So I have had 3 buyers message me today saying the orders I just picked this
evening have tracking numbers that say they were delivered within the last week
somewhere else in the USA. I recall reading on the forum before that tracking
numbers are reused, but it just seems strange that I have had 3 like that today.
Does anyone else have an issue like this? Will they update when they are scanned
at the local post office when I drop them off?

Ben

I've had the same issue with at least two packages I sent via Shipstation
yesterday. One I shipped from Minneapolis to St. Paul. Tracking # shows it was
sent last week from NY to TX. The other I sent from Mpls to Kansas. Tracking
shows it was sent last month from TX to Denver!!!

I hope they resolve this internally without having to buy and create new labels
and delay the whole process if they come back to the shippers/sellers!!

  Hi all,

Is there a generic way I can put something on all my order requests without having
to manually send messages to each seller each time I buy?

I've recently had a spate of orders arrive in food boxes (e.g. muesli bar
boxes) - which is a huge problem for me since I have a bunch of food allergies
and intolerances and I'd really rather not have those set off by my Lego
orders.

Thanks and best regards,
-J

Due to your severe allergy, and levels of food contamination that many would
not even realize exist, you should include it in your comments. Some sanitation
sprays that folks use contain citrus.

Personally, I like the concept of reuse and have noticed that this is more common
from European sellers than US sellers. I would hate to see a policy that required
sellers to use all new packing materials. Out of hundreds of orders, I have
only once received items in packing that still had any noticeable food residue.

We often reuse cereal/bar/LEGO/pasta boxes to be as green as possible. We regularly
get thanked or have positive FB/comments for doing this.

I never thought about the allergy potential before. I just put a notice at the
top of our terms page to ask buyers to request to not use them if they have severe
allergies.

That is awesome. I own an original 808 and wish I had more time to mess around
with it. Sorting & listing take up too much of my spare time these days.

YOU HAVE ONE!? Um would you mind taking some pictures for me. I have done this
whole build with just images online but the sides have been hard to find good
pictures of. It’s got some really unfriendly LEGO geometry. I also could use
a few pictures next to a ruler to just get a feel for how close in size to an
actual 808 I have gotten.

Sure, either respond with your email address or send it to mine : atlantisdaviddj@gmail.com

Will be much easier than trying to post the photos here...

Once again, our sale has been huse and we've decided to extend it another
couple weeks to help out with those shopping for the holidays. We have been
busy adding inventory to our largest level ever and as a result we have the largest
discounts compared to any previous sale!!

The sale will run through Monday, January 1st

Parts from 10 to 40% off
Sets up to 20%
Mini-figures up to 35% off
Instructions & boxes up to 75% off

We are marking a lot of boxes and instructions down heavily as we plan to start
recycling or repurposing older boxes that haven't sold for years for shipping
packages to make more space.

AVERAGE lot minimum is not changing for this sale and will remain at $.30/lot.

We are also bumping the lot limit from 60 to 100 for the remainder of the
sale. If you wish to order more, a bypass code can be requested, but we will
add on an add'l $2 charge per 100 lots on top of the usually $1 per 40 lots.
Please keep in mind that larger orders will take longer to fulfill.

Orders are pulled in the order they are paid.

part 43855 - Bionicle Mask Akaku Nuva in Pearl Light Gray

While it doesn't show as a known color for any set in this color, I found
in another thread that this color variant appeared in two mask collection sets.

I'm wondering why this color specifically sells (and has sold) for $150+.
The other colors that are almost as rare sell for $5-10 or less.

Making me wish I started going through these Bionicle/Hero Factory parts sooner...

As a person who has sold three of the last eight of these, I can help. The original
mask came in white with the Set 8571. Each of six unique Nuva masks had a starting
color.

Then sets 8597 and 8598 introduced all six masks in all six colors.
AND THEN sets 8599 and 8600 introduced the very rare pearl light gray masks ("Protodermis")
along with krana. Five of these six command the $150+ price tag. Sadly, the Miru
Nuva mask is worth far less, for reasons I don't yet know.

Thanks for the info. This will motivate me to look through the rest of my Bionicle
accumulation over the years. I'm sure I have more of this part, just can't
recall the colors. I had been saving everything in case I needed a spare part
to complete a set but it is getting to the point where I'd rather sell them
and free up the shelf space.

We've managed to stay on top of orders this week so we are letting the
sale run an extra day.

Our mega flash sale is back for the next six days before go on vacation pt.2
and are out of town for the rest of the month.

We're going out with a blast and just marked all parts at least 5% off (even
those we added just this week, including 4x Daily Bugle!!!). and depending on
length they have been in our inventory, parts may be up to 50% off!!! We just
scrolled through the inventory and there are tons of great deals to be found
- 80+ pages of inventory that are at least 40-50% off!!!

The sale will have a hard stop on Saturday, July 17th to ensure we can pull
all orders before we leave town. Once we turn the sale off, the store will be
shut down for the rest of July.

Sale runs through Noon CST Saturday, July 17th

Parts from 5 to 50% off
Sets up to 20%

All orders must be paid for by July 19th if you want them shipped before we leave
town on the 20th, otherwise they will not ship until at least July 29th.

In Selling, psubrian writes:
  Hello all,

I'm not a big time seller and have only dealt with 1 other NPB who flat ever
never responded to a thing so it just filed as NPB. I had another guy who made
a purchase, I invoiced, resent the invoice multiple times over a 2 week span,
and never heard back so I filed a NBP. It was then that they came back and said
"oh sorry, shipping across the ocean was too expensive". Well that's fine,
but the bottom line is they are still a NPB in my mind as they placed an order
and didn't pay (reasoning is poor in my opinion). So I got a message saying
something about I couldn't do anything with the NPB until 7/8. Then last
night, I got another automated message saying the NPB was removed andchanged
from NPB to Pending by BrickLink Administration on Jul 8, 2021.

