Hello fellow bricklinkers,
I am wondering what I can do to make my own suicide squad minfifgures. I am happy
with the Lego Polka Dot Man (sh397). I would like any suggestions on Harley Quin
as well as King Shark, Rat Catcher, Peace Maker and Javelin.

Any suggestions please let me know, Preferable purist lego (no glue or removal
of printing).

Thanks,
The Cute Giraffe

Rant incoming...

Pick a brick has become a joke since the change. Only 1227 items of 12582 in
stock, that is less than 10% of the items in stock. It had only been getting
worse since it was changed over.

It has been my experience that if you order both bestsellers and standard parts,
you will only get VIP applied properly (when they ship) on bestsellers and I've
had to call to get my points on standard parts when they arrive at my home, they
do not get applied when shipped like bestsellers.

...end of rant. Thanks for listening.

Ok so say for example I had a particular brick from a set, say I had imported
bricks from set 7785. If I wanted to edit the print on a particular torso print
how would I go about obtaining the texture for said piece?

Hello,
I´m attempting to recreate my own little car in Studio :

I made it 8 wide first, but it became bit too big, and would look better in 7-wide
and in slightly smaller scale.
I´m having trouble finding a good 6 wide windshield, any ideas?

Also, can I get the wheels from the Countach in Studio somehow, I can´t find
them there.

There was a leak a while back that TLG was going to start a subscription service
where you could buy old retired sets. Is there any news on which sets yet? Maybe
something amazing like 10123 Cloud City or will it just be spare sets that
nobody wanted, like the 2017 AT ST from Last Jedi?

I’m working on building a shelf to hold my minifigs. I’m going to cut the baseplate
into rows so the figs can stand on the studs. How do I prevent cracking of the
heels on minifigs? I’ve had a 2003 green goblin with perfect condition legs that
somehow got cracked heels just from standing on studs. Is there any way to prevent
rare figures from getting cracked heels from being displayed on studs?

I’m trying to identify this figure. I keep coming across them in bulk lots; in
the UK.
They are usually Futuron or Blacktron I figures.
Everything is glued; except the legs still bend and you can remove the hands.
And they all have this non standard white piece on the back of the torso.
I have looked on Bricklink, Brickset & done a general Google search. Other than
a couple of images of people trying to sell them, without saying precisely what
they are, I cannot find anything.
I am now guessing they are something unofficial.
So does anyone know what they are?

I added a building design to the Gallery, and it was available to view for several
weeks but has been removed and I am unable to publish it any more. It was my
own original design, nothing with any sort of IP infringements so no idea why
it has been removed... unless it was because it was entitled Traditional Gentleman's
Club, it was reminiscent of the Victorian clubs, nothing salacious, though.
Anyone have any ideas why it has been rejected, or a way to ask the moderators
why it was removed???

Hello - I am working on "restoring" the sets from my childhood (mid-late 90s)
and in the process of piecing things back together I noticed subtle differences
in the undersides of plates and bricks in my collection. These included:

Bricks 2x4 or larger with cross supports
Bricks of all sizes without cross supports
Bricks with hollow pins and without cross supports

Plates with solid pins on underside
Plates with hollow pins on underside

Can anyone tell me what years the molds changed? I would like to be as accurate
as possible when piecing sets back together.

So I keep checking under TLG's 'rewards' to see the next Collectibles...waiting
for a small set or some cool thing...

Yes, they came back with the coins but I already had them from the first release.

Finally, those hideous Fiat prints have been removed...so there is nothing for
me.

So I have thousands of points which I know I could use for some nice discounts
but I was wondering if anyone knew what the next collectible or free set might
appear there? Hate to submit my rewards for a discount just before something
cool was released that required points....

