They ABSOLUTELY deserve negative feedback.

No it's NOT ridiculous and becayse the left a NEG feedback doesn't mean
you need to give them a NEG back.
Maybe they made a mistake with an other order?
Keep comm lines open at ALL times and wait. Do not realiate as this is the worst
action one can take. Even if it feels the right thing to do....

| In the Dutch AUP it says the fine applies for acounts mostly used for businesses:
Als u uw PayPal-rekening voornamelijk gebruikt ten behoeve van uw handels-, bedrijfs-,
ambachts- of beroepsuitoefening en u het Beleid inzake redelijk gebruik schendt,
In English (Google translate...)
If you use your PayPal account primarily for the purposes of your trade, business,
craft or profession and you violate the Acceptable Use Policy, then:
This is not stated as such in the English/US-version of the AUP.
Different legislations or discrimination of businesses over private users?

| Sorry to read you got in this situation Kevin.
Some comments....
"Whilst our store terms clearly state that we do not sort these 'issues'
as our policy."
It can't be read in a suspended store.
It is always needed to post damages likes punchholes at the item description
In the policy department this is what you MUST do:
Used Parts - Parts which have been previously used and are presumably still
in good, usable condition. If the parts show excessive wear, discoloration,
excessive scratches, other marks, etc. this should be noted in the *Comments*
field. Sticker sheets missing stickers must be listed as Used.
So I think your terms are in violation with the BL terms.
I read you were on holiday went a lot of red flags happened. Ever thought of
closing when you are away? That might have prevented these to happen?

Not saying this store but just in general. There really should be a better way
of handling the NSS situation. Run into three jerk buyers (or even one buyer
who places three orders) in a row and they have the ability to shutdown a store?
That just seems totally insane to me. We all know how long it takes the help
desk to respond. A seller can provide all the documentation they need. But if
the buyer doesn't remove the NSS, then the seller is held hostage to the
mercy of a help desk that never responds. Just seems like a situation that really
needs to be improved.

Well put where it needs fixing: the process!!!

| Thanks for clearing the origine of the forum-topic.
Still, it's the wrong analytical approach to fix things within the realm
of software engineering.
Gathering input is fine; but hey, how much data do you need to start FIXING the
thing.
If you cannot find the cause, rebuild a better process and test and implement
it.
Take the faulty process OFFLINE and put the improved one ONLINE.
When Kim (?) bought BL from the Jezek family, a LOT, A HUGE LOT of promises were
made.
Very few were kept. Almost nothing improved.
Now with LEGO at the wheel, most of the need-to-be-taken-care-of-fast list is
still on it, there's no agenda, there's no timeframe, no plan.
Does it work in the V2 version? Then reroute the old to the new. Problem fixed.

Author: | StarBrick | Posted: | Sep 24, 2022 05:08 | Subject: | "Help Desk Missing Ticket" - What?!!! | Viewed: | 123 times | Topic: | General | |
| I just landed in a surreal part of the forum after a post of a suspended store
asking for help here.
But, when did this specific topic became reality?
Seriously? When a forum mod creates a topic area specific for help desk tickets
gone missing, you really need to address to cause of it. NOT the symptoms.
If the Help Desk processes are badly run, FIX that instead of streamlining the
flow of alarming forum posts concerning the badly run Help Desk processes.
"Well, you have a leaking sewer. We will open a special helpline for posting
questions regarding leaking sewers for your convenience. Thank you for calling!"
NO!!! I need the sewer fixed. It won't fix itself by calling another helpline.
Fix the sewer!!!
Making my way back to another reality.... wish I never left it in the first place.

| And again we are at September 24th.
And again we stand still at the remebrance of Dan Jezek, who left this realm
12 years ago.
And again I am thankful for what he envisioned, what he build, and what he gave
to all of us.
Every year, I feel sad at one hand, and very, very, very thankful for what he
meant for so many.
Thanks, and build well!!!!
