Yes sorry for any confusion, this is exactly what I'm referring too. It seems
like a simple setting to have.

That's only for the price guide, not for when you are searching for or raking

I think the question is why isn't there an option to set the default seller
location on item pages (for example, this one https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3001
) to be the buyer's country.

It has been asked for multiple times in the past but ignored.

Like messgae drafts because it is very frustrating when you acciedentally click
outside the message think or click backspacce it deletes ur whole message.

I think you might need a spell-checker too!

The only message system that works poorly is the one accessed through the storefront.
Use the old message system for better results. You can get there by clicking
on the little envelope on anyone's feedback card.

Good luck!

I guess everyone?
Except I prefer e-mail and reply (almost) only using e-mail.

For Firefox anyway there was an Add on that would memorise the form fields you
entered, and can fill them back after you used the history back, closed the page
- or simply want to retype the same thing...

I LOVE the idea of a donations topic for the forum. I have a fair amount of
items in my store I could donate. Pieces that take up a lot of space, are older,
probably won't sell... this is a great idea.

If an Admin is listening- add my name to the list of supporters.

I’ve mentioned this before, but not as a site suggestion.

Add a Donation topic to the forum.

We’ve (my kids and I) have donated quite a few Lego items over the years, and
would like to choose a more specific topic when doing so here on BL. When I go
to give-away Lego, I’m compelled to use the contest mechanism in the forum, as
they’re is no other relative topics to just give away Lego.

Expand your thinking on this: It would not generate income for the site directly
(in fact can be viewed as pulling potential sellable inventory off the market)
but I think indirectly, the site revenue would increase.

In any case, wouldn’t it be fun? Add more excitement to the community? As well
as show the other relative sites, that we are more than about the $

In my opinion the only one that knows if an order is 100% completed is the Buyer,
not the Seller. Only the buyer can change status to received, but both buyer
and seller can change status to completed.

Status Received:
Package has been received but the buyer has not yet verified the contents on
the package.

As a buyer I Always use this, until I verified the contents, which can take a
while, depending on how many orders I receive at once, how big the orders are
and if I can find time to check.

I like it to have this great reminder to do so:
... Orders received, change status when completed

Now I experienced several times, that the seller changed status to completed.
Which is not correct, because I still didn't check the order yet. Besides
I now lost my reminder which tells me I still have to verify this order and leave
feedback.

As a seller I understand that it's nice to know when an order is completed
and that buyer's do change order status, but it's not up to the seller
to decide if an order is received and 100% correct.

My Suggestion:

Only allow the Buyer to change status to Completed.

Diana

Late to the party but had a seller do this to me when I had a large number of
orders with various statuses. Seems status cannot be changed after a certain
period of time so by that logic a seller could set an order to completed and
if you do not realise and change it back in time it could get locked like that
despite never being received. Thankfully I was able to identify and change the
status back to shipped after reviewing a bunch of orders.

I use the statuses to mark off orders received and know which I am still waiting
for to arrive. Definitely if after a reasonable amount of time a buyer has not
updated the status but has not indicated the order was not received then the
status should automatically be set to completed and/or allow the seller to do
so. At the very least a seller should not be allowed to set it to completed after
1 day of marking it as shipped for an international order over a weekend! This
is what happened to me and it really annoyed me to the point I left neutral feedback
(was debating leaving negative as it was seemingly marked completed on a Sunday
after being shipped on the Saturday).

Just to add, it was a relatively expensive order too and has shaken my trust
in the seller and BrickLink processes in general.

Or a geographical setting, 50 km/miles from me, same country, postal code,
whatever. Narrow down the options a bit. I find myself wanting someone within
50 miles, because I know the post office MIGHT get things here quicker than say,
1,000 miles and thirteen Postal hops in between.