Thanks for any info

Well folks, it seems as though I have reached the point that all avid Lego collectors
never hope to reach. I have ran out of space for more Lego. I still plan on collecting,
but it appears that I will have to get creative with the limited space I have.
Most of my sets are assembled and on display, so perhaps I could disassemble
some of them and put them in storage? I believe it is doable, but it will also
be time consuming. If you have found yourself in a similar position before, what
did you do to create more space? Interested to see what all of you have to say.
Thanks.

Quick question for all of you. I had a design completed. I am not sure what
I did but somehow when I pulled the file back up this evening to work on it again
it had changed all the pieces to single stud pieces. 2x8 plates were all 1x1
plates and so on. How would this have happened and is there a way to change
in back if this were to happen again? Thanks in advance for all your help!

Going through a bunch of used decorated panels. Stickers incorrectly applied,
pieces that are more expensive without the stickers, decorated items that are
hard to find; most of you know that pain. Makes us wonder sometimes if it's
worth the work.

Then we find something like this and our eyes pop out of our heads.

I have the scarecrow tumbler on email notification and only 7 hours after I received

Hello 👋

While sorting some Plate Round 1x1 items we got confused with the color Trans-Neon-Orange.
Did LEGO produce two different kinds of this color, or am I just wrong and I
am looking at two different colors?
I put a flame item in Trans-Orange next to them.

Thanks in advance and all our best wishes from Berlin.

Hi there,

I'm able to buy a Mister Gold, but I'm not sure if it's genuine

Here are 3 pictures:
https://imgur.com/gallery/b34rTUi

After watchting this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3nPLGZnWTI (sorry
for german)
And also this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRLegYMRsb0

What bothers me:
*) Although there is a Lego logo, the white one (white neck, white hips) doesn't
seem to be correct
*) It looks a little bit too golden
*) The head has "Hollow Stud" instead of "Blocked Open Stud" (which should be
genuine, according to the first video) - but on the other hand, bricklink says
"Hollow Stud" as well.
*) The Lightsaber part is "chromed" all the way up, not just up to half of the
end.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

For my 7th birthday, my super cool parents took me to a toy store and let me
decide between the TMNT Party Wagon and 6285 Black Seas Barracuda.

As a child, that was the most difficult decision I had to make in my life and
honestly, even as an adult I'm having trouble choosing either.

Nevertheless, there was no wrong answer and I decided to get the Party Wagon
and enjoyed it for years.

Ever since this challenging choice, several beautiful ships have been procuded
by TLG but I never splurged on them.

Fortunately, I married the coolest person ever and she gave me 21322 Pirates
of Barracuda Bay as a new year present!

After decades of drooling over LEGO ships, I had the best one ever produced

I loved it so much that it heavily inspired me to build my own ship.

And here you may see the result:

Hello,

I know that once you 'cash-in' your Lego points for a rebate or item
code that you have a limited amount of time to use it/them.

But what about the points in general? Do they expire? If so, how can you see
how much time is left on certain points vs others?

When you buy something, are the 'older points' used first?

Thanks,

Hi.

I've never bought a brand new release before, but got excited about the 10300
BTTF about to be released on lego.com on april 1st.
Now I found the first reseller announcing it, but it will not be available there
until july 1st.

I was looking forward to get this on the release date, but I'm not sure it's
worth paying 184 EUR at lego.com when I can get it from a reseller for 139 EUR
three months later... (even if I might get a little Easter gift set)

I can understand if Lego want a few months to cash in on those who just can't
wait (since lego.com in general are much more expensive than their resellers).

But I wondered if it is a common thing for Lego to do, to delay the release
to resellers several months?

I assume there are a lot of seasoned buyers here that would know. (Perhaps it
is just that one reseller that are late, but I fear not.)

Hello,

I just assembled some sets from the 80s/90s and found several bricks of the same
type, but one was strangely loose and does not fit as good as the others. Also,
with closer examination, I noted that this one had a different "LEGO" font. So
were there different fonts in the 80s or is it even a real LEGO brick?

See pictures, the first brick is the odd one.

