Some of the Reddish Gold parts from the Knights' Kingdom II sets (8796, 8791)
appear to exist as alternate in Pearl Gold. Anyone know if the swords, torsos,
shields, etc also exist in PG?

Aside from the attached photos, there is also this comparison picture:

The third new color for 2022 is arriving with the release of 75325 The Mandalorian's
N-1 Starfighter, as well as a handful of Friends sets - like Medium Brown, a
skin tone, this time used for the Mandalorian's skin tone. I believe this
is 371 Warm Tan, and looks to be somewhere between Light Nougat and Nougat, but
with a more yellow hue.

I figure Warm Tan is fine as a name, but I figured I should bring attention to
it.

Does anyone know what color the hoses are for Luke's Landspeeder? I don't
have any hoses near to that color to compare them. My guess was flat silver,
but it doesn't seem to match that color in other parts. I saw somewhere else
they were calling it Metallic Silver, but I don't know.

I have purchased a bulk buy of accessories and it seems that there are two colors
of gold for this part. It seems a clear difference in color like one is pearl
gold and the other is metallic pearl gold. Or even pearl light gold.

The part color only shows pearl gold.

There are separate numbers on them too: 11-02 and 05-02.

Thanks

Dear all,

I've built myself a color-chart with all existing 3023 plates which are (or
have been) available from Lego. I currently own 73 colors right now. One color
is a "Chrome Pink" plate. I'm happy to send over an image of it but it exactly
what it sounds: a pink, chrome, lego plate 1x2 studs.

My question is: Is it possible that Lego ever produced that on there own as I
can't find it anywhere else other than on my color-chart

Thanks for your thoughts.

Oliver

I am not an expert on Bionicles, but I understand that the feet, head, and carapace
on all six of the original Rahkshi were pearl versions of the prime Mata/Nuva
colors.

The only example I have to hand is a Rahkshi head bought as "Chrome Green", others
are on sale as "Metallic Green". It clearly does not match either the Chrome
Green "Rock 1 x 1 Crystal 5 Point", or any of the Technic Metallic Green parts.
Yet it definitely has a metallic sheen compared to normal Green. I believe that
by analogy with the Pearl White already in the catalog there should be a Pearl
Green available for Bionicle Foot Rahkshi; Bionicle Head, Rahkshi; and Bionicle
Rahkshi Back Cover with Groove
.

There may well be a case for other Pearl colors for these parts, but I am not
in possession of the items necessary to do such a diagnosis.

This is my first Post to this Forum, so if it is inappropriate, please forgive
me.

These windows come from set 4768, a set that had this part in both 'Copper'
and TLG 297 Warm Gold across two different releases. My assumption is that the
first 2005 release had this part in what we believe is Copper and that a 2006
release had these in TLG 297 Warm Gold. Sets with alternates (especially during
this year) had different colors in a second wave after a color used in the first
wave was retired, which is why I wasn't too confident that this part appeared
in TLG 139 Copper, as it wasn't removed until around 2008. I'll attach
a photo and would love to know what you guys think!

Hello,

We got some

Set No: 41917 Name: Magic Forest
*
41917-1 (Inv) Magic Forest
33 Parts, 2020
Sets: Dots: Bracelet

And there is this part

Part No: 65092 Name: Rock 1 x 1 Jewel Octagonal
*
65092 Rock 1 x 1 Jewel Octagonal
Parts: Rock {Satin Trans-Dark Pink}

But when sorting I noticed there are 2 clearly distinguishable colors.

Satin Trans-Dark Pink and what appears "Satin Bright Pink".

The first is the one on the right of the pictures, it has transparency and it
is darker just like Trans-Dark Pink but with the Satin. The other, the one on
the left is pink with no transparency at all.

Both have molded 65002 inside, so a change in plastic material seems not as it
usually means a change in mold...

As my "Brick 2 x 4" color collection (every different color) is complete now,
I wanted to check for other colors (of course I'm missing some trans-colors).

I saw that "Brick 1 x 1" comes in many different colors (at least more than "Brick
2 x 4").
Is there a way to find the part that comes in most different colors in the Lego
universe?

Thanks!

We had an order with a color error.
We didn't see the stock we put for sale was the wrong color.
No problem.

But it was mainly because of the confusing "Medium" term in colors:

Medium Violet: is lighter than Violet
Medium Blue: is lighter than Blue
Medium Green: is lighter than Green
Medium Lime: is lighter than Lime
Medium Orange: is lighter than Orange

BUT, at the opposite...

Medium Nougat: is DARKER than Nougat
Medium Lavender: is DARKER than Lavender

Proposal: Just like Medium Dark Pink, couldn't we rename those to:
Medium Dark Nougat
Medium Dark Lavender?

This way it would be clear that those are darker than the original.

Ah - and BTW, why Medium Azure and not Azure?

If it's not a problem, simply ignore it.

Hi all,

Does anybody know or have a hunch about what parts will be made in the new colours?

Neon Yellow has already been used for many types (tiles, plates, bricks, slopes…)
but Medium Brown has only been used so far for “skin” (heads and mini doll torsos).
Do you think MBn will (soonishly) be used for bricks & plates?

And what about the expected Warm Tan?

All -

The BrickLink catalog team has reached a consensus on this matter.

The new LEGO "Medium Brown" will be going into the catalog as "Medium Brown".

The color formerly known as "Dark Flesh" for most of BrickLink's existence
and then more recently renamed to "Medium Brown" only a couple of years ago will
be renamed to "Light Brown".

We feel that the newest color should definitely have its own place, and that
it will cause the least amount of confusion for all to have it named what LEGO
has named it. This then obviously requires the old color name to need changing.

"Light Brown" was settled on for two main reasons:

(1) The "Light" token has been used extensively in the past for colors on BrickLink
to differentiate tones.
(2) The official name for the color by LEGO is "Brown".

Therefore, "Light Brown" respects the heritage of the history of BrickLink colors
as well as the heritage of the LEGO name for it. Since the color is technically
lighter than BrickLink "Brown", it also works nicely in the system.

The changes to the catalog will be completed over the next few days to install
the newest color to the LEGO family.

Thank you for all of the discussion in the forums concerning this matter. The
team really appreciates it.

Cheers,
Randy

Maybe I missed it, but with the new Medium Brown coming out (Hogwarts Magical
Trunk is for sale today), I wanted to see if there would be another discussion,
like there was with Neon Yellow.

It strikes me as similar to BL Medium Brown, so I could certainly see "New Medium
Brown". Also I made a swatch based on similar colors. I'd really like to
see what everyone thinks, but honestly one of the key reasons I'm bringing
it up is that I *do not* want to see both colors covered by one BL name.

I can easily id: chrome gold, chrome antique brass, and chrome silver. The plate
on the upper right isn't quite gold and it isn't quite silver. So what
is it?

When I looked at the picture from the side I could see a bit of darkening around
the base of the stud, but not enough that I would really call it antique brass.
What would you classify this color as?

Thanks for your input.

I have noted a significant color variation in the basic red, both in parts purchased
via Bricklink and in the Ducati set 42107.

So far it has only occurred, to my limited knowledge, in the connector 22961,
which is often not visible on a completed model.

Has anyone noted a variation in more significant parts?