What should I be doing? It would be my preference for the NPB to stick with
this buyer as I went through the trouble of pulling their order, packaging, figuring
out international shipping costs, etc.

I had 2 NPBs get cancelled by Admin around the same time with no reason as well.
the fact that they both happened right around the same time for orders that
were at least a week or two apart makes me think it was an admin/system issue
and not initiated by the non-paying buyer.

Both buyers did request to cancel, one was ordering one or two parts for about
$.50 and the shipping was around $15 and they claimed they were expecting the
shipping to be free!!! I have pretty clear shipping costs on my terms page,
both for US by weight and starting rates for Int'l of which this was on the
lowest end anyway due to the small size of the order.

The other buyer basically said they couldn't pay for the order but I checked
their FB and they placed other orders right before and after requesting to cancel
mine so their reasoning doesn't hold water.

I don't think either of those should have been removed by admin, IMO.

Just a few days left for this sale.

We're expanding our overstock sale to include most of the inventory. We are
in the process of adding another 25K new parts this week so really need to make
some room. And we still have over 500lbs of used parts to sort through and list.
We are trying to devote at least 1-2 hours a day to sorting and listing used
parts to keep the inventory fresh each day.

We've slashed prices on tons of parts & sets. Just about everything in our
inventory not added in the last month has been discounted.

The sale will have a hard stop on the 27th to ensure we can pull all orders before
we leave town.

Sale runs through Sunday, June 27th

Parts up to 40% off
Sets up to 20%
Mini-figures up to 25% off
Instructions & boxes up to 75% off

We are marking a lot of boxes down heavily as we plan to start recycling or repurposing
older boxes that haven't sold for years for shipping packages to make more
space.

Depending on the volume of orders, there may be a few days delay in processing
due to the backlog. Please keep this in mind when placing orders, especially
those over 30 lots. And due to current circumstances we are limiting post office
trips to 2-3 days a week instead of our usual 4-6.

AVERAGE lot minimum is not changing for this sale and will remain at $.30/lot.

Due to the volume of orders we expect to receive we also ask that you keep orders
to under 100 lots so we can serve everyone faster. For orders over 100 lots,
we will assess an extra $2 per 100 lots on top of our regular $1 per 40 lots
handling fee.

Please note that new lots added will likely not be discounted, but any new parts
added to existing lots will be at the sale price and in some cases discounted
further as we are in the processing of gradually reducing our prices overall
as we update our inventory.

Depending on the volume of orders, there may be a few days delay in processing
due to the backlog. Please keep this in mind when placing orders, especially
those over 30 lots.
And due to current circumstances we are limiting post
office trips to 2-3 days a week instead of our usual 4-6.

We are in the process of thinning out some of our inventory as we still have
over 600 lbs of unsorted LEGO to process and make room for.

We have marked down hundreds of lots of various new & used parts from 5 to 50%
off.

As we have time to go through more bins and trays manually, more lots will likely
end up discounted. No specific end date in mind. We'll likely end it before
we head out for summer vacations.

We are not setting up any type of lot restriction or raising the existing lot
minimum for this sale so order away....

A quick search did not show any results on this topic before...

Is it possible to change how mini doll torsos are identified by color in the
search function? Rather than skin color, it would be better to have them sorted
by shirt/clothing.

Currently there are 5 pages of light nougat, 2 pages of medium nougat and not
much else.

Trying to identify Friends figures now is very tedious and time consuming with
the current classification. It would be much easier to select mini doll torso
and then "dark pink" for color and end up with perhaps 10-20 choices rather than

thank you everyone for the feedback.

It looks like the differences between EU & NA would explain the weight discrepancies
I have seen.

In general are most sets inventoried by EU/UK members?

We don't use IC, so I'm not so concerned about the weight difference
impacting shipping charges as we always weigh the package first before adding
shipping cost and sending an invoice.

I was more worried about the tampering issue that some have experienced and not
wanting to open some sealed sets to make sure everything was included and thus
reducing the value of the set. It looks like that will always be an issue/possibility
then knowing that EU/UK submitted sets are going to be different weights than
what we would see in the US.

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum to post this in. I did a search
for 'set weight' in the forums and couldn't find anything addressing
this question.

How are the weight of sets derived? Does a submitter weigh the sealed set on
a scale and enter weight or is it automatically calculated by the inventory submitted?

I've purchased sealed sets 2nd hand over the years and they never seem to
weigh what is listed on BL. I've read recent posts about sellers finding
sealed sets purchased in stores as "new" only to find their contents were replaced.

I decided to check several sealed sets in our inventory, some purchased at chain
stores, others purchased at LEGO stores or SAH, and NONE of them match what was
listed on BL. On smaller sets they have been as close as +/- 2 grams off, but
on mid-size sets (200-400 pieces), I've seen them off up to +/- 30 grams

This has happened with two different scales, so not sure it is an issue with
an inaccurate scale especially considering the sets we are weighing aren't
always lighter than what is listed on BL, but sometime higher too. I also listed
a boat weight that BL shows as 49.69 grams and our scale wavers between 49 &
50 grams, so it seems to be accurate.

Could the package weight be different depending on country? (an inventory is
submitted by someone in EU and their packaging weighs less??)

I want to list some of these 2nd hand sets that appear to be sealed as "new-sealed"
but don't feel comfortable at the moment given these discrepancies between
what we show as weight and what BL says is the weight.
