Does anyone else have problems placing orders using Lego's website?

I almost always have to call to place an order after trying 4 or 5 times online.
This happens about 80% of the time- its just weird. It's not the credit card,
the cookies, the order or the browser. The last two times I've called, the
order went through as I was on the phone. This never happened before and it's
very frustrating...let me know if you have similar issues or a fix!

Thanks,

Upstate_Brickz

Hello everyone, I’ve often found these small kind of discs inside lego lots.
Are these lego parts or I can throw them away once for all?

Thank you very much.

The old boat sets always mentioned that there were model motors not made by LEGO
that could be added to the sets and the hulls were equipped with attachment points
for them. Does anyone know what they were referring to or has anyone ever seen
one of these motors? The double hull speedboat set is the only one I know of
that came with a motor (made by LEGO) and the newer city themed boats no longer
have the attachment points and don't mention them.

This has been mystery to me since I was a kid, and now with a pretty extensive
boat collection myself and the power of the internet I still can't find them
referenced anywhere.

Hi everyone!

As someone who has just rediscovered the magic of Lego, I wanted to start this
topic because I'm curious about your experiences. As a girl growing up in
the 90's I didn't have that much 'cool' Lego myself. My mom was
happy to have a daughter, so the few sets I had were actually from the very girlish
Belville and Scala.

I am now 30 years old and I look (with admiration and maybe some envy) at the
amazing things adults build on programs like LegoMasters. It inspired me to get
my boyfriend's childhood Lego out of the basement... and that was the start
of a new era! The Dark Age is over, now I am busy working on my plans to build
my own city.

No more creepy Scala-dolls with 'real' hair, but good old minifigs. Or
maybe amazing NEW minifigs, because all the new sets look absolutely amazing
compared to the somewhat boring and discoloured 90's lego I am sorting now.
I bought a few small boxes and polybags, mainly because I was so curious about
the 'real life' look from current Lego.

And now I'm at a bit of a crossroads. I want to build my own city, probably
an island city. I have some old base- and roadplates and even though they are
somewhat discoloured I don't mind using them. But they are big, so I have
doubts if they are really practical. The new roads look great, but they seem
expensive and the budget is limited. I also have to buy some new buildings after
all and many cool sets (especially the Lego creative expert sets) are quite expensive.
So many choices to make!

I am curious about the experiences of my fellow Bricklink-users.
How did you get started after your love for Lego returned?

And if you have any tips for me to get started, feel free to share!
Surely there is something you wish you had known before starting your collection.

PS: My native language is actually Dutch, so if I'm using unusual English...
don't attack me for it please.

why my 12v Lego transformer doesn't work well. While trains running, power
get off suddenly, after few seconds it starts again and so on....
May be it's overloaded? Or it comes damaged?

Someone could help me? Tks a lot...

To Me Lego is a beautiful collection of plastic bricks. These bricks can be made
into hundreds, millions and even billions of things.

Lego can come as a set with instructions. A group of pieces to build anything.
Maybe even a character from Muppets or Looney Tunes.

I have been building Lego for years and it has helped me with everything. When
I'm down or annoyed I like to sit down at my Lego table and build away.
Some of my MOC projects can least a few weeks (Lego Minecraft Ghast MOC). And
others can only take a few days, (Lego Christmas Tree Ornaments).

I just love to sit down at the end of a long day and build something with Lego.
I love going onto YouTube and seeing some cool new Lego Set Leaks. I am hyped
everyday because I know that there will always be something cool on the Bricklink
Forums or something on The Brothers Brick.

I can't explain how much Lego has helped me over the years. And as I know
hundreds of people around me also share my love of Lego.

As the years have gone by Lego has changed so much. They have gone from basic
sets like Lego Police Patrol Car (Set #600) to beautiful masterpieces like the
Lego Vintage Typewriter (Set #21327).

I have grown up with Lego around me for the past 10 years. Even as a young kid
I played with Duplo.

I thank Lego for its HUGE role in my life and the amount of happiness it has
brought me.

What do you think Lego is? What does the plastic brick mean to you?

What is LEGO? People keep talking about it on the forum but I have no idea what
it is. I tried to order some from a seller on BrickLink but all I received were
small pieces of plastic in various shapes and colors. Please help.

I am wondering what I can do to make my own suicide squad minfifgures. I am happy
with the Lego Polka Dot Man (sh397). I would like any suggestions on Harley Quin
as well as King Shark, Rat Catcher, Peace Maker and Javelin.

Any suggestions please let me know, Preferable purist lego (no glue or removal

Thanks,

Rant incoming...

Pick a brick has become a joke since the change. Only 1227 items of 12582 in
stock, that is less than 10% of the items in stock. It had only been getting
worse since it was changed over.

It has been my experience that if you order both bestsellers and standard parts,
you will only get VIP applied properly (when they ship) on bestsellers and I've
had to call to get my points on standard parts when they arrive at my home, they
do not get applied when shipped like bestsellers.

...end of rant. Thanks for listening.

There was a leak a while back that TLG was going to start a subscription service
where you could buy old retired sets. Is there any news on which sets yet? Maybe
something amazing like 10123 Cloud City or will it just be spare sets that
nobody wanted, like the 2017 AT ST from Last Jedi?

I’m working on building a shelf to hold my minifigs. I’m going to cut the baseplate
into rows so the figs can stand on the studs. How do I prevent cracking of the
heels on minifigs? I’ve had a 2003 green goblin with perfect condition legs that
somehow got cracked heels just from standing on studs. Is there any way to prevent
rare figures from getting cracked heels from being displayed on studs?

