| Yes sorry for any confusion, this is exactly what I'm referring too. It seems
like a simple setting to have.

It already exists in the settings:

That's only for the price guide, not for when you are searching for or raking
prices on an items page.
I think the question is why isn't there an option to set the default seller
location on item pages (for example, this one https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3001
) to be the buyer's country.
It has been asked for multiple times in the past but ignored.

I think you might need a spell-checker too!
The only message system that works poorly is the one accessed through the storefront.
Use the old message system for better results. You can get there by clicking
on the little envelope on anyone's feedback card.

Except I prefer e-mail and reply (almost) only using e-mail.

For Firefox anyway there was an Add on that would memorise the form fields you
entered, and can fill them back after you used the history back, closed the page
- or simply want to retype the same thing...
