BIND option to add them
all into a SUPER LOT.
https://www.bricklink.com/inventoryBind.asp

2. List the whole thing as a single UNSORTED LOT. Using the Extended Description,
you can add additional photos and descriptive text.
https://www.bricklink.com/inventory_add.asp?act=a&a=U

For either option, I suggest providing plenty of pictures and a predetermined
shipping cost, either built into the price or have the cost of shipping clearly
defined and described within the listing.

* * *

An offer such as this might be better suited (and sell faster) at other online
sales venues. But there is no harm in offering it here on BrickLink.

In general, Super Lots here are not well liked. One argument is that they screw
up the price guide if, for example, a seller creates their super lot with each
item listed at one penny except for one lot that has the aggregate price, making
a super lot final price that the seller wishes the total to be. Also, by default,
Super Lots are not shown in most search results unless the searcher specifically
selects the Show Super Lots option. The other thing lacking to Super Lots is
the option to include one master photo that shows everything included in the
super lot.

Good Luck, whatever you choose to do.

Integers make sense for the other sections such as minimum order but not this
calculation. I think we should have some flexibility.

It’s a bug and it depends on your browser (and maybe the locale (dot|comma as
decimal separator)).

https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=330748&nID=1378442
https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=280476&nID=1240320

Ah, perfect. Works on another browser. Your assistance is much appreciated.

Yes, shipping international is quite expensive. First, make sure your normal
shipping charges are set to domestic orders only, not international so you don't
keep coming across this problem.

I'd suggest not making any instant checkout methods for other countries and
start with Manual Invoice only until you get an idea of what the prices are.

its best to still ship this order out and eat up the cost and learn from it and
then change your shipping prices so you don't have the same issue in the

A good way to find the sets for such assemblies is to use the "Appears In" function
in Bricklink:

Market Appears In Find Multiple Items in Inv

Just put in details of three obvious parts/colours from the assembly and see
all the sets they appear together in. Picking three parts normally narrows it
down to only a handful of sets, if not just one as per your one:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?fromForm=Y&viewMulti=Y&itemType=P&itemNo1=47458&itemSeq1=1&colorID1=115&itemNo2=11477&itemSeq2=1&colorID2=5&itemNo3=43712&itemSeq3=1&colorID3=11&in=S

The buyer must enter this password during checkout in order to bypass the restrictions.

Thank you for tour answer but I’m not even able to proceed to Checkout…🤔

ok, normally you go to the store, then on the left side there must be a
possibility to enter the password for the store

ok figured out what the issue is my security system does not like this site,
evidently this site is trying to install cookies or cookie clarification on my

allow it and evidently I cannot bypass that cookie permission, oh well.

Good set but I noticed that I have to be more careful with Technic or I'll
screw something up. The inner armrest is a bit raised over the outer on both
sides. Is it the same with your model?

And the day after, they ship the remaining…

What a mess!

You’d better ship 3 orders a day and rest every 10 days.

Some stores probably only consider it regular sales if they're getting 20+
per day.

I think it depends on what you are selling, quantities on offer and range of
inventory.

Once I reached 80,000 parts I seemed to get a regular flow of orders but this
will differ from one store to another.

Hi,

To download an older version of Studio, it’s on the changelog on the download
page, see this post: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5786&p=16345#p16345
Unfortunately, there’s no such option for PartDesigner, yet.

Otherwise, the dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).

Please search the forum for your question before posting a new one (the search
box is in the very dark grey banner).
There’s indexes of known bugs and suggestions that you can browse first:
Studio: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5579
PartDesigner: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5589

Where was the order shipping to? You have 3 shipping zones EUR1, EUR2 and World.
Your setting to add tracking is only for World zone (i.e. if your order was for
zones Eur1 or 2 it would not be added). If the order was for World, then sorry
I don't know why it didn't work.

Hope this helps
Robert

The add tracking is only for lettershipping to the world zone. I have only two
zones for lettershipping, domestic and world. The order was from Australia.

By importing this CSV-file using the the direct "import Brickset CSV" option,
the import ends with the message "We were unable to import your file. Please
make sure it is properly formatted."

Who had success importing a Brickset set-collection-CSV?
The error appears too only using a Brickset-CSV with online line ...

Thanks
Thomas

Unfortunately nobody has had success with this feature. Just continue using Brickset.
BrickLink’s “new and exciting feature” is 100% useless. Even if you do succeed
in the import, it automatically says your entire collection is “New, Sealed”
and you can’t change it.

Didn't work for me either. Errored, and imported less than half of the file.

I wonder if it's due to mismatched set numbers, which is always going to
be a problem when transferring data between sites.

There are no groups on bricklink.

If you want to discuss technic builds and MOCs then I'd suggest the technic
sub forum at eurobricks.

generally, you shouldn't need to worry. 9/10 times you should be able to

Sorry, but don't belive the "I'm sure it happened to me" unless there
are dated inventory copies.

Otherwise it's 99.99% an user glitch, or a glitch when updating or uploading
(browser, server...) but in short, the thing never happened in the end - and
without proper dated backups you cannot say it's BrickLink fault.