So I just received the new Easter themed Lego catalog in the mail yesterday and
both of the sets that would be ideal for their promotion are already sold out.
The promotion starts on Friday of this week.

Set No: 40523 Name: Easter Rabbits Display
*
40523-1 (Inv) Easter Rabbits Display
288 Parts, 2022
Sets: Holiday & Event: Easter

Set No: 40463 Name: Easter Bunny
*
40463-1 (Inv) Easter Bunny
293 Parts, 2021
Sets: Holiday & Event: Easter

It's basically a worthless catalog. Why not release the sets on the day
of the promo?

Simple creation, but still one I'm happy with. I've always been a fan
of the original Boba and Jengo Fett minifigs, and in particular, their helmet/packs.
As I posted in the general section, I have 20 of the plain (unpainted) Pearl
Light Gray helmets, and I decided that one would have to be Din in his Baskar.
Then, as the second season ended, I realized that I needed to make a version
of Boba from the series. Here are the details:

Din Djarin: Pearl Light Gray Jetpack/Helmet (X50), original Jengo Fett torso,
Dark Gray arms, Light Gray hands, Dark Gray legs w/ Brown waist, black cape,
Pearl Light Gray spear, and Pearl Light Gray revolver. (The pic doesn't
do the matching of the helmet, armor, spear and pistol justic.)

Boba Fett: Boba Fett Jetpack/Helmet with Dark Red detail, original Boba Fett
torso, Black arms, Sand Red hands, Black legs w/ Brown waist, Black Anti-Blast
kama, and Reddish Brown rifle.

Does anyone know the origin of the Pearl Light Gray and Green Fett helmets (x50
Minifigure, Headgear Helmet SW Rocket Pack)? It's the same part number as
the white helmet from the Polybag prototype Boba Fett, but they never appeared
in any set or minifigs. I bought 10 of the Pearl Light Gray ones here 15 years
ago (for $2.50 each! ), so before 3-D printing or Chinese knockoffs were
rampant. They appear to be legit. I recently purchased one green one, too,
just to have in my collection (just ordered, so not in hand yet.)

Why does the SW0122 have a yellow head? Is this an error on BrickLink’s part?
This figure was released in 2005 after TLG had already switched to flesh tones.
Does the figure actually have a yellow head or is it a black head like other
stormtrooper figs during this time period?

Does anyone know where I can download custom parts from the 42122 Jeep Wrangler
set with the prints and stickers on?

They're included on the parts list when I make a MOC, but I'd like the
pdf instructions and the renders to show them as well.

Thanks!!

I have finally decided to start recording videos of my collection, come to have
a look and comment I will be adding more videos over time as my collection is
growing and has over 50 different sets which I plan to record. There will be
not only original sets put together but MOC's from various themes. For now,
it's just a clean build video but over time I will add fast build videos
as well.

I'm wondering if anybody has seen any ideas or instructions for combining

playability.

Thanks!

Question for the masses here... I've used services like Blurb to print my
custom lego instructions so I can have the look and feel of legit Lego sets.
The issue is Blurb and other services are too rigid on their book sizing.

Does anyone or has anyone thought about purchasing printable instructions through
a printing service for the Bricklink Designer Sets so it can fit in the box?
The PDF instructions are 11 x 8.5 so they'd need to be reduced to a size
around 7 x 9 to fit. Thoughts?

Hello everyone,

I own a lego SW0117 with a misprinted face. The head print is printed way too
low on the head, and the mouth and eyes seem much too big for a normal figure.
Has anyone encountered a figure like this before?

Kind regards, LEGOfan1138

This is my most recent MOC and by far one of the most challenging to build. Its
very large at more then 20 inches wide. Which places it close to the actual size
of a real 808. This build tested my SNOT building skills quite a bit. The main
challenge was to do as much brick built line work as possible. The next update
to the build will make it so all the buttons can be pushed and some smaller detail
improvements. I have submitted my MOC to the LEGO Ideas site and would love your
support.

