Is there any update on this, mine is still doing it, have been periodically checking

Hi All,

I'm trying to rack my brain and remember if I've seen release dates for
this years advent calendars or not, and if not when they were released last year.

Does anyone know the dates? for some reason 1st September is going round my head.

I'd like to say a big thank you to the sellers I've used so far, as most
orders have had no issues and those that have, were sorted quickly, and I know
most of my orders would have been complex for the sellers due to the nature of
what I was doing.

Which was complete various sets I had identified from bulk buys from charity
shops, etc and building a physical version of my Lego Ideas Submission https://ideas.lego.com/s/p:44b8559206694ebc9f9363f3781ab6ba
(which I have finished the other day) now just to work on the characters and
typical that getting the parts using different colours for parts that weren't
made in required colour and now new sets have come out with them in

Hi, I was curious as the impact the VAT may had have on our sales. I have had
zero european sales since the end of April. Before it was 3 to 5 per months,
nothing big, but it was there and pretty consistent.

Is it the same for you ? Am I the only one or maybe there's an other explanation
?

I think it maybe having a slight impact as it will increase costs, however the
VAT collection wasn't implemented until July, which is why I think other
factors are more likely to be involved, I currently have an order that was shipped
from Canada on the 25th June and is still delayed, so I think the longer shipping
times as a result of the pandemic are starting to filter through and people are
going for sellers that are nearer to reduce possible delays.

Hi all,

Has anyone experienced delays recently with Canada Post deliveries to the UK,
I ordered from a seller at the middle of June, and they have shipped with a tracking
number via Canada Post, Initially the tracking was showing delivery date of 15th
July then on that date and since it has just gone to item delayed, on their service
updates there is nothing indicating issues with deliveries to the UK only saying
it may take 7-10 days extra due to safety measures, just starting to worry as
if it doesn't arrive may be out of time to generate a refund.

As someone who has bought a ton of LEGO sets (mostly for my 6-year-old son, whose
LEGO obsession will soon lead to a life in dire poverty) but has not sold any
yet, I am wondering if it makes sense to purchase the LEGO World Map 31203 and
then perhaps re-sell it (used or new/sealed). I usually don't see sets as
an investment, but I live near a LEGOLAND and their store sells 31203 for $250,
whereas on eBay and Bricklink it is available for $300-$350. However, at least
on eBay the supply is huge, and it is not clear to me if there is much demand.
Feel free to roast this novice now ...

The first thing I would say is how quickly would you be looking to sell, if you
are looking to sell it almost once you have got it, then as Yorbrick says, probably
not worth it.

However if you are considering holding on to it for several years before looking
to sell (which is how I would see an investment) Then it may be worth it, as
Lego only make sets for at most a couple of years before they are discontinued.
This combined with when potential buyers become aware of the set(s). I had this
with the Ninja theme, I happened to stumble across it by fluke and it was just
when they were stopping the theme, which meant over the subsequent years buying
them from elsewhere.

I've come across something odd with this set/inventory.

Two main things for me.

Not having to highlight with a mouse then press enter to go to a suggestion in
the search box, If I'm highlighting it with the mouse a mouse click should
work, also if after typing it I should be able to press enter and it search straight
away.

Second is having to put a * to search for variations or prints/stickers or if
you only know part of it.

on a side note I remember someone putting a suggestion on stores feedback pages
to show the country that the person left the feedback resided in, this would
be helpful as a guide to see if they have sales to your country and what the
transactions were like.

Dear All,

There is a potential way to free up some castle in the forests, as I have just
gone through eBay's selling policy and it states for Pre-Sale items (like
these)
Presale listings must guarantee that the item will be posted within 30 days of
purchase
therefore anyone currently listing them will be breaching that as they won't
be getting them for at least 150 days. so I will be contacting and reporting
any seller I see that is Selling them with the hope of getting them banned which
will mean they will find it harder to sell.

Hopefully if others do the same we can make it harder for those who are making
it less enjoyable for the true Lego Fans

Here's one of the few people on the forum right now that actually has maturity

a Lego set. I don't think many would be happy unless Lego delivered a free
copy of the castle to them tomorrow, and even then, they'd still complain
about something.

They'd probably complain that they had to be in to receive it

I had 1 of each of the three sets I was interested in my basket and got paypal
confirmation I had authorised it yet the Lego website said it could process it,
with the reopening I will have a chance to get one of the sets as the three that
I was interested in where the three minifigure based ones, Castle in the Forest,
Fishing Boat and Particle Accelerator

2. Are you happy with it? Why/Why not?
3. What do you expect from a good storage solution?

Thanks for your participation!

I'm not a store but have a massive collection.

1) I use a variety of containers (I don't tend to separate colours) I use
old 900ml Plastic Ice Cream tubs for some of the smaller but larger quantity
parts for other 1 x1 and 1 x 2 parts i use these or similar https://www.stanleytools.co.uk/products/detail/Products/STORAGE/Organisers+_+bins/STANLEY%C2%AE+Sortmaster+Junior+BlkfwdslashYel
I also use old plastic sweet tubs and some of the boxes that Lego basic or creator
brick sets came in

2) It is doing it's job however definitely think there could be better options
my main issue is space constraints and ease of searching for parts when looking
to work on a set

3) needs to be easy to move parts around when the quantity changes to utilise
space best, needs to be easily labelled for different sections and for those
labels to be secure but movable as well. to optimise the space available

To date I've never cancelled an order myself and the only time personally
I could see to use this would be if the order was time sensitive and the seller
was taking too long to generate the invoice, which is one reason I prefer instant
checkout stores, even if the invoice was taking a while my first port of call
is always messaging the seller. also I tend to do most of my purchasing just
after payday, currently have 5 carts prepped and waiting.

plus currently I have so many parts on my wanted list to complete sets I tend
to just focus on those and maybe look at adding other items if I need to meet
minimum order or average lot values

Rather than searching for individual pieces that might not exist in a certain
colour, I'd like to see the parts that are available/do exist to help with
MOCs.

If you go to the catalog tab there is a color guide part which lists all the
colors and you can then select from there to see all the parts that are made
in that colour

I was wondering if it’s possible to let people see which country they’re from
(little flags). For instance: at the feedback page of a store. So new buyers
can see directly (flag) the feedback posts of fellow countrymen. It would be
more convincing for them to buy from other countries. And with this COVID it
will help to convince them that shipping is ok from other countries.

There are already national flags on feedback pages.

https://www.bricklink.com/feedbackSettings.asp?viewFrom=P

I think you'll find he means when you go to a store's feedback page rather
than a personal feedback page. So that way although they may have shipping to
your country selected as an option you can see if anyone from your country has
bought from them recently and what the transaction was like.
