Please fix this "go back" button to load the orders page not actually go back
a page. This requires me to hit refresh in order to see what order needs feedback
next. It's not an issue when there are only 1 or 2 but more than that and
it can get a little annoying.

This issue was observed on Chrome, it may react differently on other browsers,
if so I would love to hear about which ones if the button works!

Thanks!

Still does not work in IE11 either.

Also doesn't work in Edge.

Admins, please re-open this because whatever the fix was, it appears to be long
gone.

Best regards,

Agreed! I've been working around it for so long, I think I would be confused
if it started working.

I assume you're already aware, but you can run Buy All on multiple lists
- select it from one list, then on the results page check the others lists you
want and hit Apply to update the results.

To me, it seems that what you're suggesting would be way too niche to be
a worthwhile use of BL's limited development resource.

I'd like to see (knowing this will probably take some time!) the ability
for a wanted list to store multiple copies of the same model within the one wanted
list.

I have a bunch of rolling stock that are all copies of the same model. Rather
than having multiple wanted lists or a single wanted list with multiples of the
parts (e.g. 16 of a part for 4 copies of 4 parts each), it might be nicer to
manage as a bunch of copies of the same model within the wanted list.

This would still allow me to do "buy all" which would get all missing parts of
all copies in one go, but would allow me also to know when one copy is fully
ready to build even if I haven't got parts for *all* copies (so I can start
building that one while waiting for other orders to arrive).

Best regards,
-J

I'd like the wanted list quantity that can be applied to be allowed to be
0.

I am in the process of building multiple copies of the same sets of rolling stock.
I have one wanted list of each from when I first uploaded them (to verify that
the build would work IRL) and now that I've done that I want to build 4 or
5 more of each.

I'm making each copy a separate wanted list for my own management (so once
I've got all the parts for one I can start building it while more parts arrive).
Rather than uploading from the studio file each time (which is a lengthy process
for some of these models due to their size), I thought I'd simply copy the
existing wanted list. However, they've all got the quantity set to full and
the mechanism to reset doesn't allow it to go to 0; the message says it must
be positive.

Thanks and best regards,
-J

The current New User Tutorial links to a VERY OLD uTube Video and was last updated
in 2013.
I‘m no content creator but surely someone within Bricklink can solve this dilemma.
The home page looks completely different now and it’s about time that the site
made things current and easy to follow for new users.

The best way to drive sales to the platform is through education. Introduce people
and teach them how to use it.
Win/Win sales generate fee revenue.

Just spent hours scouring uTube for Bricklink Tutorials and it’s a mess videos
are 10min to 40min in length.
Most tutorials are too long and/or become information overload.
The site needs a series of short, easy to follow video tutorials split into categories
for BUYERS and SELLERS example:

1. How to register an account (the number of people that can’t manage this simple
set would blow your mind, so many people get stuck and give up entirely and move
on to eBay or Brickowl)
2. How to navigate the site
3. How to create a wanted list
4. How to place an order
5. How to request a quote
6. How to request an invoice

Similar tutorials for sellers.

Please HELP - ANYONE?

I as a seller find it extremly anoying that my order status is set to Paid, and
that I cannot set it to Pending or processing without switching all kind of order
status around.

Payment and Order status are 2 different things.

Yes but no...

If an Order is Paid it must be automatically Packed (or such closed status),
so the buyer cannot add to it, and the seller cannot remove items for example.

But if FULLY refunded, it should retrieve either Pending or such.

In short, payment and order status are linked somewhere.
It's more or less how it works right now.

The problem is not that a Seller has too many statusses to choose from. The problem
is that a Payment status is used by BL within the Order status.

Order Status should be:
Pending
Processing
Processed or Packed
Shipped
Completed (if you like)
Returned
Cancelled

Payment status:
Pending
Sent
Paid or Payment received
Bounced
(Partially) Refunded

If the order was Paid through onsite Payment that should result in Paid in the
Payment Status.
Order status can then still be Pending, as I as a seller have not started processing
the order yet.

NSS should be based upon Payment status, not Order status.

I as a seller find it extremly anoying that my order status is set to Paid, and
that I cannot set it to Pending or processing without switching all kind of order

Payment and Order status are 2 different things.

From the perspective of a very new buyer, there are too many status options available
to sellers.

In my situation, I instantly paid for an order. After a week, the seller updated
the order status from "paid" to "processing." As a result, I am unable to submit
a NSS complaint until 1 week after the seller updated the order status, even
though there has been no material change and the only action to date is my payment.
(And yes, I did reach out to the seller, but never received a response).

There is still 1 more day before the 2nd week expires, and the seller will have
the opportunity to use another of the many status options available to delay
the NSS complaint another week. I imagine this could continue and prohibit me
from ever initiating the NSS process.

My suggestion is that BrickLink change this functionality so that once an order
is "paid" a seller cannot update the status to earlier in the timeline. The
only options available after "paid" should be "packed" and "shipped." There
should be no reason for an order to be "processing," which indicates the seller
is creating an invoice, after the order has been paid.

Would it be possible for item removal requests to have the part number listed
with the part to locate and insure correct part is being either deleted or adjusted
quantity......from the seller's perspective it would be helpful and should
only be a minor update I would think...thanks!

When searching for SOME color of parts, we often find things that are counterparts
of themselves, and not real other parts that can fit into the role.

look at that:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4185&colorID=5&in=A

An experienced fellow told me it's because the part be inside an assembly.

I actually don't understand why the pulley, alone, would be listed as a counterpart.
The assembly is the counterpart.

Let’s look how it works for minifigure parts: the results is the set the part
appears in and the whole minifigure it appears in.  So, you get the same set
twice, which skews the quantities¹, but at least you know that it came in a minifigure.

E.g.:
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=2531&colorID=74&in=A
(¹ That part in Trans-Medium Blue is said to appear (“be known”) twice but there’s
actually only one in the set.)

There’s more and more big assemblies in Counterparts that are minifigs-but-not-minifigs
(so, not just wheel + tyre or part + sticker) and, IIUC, there’s a plan to harmonize
that (those assemblies and the minifigs).  This suggestion would be a good step
toward that harmonization.