The number of the part is so small I can't read it.

Hey guys,

I was wondering. I'm looking into making some Space Police MOCs and upload
them to the Stud.io gallery. Normally, this would mean that, due to this being
a Lego brand, one wouldn't be able to download it. However, the trademark
has been cancelled since 2001. Now, I'm not going to do a 1-on-1 colour scheme;
I'd imagine that still has some value. But would it be OK if I at least called
it Space Police?

I found this adorable set on etsy and went about finding all the parts for it
myself so that I could recreate it for my SO. There's just a few parts left
I need help identifying.

1. I found everything on the two couches except for whatever the center piece
would be that allows you to stack on top and perpendicular for the base and back
of the chair. I found the sides/cushions/plates/slopes/buttons. I'm sure
they're common pieces, but I'm new to LEGO so I don't have a clue.

2. The "grills" on the side and skirt of the couches.

3. The pie

I think I have all the rest. Any help would be appreciated!

I've checked that Designer Program orders have been registered with Lego.com..
but can't reconcile what has been ordered with the build sets? My two orders
are

SKU: 6397996
SKU: 6413195

I believe one of them is the Retro Bowling set, but can't reconcile the SKU
number Lego.com is providing, and a respective reference in Bricklink.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just received set 4483 and went through the set to insure completeness.
Noticed that the driver's helmet has the trapezoid instead of the triangle.
Is this appropriate for the black box version of 4483? (wouldn't want to

You know you are never excited to look at your credit card balance when it comes
time to paying bills, but then there is a time like this. In review recent and
pending charges, I see two charges from Lego.com. Knowing that I had not recently
made any purchase I was slightly confused and then it hit me.

I've been charged for my Designer Program sets. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
I know it'll still be a week or two, but this means that sets are being distributed
to the US market soon. Can't wait to have these beauties in hand.

Hi all,
I have received an order from Italy. The order is for 3 figures for a total of
$39.
Shipping is ridiculous ($16), plus whatever VAT the person must pay.
Here's the question:
The buyer has written three times now, requesting I send the figures in a letter.
I have said no every time and suggested cancelling the order, but now the buyer
is begging (lol), and saying they will assume any risk.
Has anyone ever sent 3 minifigs in a letter?

Hi 👋🏼

First time poster here. I managed to buy a complete (apparently) millennium falcon
recently and decided to start building it. Having checked it, at first I though
it was great as the individual bags were all re sealed and put into the correct
box, however as soon as I started I realised that although the original bags
were used, the contents of each was just random pieces!

This is my first build where I’ve not followed the numbered bags with the instructions
so wondered how you thought I should approach it? Should I spend days sorting
the pieces first? Should I somehow sort them into what bags they’re meant to
be in? (Not even sure if there’s a list of what pieces go in which bag?), should
I sort by piece type? Colour? Etc

Essentially… help!

I notice a lot of folks list the star wars light up figures for sale that are

dings to face or body

cracks to saber handle etc
As I have accumulated a few of the figures in poor condition,
I was wondering if they have any value or even sell?
I am not including weak or dead batteries because I know how to replace them.

We have been getting more reports of broken pieces of late from customers. One
person had three pearl gold telescopes break on them, another several reddish
brown corner bricks.

These pieces ship in poly bags inside cardboard boxes, and the boxes themselves
are not getting crushed, so either it is a production issue, or maybe extreme
cold during shipping? We ship from MN where minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit is not
unheard of.

Anyone else having any similar experiences of late? This has been 3 different
customers in the last 4 months, after no complaints for 7 years, and we haven't
changed any of our processes.

Been getting delay notices on my order for month after month now. These sets
have been out since December...and now the latest update is mine won't even
ship until mid March? And all due to "backorder" status. This makes no sense
as I was one of the first couple hundred buyers to get an order in for them.
It makes no sense to give a shipment date and change it 3 times pushing delivery
back to 3 months later than everyone else.

