Hello!
Is there any way I can get Lego bricks a certain color that doesn’t exist on
the catalog? Like, can I message Lego? Or do I just need to paint the piece?
Any help is appreciated.

Btw, I know that “selling modified bricks” is against tos, and so is selling
the “test bricks” so don’t start jumping all over me. I just want to know if
there is a way FOR MY PERSONAL MOCS.

My store is growing thanks so much in no small part to the tips and help from
experienced sellers on this forum.

Your time in guiding newbies like me is appreciated so much!

Now, my question if anyone can help is this:

I would like to offer a free shipping threshold, starting on a pretty high end,
but I am fearful to do so since I have a lot of instruction manuals for sale.

I enjoy providing the service of selling these even if it doesn't really
ever make me anything lol. But if it were to cost me I would not like that.

SO is there a way to exclude items from a free shipping on orders above $x$ while
still using instant checkout?

Any wisdom on this matter would be helpful!

Koper haalt pakketje niet op bij ServicePoint

Beste BrickLinkers,

Ik heb nu voor de tweede keer hetzelfde probleem en vraag me af hoe ik dit in
de toekomst kan voorkomen?

Koper kiest voor goedkopere verzending naar DHL ServicePoint, maar haalt het
pakketje niet op. Het pakketje blijft zo'n week liggen en koper ontvangt
intussen verschillende e-mailtjes van DHL met de oproep om het pakket op te komen
halen. Uiteindelijk stuurt DHL het pakketje retour afzender.

In beide gevallen ging het om geen Nederlands en gebrekkig Engels sprekende buitenlanders,
die het pakketje naar het huisadres van een vriend in Nederland wilden sturen,
maar (per ongeluk, door de taalbarrière?) voor het ServicePoint kozen.

Ben ik in zo'n geval verplicht om het volledige bedrag te vergoeden? Beide
keren heb ik namelijk wel het bedrag voor de items, maar niet de verzendkosten
teruggestort. Is het inderdaad de verantwoording van de koper om het pakket af
te (laten) halen, of valt dit onder mijn verantwoording als verkoper?

Alleen nog verzending naar huisadres aanbieden helpt niet 100%, denk ik. Want
bij niet thuis en geen buren die het pakket aan willen nemen, brengt DHL het
pakket alsnog naar het ServicePoint.

I'm currently without a car since mine isn't safe to drive currently.
That isn't a big problem since I work from home but to get packages shipped
off, I have been relying on pickup requests through PirateShip.

I had several packages picked up a few days ago but one of them still says that
USPS is awaiting the item. I'm not sure if I should have asked the buyer
if they wanted a refund, but I really don't want to keep someone waiting
for a package that'll never arrive. I guess I take the loss out of a desire
to keep people happy.

Really disappoints me since it was a $30 parts order after shipping.

Shipping method when BL has no dimensions

I run a UK-based store, and ship within the UK. A few months ago a Canada buyer
contacted me as he wanted an instruction sheet sent to Canada. I obliged, and
set up a shipping method for letters (max thickness 0.5cm) so he could place
the order. All went fine and he received his instrcution sheet a couple of weeks
later.

Today I have received an order through instant checkout for a minifigure from
a Canada buyer, using the shipping method that should restrict dimensions to
0.5cm. Now I dont ship parts and figures overseas anyway but I did some digging
and it turns out BL does not have dimensions in the inventory for the minifigure....presumbaly
this is how it slipped through and the buyer was able to order it.

I have suggested to the buyer that we should cancel the order...waiting to hear
back

Question: is there any way to stop Bricklink allowing orders through instant
checkout when there are no dimensions loaded, so I can prevent this from happening
again.

I'm writing to let you know of a couple of upcoming events that may affect you.

Firstly, due to a planned power outage on Thursday 18th August, it is with regret that I will be unable to despatch any orders that day. Normal service will resume on Friday 19th August.

I just received an updated terms and policy agreement from PayPal. I noticed
this:
-U.S. business accounts will not be able to receive personal transactions from
PayPal accounts outside the U.S. starting October 31, 2022.
-U.S. PayPal accounts will not be able to send personal transactions to business
accounts outside the U.S. starting October 31, 2022.

Now, I rarely purchase internationally and I don't sell, so this is probably
moot to me. But: could this have larger implications for others on BrickLink?

I did look through the archive to see if anyone else had brought this up, but
didn't readily see anything. Forgive me if it is a duplicate post.

I have only recently become aware that there are BAM exclusive Minifigs. Is there
any way to know what parts go with what fig? If I look up the torso I recently
acquired, a red and silver Falcon Knight, the set listed is just this, which
is marked for deletion:

Should I keep adding inventory or sell by price per pound bag? It is a good
idea to open a store to the only buyer to buy bulk to clean out my inventory?
it will take a while to sort all pieces by pieces in order or ask the buyer to
buy all in the bag? I am not sure if it sounds like a loss benefit for me to
spend a pretty lot invest on the ship project, but l lost the motive to do it.
I just looking for a tip to sell my all legos to clean out.

Do I understand correctly we pay a fee over the total order amount, including
shipping cost?

So if my shipping is 30 euro of the total, I pay 3% or more over the shipping
amount?

If this is the case, has this been contested? Why should I pay a fee to BL for