I was not referring to the missing items but to the downtime, unscheduled, security
scans, new funtionality no-one asked for, name changing obligation....
50% of my 'lost some inventory' where indeed caused by human actions
on my side; the other 50% certainly not mine but might have been buyers causing
glitches due to bad programming or faulty coding.

You don't want to be accused of false claims, please avoid accusing the others
also.

In 16 years year and for 2+ years I control the Inventory on BrickLink a couple
of times per day, I've found only 2 cases of real "inventory creation" (respawned
lot or error in qty) due to BrickLink only.

I measure this only, not "loss of inventory" but sincerely I guess it's about
the same, at the maximum.

And I'm talking about a 10€ total error; not something significant - not
even annoying.

That's all - I repeat, if you don't use the tools (invxml.txt or BrickStore)
and the Orders detail downloaded files, with timestamp, then you cannot say I'm
missing something due to them.

TY!

That sounds very weird - if "China" refers to the country of production, then
it's not Lego.

???
https://www.lego.com/uk-ua/aboutus/news/2022/january/china-factory-expansion

Interesting, I didn't know that! So far I always threw out anything I found
that had "China" stamped on it, was that wrong? - I don't expect Lego to
print "China" on parts produced there though.

by the way . Systems are build by humans, algoritmes too and those are as
smart (or dumb) as humans build them....

Funny isn't it?:

- BL can shoot first ask later and that's okay
- BL-members (who PAY for BL with their fees!) must provide proof before they
can shoot

Again, the big M rule applies here ever since the site got transferred to Kim
and later on to TLC
Which I can understand completely from the Jezek-family point of view, don't
get me wrong, they are in NO way to blame for what happened ever since....

I'm not trying to be rude but this seems like an ENORMOUS waste of time.
you'll end up with 10X more sales if you stop doing this.

I do periodically. I do record the totals after every addition of new parts and
that is what alerted me to the problem.

Not the totals, it can't help - you need the whole detail of each lot and
each quantity, along with lot number etc.

The invxml.txt file - or a BrickStore file.

The idea is that you can make a log like:

25 Nov 2022 Lot: 212223455 Brick 2x4 White, qty: 225
26 Nov 2022 Uploaded Brick 2x4 White, qty: 100
27 Nov 2022 Lot: 212223455 Brick 2x4 White, qty: 325

And, assuming you've sold NONE (checking downloading the orders details)
then IF you have this line:

30 Nov 2022 Lot: 212223455 Brick 2x4 White, qty: 111

That may mean:
* you have sold some (check with order details)
* some are in Stockroom (check this)
* you (or someone else) manually removed parts (inventory lot page)
* or when you uploaded it wasn't consolidated, or after a problem in IDs
because order or items cancelled, then maybe the remaining Brick 2x4 is under
a different lot ID...

If not all of this, then MAYBE you've found a problem.

But sincerely it's very difficult to track, as first you've to have every
inventories (again) and order details also (after 6 month you can't...)

Did you downloaded like daily the invxml.txt file of your Inventory on BrickLink?
Or used BrickStore and saved locally?

If not, you can't prove it's not an error from your side (99% the case)
or a BrickLink error (I'd say 1% or less)...

I have counts recorded every time I add inventory. I am not saying it is BL's
fault at all, just trying to figure out what happened..

On it's face, an obscene statement if ever I've heard one. Are there
no longer forum rules against obscenities

sarcasm

What that Frenchy type is playing on, is case law here in the states. Specifically
the 1966 supreme court ruling on Arizona v. Miranda. Google that.

good quick read

amazing what's happening the last few days here, I'm backing up my store
data as much as I can in order to minimize the impact of the next update

maybe temporarily shutting down the store is the safest thing to do?

Thx ! I have no communication received , but glad it's open again.

It's totally bizarre that they don't send a message to say you've
been shut down and another that you have been allowed to reopen again.

I wonder what the issue was. The whatsapp number being the issue doesn't
seem right, as you still have it on your terms / splash page, as do quite a few
other sellers. Having contact details is very different from offering to deal
outside of the BL system, and businesses in some countries are legally meant
to show contact details so buyers know who they are dealing with before placing
an order.

Customer service is a mess, nothing compared to the CS from the company that
owns them.

LEGO customer service ain’t perfect. I contacted them about a missing promo in
my order and they got everything ready to ship one out I saw the status on my
LEGO account and everything then a day or 2 later it was just marked as cancelled
with no contact from them

the ordering system sucks when you go over the allowed quantities, but their
CS has been outstanding. On a side note, they confirmed lots of complaints about
the order process and are looking to improve it. Again something BL can take
example from.

I only placed 2 order the entire month and nothing went over any limits

Yeah, they do that often and don't follow up with it; if you contact them
and tell them what happened, they'll place another order for the missing
GWP, and then that will get cancelled too - whatever automated system they have
in place for validating orders is horrible, you can't even request replacement
parts without it cancelling even if it's a basic brick & not something licensed
or "special"

ya it sounds bad. once it was marked as cancelled I decide to just save time
and drop it and leave it be even though I had to spend $320 to qualify for that
promo...