ALL sets should have shipped at the same time just like any newly released
Adult targeted set. Really feel the ball was dropped on these latest rounds
of sets once the LEGO.com site was used for order fulfillment. So many issues
including no customer care on incorrect cancellations for some of my sets. The
very first ADP sets were done so much better and the team here was way above
and beyond to get things right on that first round. Why can't these new
sets be handled in at least the same professional manner? This was supposed
to be a community program, not corporate "too big to care" program for adult
fans to share, vote, collect and connect through.

Just had to vent as I've been anticipating these for sooooo long! The delays
are getting ridiculous and after others have already had theirs for months, and
all while leaving many devoted early buyers hanging still.

Just got another e-mail from Lego saying Castle in the Forest is once again delayed
and will now be shipped March 3. What is going on? First it was pushed back to
Feb 3, then Feb 15 and now March 3. I see some people already received theirs
back in December. Why is mine being delayed again and again? They've had
over 7 months to get this thing together. This is very disappointing. At this
point I'm just hopping they don't cancel the order and send an e-mail
saying they can't meet demand.

I built most of

Set No: 10253 Name: Big Ben
*
10253-1 (Inv) Big Ben
4163 Parts, 2016
Sets: Sculptures
yesterday and this morning and my fingers hurt.
I actually had a little bit of blood leaking through pinprick spots on one of
my index fingers and now I wonder whether I should be building this with rubber
thimbles. Does anyone wear PPE to build Lego??!

Hello,

I would like to recreate a building for a couple's wedding gift. I will attach
a picture of the building (glass with white roof and white beams separating the
pieces of glass). I would like to make it minifigure scale.

Can anyone please give me some recommendations for the build? Which type of window
plates would you use? What would you use for the walls/roof? Most of the window
I have found appear to be too small. Perhaps I should use the same windows as
the ship in a bottle?

Thank you for your time

I'm hoping someone who is a technic guru can design a tire press for me (I'll
pay for your design time!). We have an entire bin of reject tires that have the
wrong wheel combined with the wrong tread. Taking these apart by hand has been
the only solution, hence an entire bin's worth of tire rejects built up.

It seems to my non-engineering brain there should be a way to create such using
technic, but I simply can't envision it. So.... help! Has anyone seen such
a thing? Would anyone be willing to design such a contraption?

So... what happened to the designer program? It seems to have dropped off the
radar. Are there production delays? Is the next round still happening? It seems
to have frozen. Maybe someone should turn it off and on again.

i do like my Lego clock, the large 2x4 brick one, but find the actual screen
either hard to read or completely useless so I gutted it, built and installed
my own version... bit of retro using nixie tubes

So, I had to cancel the card I used to purchase one of the sets in round 2. Since
it hasn't been charged yet because they haven't shipped, does anyone
know who I would contact to update the info so my order doesn't just get
cancelled?

Hello Lego fans!

After many hours of research and of course building, I am glad to present to
you my new Lego Ideas project, the "Vikings House"!!
As a big fan of Lego Vikings theme, I decided to dedicate my time and effort
on this theme in order to revive it! It has been many years since the last official
Vikings set.
I hope you enjoy this set and please show your support (and of course share if
you want) in order to to help the Viking House reach the 5k target!!😊 Thanks!!

I can buy a used set (75137) with Boba Fett figure without helmet. And small
marks on the torso (teeth?). I will buy a helmet

Do you think this is a good specimen for the collection in this condition?

Hi everyone

Hope you are all well, I’ve been putting together the pieces of my big yacht
design here at Bricklink, the finished model will be about 1.5meters long and
50cm high when complete so it’s taking quite some time and effort to collect,
I’ve been posting development update of the builds early stages on the Lego Facebook
page if you wanted a look?!

Anyhow on a completely unrelated note lol I’ve been unable to find the original
Stormtrooper from the first episode of StarWars in the 80’s..

Can you guys point me in the right direction…

Thanks