I’m trying to identify this figure. I keep coming across them in bulk lots; in
the UK.
They are usually Futuron or Blacktron I figures.
Everything is glued; except the legs still bend and you can remove the hands.
And they all have this non standard white piece on the back of the torso.
I have looked on Bricklink, Brickset & done a general Google search. Other than
a couple of images of people trying to sell them, without saying precisely what
they are, I cannot find anything.
I am now guessing they are something unofficial.
So does anyone know what they are?

Hello - I am working on "restoring" the sets from my childhood (mid-late 90s)
and in the process of piecing things back together I noticed subtle differences
in the undersides of plates and bricks in my collection. These included:

Bricks 2x4 or larger with cross supports
Bricks of all sizes without cross supports
Bricks with hollow pins and without cross supports

Plates with solid pins on underside
Plates with hollow pins on underside

Can anyone tell me what years the molds changed? I would like to be as accurate
as possible when piecing sets back together.

So I keep checking under TLG's 'rewards' to see the next Collectibles...waiting
for a small set or some cool thing...

Yes, they came back with the coins but I already had them from the first release.

Finally, those hideous Fiat prints have been removed...so there is nothing for
me.

So I have thousands of points which I know I could use for some nice discounts
but I was wondering if anyone knew what the next collectible or free set might
appear there? Hate to submit my rewards for a discount just before something
cool was released that required points....

Thanks for any info

Well folks, it seems as though I have reached the point that all avid Lego collectors
never hope to reach. I have ran out of space for more Lego. I still plan on collecting,
but it appears that I will have to get creative with the limited space I have.
Most of my sets are assembled and on display, so perhaps I could disassemble
some of them and put them in storage? I believe it is doable, but it will also
be time consuming. If you have found yourself in a similar position before, what
did you do to create more space? Interested to see what all of you have to say.
Thanks.

Going through a bunch of used decorated panels. Stickers incorrectly applied,
pieces that are more expensive without the stickers, decorated items that are
hard to find; most of you know that pain. Makes us wonder sometimes if it's
worth the work.

Then we find something like this and our eyes pop out of our heads.

Hello 👋

While sorting some Plate Round 1x1 items we got confused with the color Trans-Neon-Orange.
Did LEGO produce two different kinds of this color, or am I just wrong and I
am looking at two different colors?
I put a flame item in Trans-Orange next to them.

Hi there,

I'm able to buy a Mister Gold, but I'm not sure if it's genuine

Here are 3 pictures:
https://imgur.com/gallery/b34rTUi

After watchting this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3nPLGZnWTI (sorry
for german)
And also this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRLegYMRsb0

What bothers me:
*) Although there is a Lego logo, the white one (white neck, white hips) doesn't
seem to be correct
*) It looks a little bit too golden
*) The head has "Hollow Stud" instead of "Blocked Open Stud" (which should be
genuine, according to the first video) - but on the other hand, bricklink says
"Hollow Stud" as well.
*) The Lightsaber part is "chromed" all the way up, not just up to half of the
end.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I need to know if the right number of bags are present?
Is there a site maybe that has different sets listed detailing how many bags

Or does anyone know?

Hello,

I know that once you 'cash-in' your Lego points for a rebate or item
code that you have a limited amount of time to use it/them.

But what about the points in general? Do they expire? If so, how can you see
how much time is left on certain points vs others?

When you buy something, are the 'older points' used first?

Thanks,

Hello,

I just assembled some sets from the 80s/90s and found several bricks of the same
type, but one was strangely loose and does not fit as good as the others. Also,
with closer examination, I noted that this one had a different "LEGO" font. So
were there different fonts in the 80s or is it even a real LEGO brick?

See pictures, the first brick is the odd one.

So I just received the new Easter themed Lego catalog in the mail yesterday and
both of the sets that would be ideal for their promotion are already sold out.
The promotion starts on Friday of this week.

Set No: 40523 Name: Easter Rabbits Display
*
40523-1 (Inv) Easter Rabbits Display
288 Parts, 2022
Sets: Holiday & Event: Easter

Set No: 40463 Name: Easter Bunny
*
40463-1 (Inv) Easter Bunny
293 Parts, 2021
Sets: Holiday & Event: Easter

It's basically a worthless catalog. Why not release the sets on the day
of the promo?

Does anyone know the origin of the Pearl Light Gray and Green Fett helmets (x50
Minifigure, Headgear Helmet SW Rocket Pack)? It's the same part number as
the white helmet from the Polybag prototype Boba Fett, but they never appeared
in any set or minifigs. I bought 10 of the Pearl Light Gray ones here 15 years
ago (for $2.50 each! ), so before 3-D printing or Chinese knockoffs were
rampant. They appear to be legit. I recently purchased one green one, too,
just to have in my collection (just ordered, so not in hand yet.)

Why does the SW0122 have a yellow head? Is this an error on BrickLink’s part?
This figure was released in 2005 after TLG had already switched to flesh tones.
Does the figure actually have a yellow head or is it a black head like other
stormtrooper figs during this time period?

I have finally decided to start recording videos of my collection, come to have
a look and comment I will be adding more videos over time as my collection is
growing and has over 50 different sets which I plan to record. There will be
not only original sets put together but MOC's from various themes. For now,
it's just a clean build video but over time I will add fast build videos
as well.

Hello all

First post so bear with me.

I'm looking at turning my Haunted House into a modular building. I'm
sure someoone from Germany created a good one? Looking to purchase the extra
parts.

Can anyone shed light on this? Help with getting me started.

Thank you

Does anyone on here happen to know why 14417 and a few other towball pieces have
recessed studs, and not top studs like most other pieces? Just want my curiosity
itch scratched.

Thanks,
Miles (C0lsanders_)

Hello everyone,

I own a lego SW0117 with a misprinted face. The head print is printed way too
low on the head, and the mouth and eyes seem much too big for a normal figure.
Has anyone encountered a figure like this before?

Kind regards, LEGOfan1138
