  Hi all

I’m looking for help on how to get a NSS removed. I’ve dealt with the problem
by refunding the buyer in full, contacted the buyer multiple times asking them
to remove it and contacted BL 5 times asking them to remove it ( providing the
evidence I refunded the buyer )

But just get ignored

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers Oggy

Happened to me earlier in the year - only got removed after posting in the forum.

Hopefully your post will do the trick!

Or suggestions about how I might access the correct bricks.

Many thanks,

Thank you for readind

It doesn't work like that!

You need to place an order with someone and get them to leave feedback. The idea
is that you have an understanding of how the site works before you jump straight
into it as well as starting to build a reputation as being trustworthy.

It is just a couple of miles from me. The sad thing is once you are in the maze,
it could be any pattern, you wouldn't know.

I wonder what the LEGO lawyers think of it.

The fact that the head of marketing for UK and Ireland has commented on it i'm
guessing they're ok with it! I wonder if LEGO were contacted beforehand?

In Problem Order, Papanours writes:
  Hello,

I currently have two orders with problems and I'd like to know how much time
on average a seller should be given to 1) answer and acknowledge a complaint
and 2) solve the problem.

Problem 1) fake Lego received (a good copy so seller didn't notice). I immediately
notified the seller and he quickly offered a full refund which I quickly accepted.
2 days later and still no refund.

Problem 2) new minifig delivered with clear blemish on torso (more than a simple
scratch).
I immdeiately sent a message through Bricklink and photos by email. 2 says later
and no reply.

I know this is subjective, but given how serious the problems are (fake Lego
& flawed "new" item) I think it is only reasonable that a seller should act quickly.

However, I am not a seller so I don't know how much work running a store
can be.
How long should I wait before taking the next step (NSS? or Paypal complaint?).
How long should I wait before sending a reminder?

thanks in advance

NT

Most sellers run their stores part time and have other 'proper' jobs
- obviously some of the larger stores do this full time so really depends on
the seller.

Personally I try and reply as quickly as possible - generally the same/next day.
But it really would depend on the sellers situation.

I think you need to allow a maximum of 7 days for them to reply, maybe a reminder
after 3 or 4 days if no replies.

It's been about 12 days since my order and payment and I am confused on what
I should do - the seller has 200+ positive and just 1 neutral review so he seems
legit...
Any suggestions ?
Thx

If it's not shipped after 10+ days and they're not responding to messages
then I would definitely start the NSS - that will more then likely get their
attention.

Just make sure you cancel the NSS if they do send the order.

Also the fact that you paid by paypal should things not work out then you will
be able to claim your money back through them.

Sorry you're having problems so early on!! most sellers on here are brilliant!!

Take a breath and think over it.

No one asked you to close your store.

No one asked you not to advertise reasonably.

What we were trying to tell you is that:
— posting everyday doesn’t help you,
— posting everyday upsets people.

From which stores do YOU buy?
Those that have what you want and do their job?
Or those that shout the loudest?

I'm beginning to think he's an underage seller?

Not listening to anyone's advice and then getting upset and making things
worse for himself - that's the kind of thing children do!

I would imagine the only thing that is increasing is the number of people blocking

  Hi,

Could anyone with experience or who knows about this stuff clarify what to do
with the IOSS number (selling from UK to Europe), I recently sold something to
Lithuania and the buyer had to pay VAT twice even though I did what I was advised
to do by the local post office.

Thanks

You need to buy postage online in advance - if you pay at the post office it
won't work and your buyer will indeed be charged twice.

When you buy online you enter the IOSS number which gets transmitted in advance
- then when the package hits the destination country they will already know that
VAT has been paid and won't charge again.

I also learnt this the hard way despite doing everything I was supposed to, followed
all the guidelines etc!

  Thanks Pat and Alex,
Some really good tips there. I had heard it was important to get large quantities
but I didn't realise it was that much of a factor. ATM I just part out the
sets using the 'average 6 months sales' prices? How does that sound?
Or would you recommend doing that and then adding a 10% sale or something to
make my prices more competitive.
Regards,
Jared

6 month average has served me well!

I've only ever done sale's twice as I wasn't sure how much difference
they actually made as everything sells eventually.

10% off - made no noticeable difference to the amount of orders received.
20% off - made a very noticeable difference!!!

but the parts don't seem to be selling. Am I missing anything? Any tips of
what sets I should be getting? 3 times the money sounded like good turnover to

Regards,

Just keep adding to your inventory and the orders will come.

you don't have many of each part - adding more of the same parts can help
bring orders in, try and buy multiples of the same sets to part out.

I have the following problem:

A buyer bought a minifigure from my shop that was still sealed in the bag and
also received it.
Now the order has been set to "Received" for days and the buyer does not respond

I know what he is pushing for: He wants to force me to give a valuation first
and only then does the buyer set the order to "Completed".

This is clearly against the terms of BrickLink.

What should I do or who from BrickLink can help me?

Best regards Daniel and stay healthy.

I find this post very odd for someone with such a high feedback score as yourself

Why is it like that?

As a buyer my part is done as soon I have paid. Why does the sellers wait or
even never give feedback?
I not really care for my numbers of feedback because i will only buy. Aslong
the seller dont give feedback I will also not rate them. Or should I give neutral
rating cause of the lack of them giving feedback?

how many sellers have added you to their stoplists already?

Feedback is optional and can not be forced by either buyers or sellers. If you
want the seller to leave you feedback then maybe start by leaving the seller
positive feedback and then send a polite message asking them to do the same.

leaving a negative or neutral feedback for not receiving feedback is a big no
no.

I had an unwarranted NSS filed against me.

Despite me trying to communicate with the buyer to find out what his issue is
I haven’t got anywhere.

He claimed to only have received 1/4 of his order. That is all I know as he has
not responded to my messages asking for further information/photos. He also came
across very aggressive in the 1 message I did get from him.

Tracking shows his order was delivered.

I filed a request to BrickLink last week to have the NSS removed but have had
no reply - not even an acknowledgment of the request to cancel the NSS. Is this
normal?

Is there anything else I can do?

I know this topic has probably been discussed many times, but how many missing
pieces should there be for me to complain to the seller about it? I sometimes
placed orders, which came with a couple of missing/unoriginal pieces, and never
really cared when 1 or 2 dollars worth of pieces weren't there.

Not so long ago I placed a 78 lot 1600ish piece order, from which there were
66(!) mistakes in 14 lots (even 1 entire lot missing). Is there logic in sending
a message to the seller for him to either refund me or send the missing parts?

You should absolutely contact the seller.

You've paid for 1600ish pieces and clearly not received everything you paid
for. Any decent seller will work with you to find a reasonable solution.

It will also help the seller to keep their inventory correct!
