Meanwhile as evidenced by all of the forum posts from newbies trying to figure
out how to use the site half of BrickLink users can't even figure out how

This part does not exist in blue. The page should show no image. Since this is
a bug and cannot be solved by the catalog admin team, this post has been moved
to "Technical Issues".

Does this part even exist? Apart from people modifying the Blue pins with ridges.
I assume most of them listed are just identified wrong.

Maybe try Brick Seller. The Part Out feature has many options and the process
is designed to refresh the page every 5 seconds to provide feedback on the progress
so there is no limit to the size of the set that can be parted out.

This happens occasionally. As Sylvain said, BrickLink seems to limit the number
of pages that a user can load per day. Perhaps try again later or try from a
different device if possible.

Have you browsed a lot?

Because there’s a (unspecified but low) limit on the number of pages you can
load per day.  (Don’t ask me what a “day” is for the purpose of this limit.)

This may seem obvious, but are you changing the quantity first? Does it work
the same from the pop-up and the list view?

If you wish to sell Sets, like sets in sealed boxes, chose Set and not
Original Box for the Type.

Original Box is for the box itself, an empty box.

This is likely because your operating system is not up to date with the most
current version, you will have to download an earlier version of studio. This
can be done on the downloads page.

I recently had a file that kept crashing until I removed all spaces.

Spaces around the elements?

I mean, not inside some field-tags:
— [ITEMID]3001[/ITEMID] = okay
— [ITEMID] 3001 [/ITEMID] = k.o.

Hmm, just did a small test:
— spaces inside itemid = error on the ID (it doesn’t remove the spaces),
— spaces inside color = color N/A (it doesn’t remove the spaces, and transforming
a space into an integer gives 0),
— space at the beginning of itemtype = error on the item ID,
— space at the end of itemtype = it works.

Well, anyway, the parser is not robust enough, it should at least strip the texts
for all the fields before converting & using their values (well, debatable for
remarks: some people might use spaces for a reason…).

And I still don’t get why WL XML files can’t be uploaded like the other file
types (= you need to copy-paste).

I think that spaces within Remarks were also an issue...

(missing closing tag…).
The message OP has is really about not finding ‘3704’ in the catalogue.
That’s why I think maybe Excel added something (fine space?) around or inside
it and Perl just copied it.

BTW, ramicio2, your Perl script could check for the presence of non-pure ASCII
characters (ord 127).
(AFAIK, the WL can have unicode characters in the remarks field… but you don’t
use them )

  I use Notepad++. Toggling the option to show literally all characters, there
is nothing inside the data of the CSV spat out by Excel. Same with the XML that
Perl generated. Luckily I had a model of what I needed, and I can also import
an io file, and did so. I'm not privy to all the new software that's
out for Lego stuff. Thank you.

Note that BrickStore does all this freely and open-source (create list, import
list, import studio... then export xml, wanted-list, bsx...)
And you don't have to fix anything

Are you sure there’s no special (invisible) character around 3704?

Have you tried without that item?  If it blocks on the next item… and the next
and the next, then something is wrong with the formatting.  If the others pass,
then it’s just that item.

I think you can't, just message your buyer saying you wanted to mark it as
shipped and mistakenly put completed.

You could also try to open a ticket for an admin to change it back, but that
would take time.

Buyer can change it as well, he or she can set it to another status (not sure
what, not shipped) and then you can set it to shipped.

(Have done it once by accident as well, but with 3 orders in the same go )

Hi there,

I have a problem with the shipping methods. I have added several shipping methods,
both for domestic and international customers. But the system only shows one
option on the checkout page. What am I doing wrong? I have tried to group the
methods, ungroup and chancing icon colours to the same colour for eg. domestic
customers, with no succes. Please help someone

I have also stopped receiving push notifications since a couple of months. I
did not change any of the code or server settings. It worked perfectly before.

There's a separate tab for uploading XML (see pic).
Change tabs, select the Wanted List from the drop down list and then copy/paste

  Hello. I've tried to pay via onsite payment a few times, and for some reason
it never works for me. Is it because I'm from Brazil, or maybe I'm missing
something else? The first time it happened, I thought it was a paypal problem,
but after contacting them, they had no idea what it was all about, and I discovered
it was a problem with the onsite payment option, I've never had this problem
paying anything manually via paypal, and this problem is consistent, I've
ran into it every single time I try to pay via onsite payment. It's really
not that much of a bother, but since some sellers don't provide the option
of offsite payment, it's always kind of awkward when I have to message them
explaining that I can't pay onsite.

I don't know why Bricklink doesn't solve this issue or send a message
to sellers explaining it and asking to have another option than PayPal onsite.
Some stores only accept Paypal onsite.

Une de tes listes a deux fois la même combinaisons pièce + couleur (deux lignes
pour la même pièce dans la même couleur), et ça bloque l’édition de TOUTES les
listes.

Ouvre tes listes une par une, il doit y avoir un message au bas de l’une d’elles
indiquant qu’il y a un problème.
Il te faut alors corriger le problème dans cette liste (effacer le doublon ou
la liste) pour pouvoir éditer les autres.

Does you cart appear okay or says that needs attention?

If not, try to change the quantity of any item and click at the bottom "update
cart" and then change it back and retry.

This happened to me once. After the 3rd attempt it finally showed as going thru
.... 3 times Luckily it was only 19 cents!

I think I've seen this problem when having some "exotic" chars in the description/message
field.

Simply remove any text?

You put them in Sale for +X% or -Y% then use the option "Make sale prices (and
all tier prices) the base prices." It should make the same result as the old
bug for My Cost form.

for years now updating my prices. Fixing that is ok - now it does what it says.

Did you check your PayPal/Stripe account?
What does it say?

If it's fully paid, ignore BrickLink status and ship!
It not paid, issue an NPB.
