Anyone got an interesting story or an amusing tale to take my mind off things
?

Perhaps something odd and interesting about Lego, maybe something that might
start an interesting string on the forum.

Cheers.

Part No: 604c01 Name: Window 1 x 6 x 3 Panorama with Glass
*
604c01 Window 1 x 6 x 3 Panorama with Glass
Parts: Window

This has two holes

However I have these in red without holes.

Both have fixed glass and hollow studs.

Does this qualify for a separate listing ?

Not sure sticker is Lego.

Don’t think this sticker, if Lego, belongs on this part.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance.

Odd colourful fungal growth on willow stump.

Had to stop myself comparing colours with those used by Lego.

Anyone know what fungus ?

A long shot but looking for some help if anyone here is aware of the regs concerning
older rural properties and rainwater discharge.

Tried googling but can’t find a straight answer on my drainage problem.

If there is, could I pick your brains please.

Thanks for any help.

Who says that faded pieces aren't worth keeping, they also sell when they
look like this.

Looking for views on collectable minifigures.

I have a large number of these, estimated at 1000+ in new condition, plus others
in used.

These are from nearly all series so far including series 1 unopened and opened
Team GB.

Just accumulating them at present.

Too many to check individually on the sales info, certainly at the moment for
me due to relocation.

Do these still sell well ?

May start listing some when I reopen in 2022.

Having struggled to cope with long distance house hunting, now made an offer,
selling a property, under offer , crazy work conditions, caring, running a BL
store and changing jobs it's now evident that something has to give.

I've decided that my store will remain closed indefinitely, almost certainly
until 2022, anything outstanding will be shipped and one order on hold will be
invoiced and shipped when requested by buyer.

If I understand correctly, I have to be active in my store from time to time
to prevent my listings from being deleted, please advise if this is correct and/or
whatever else I need to do.

I'll still be active on the forum and may still purchase anything of interest
that may turn up.

Hope to add large number of items when I reopen.

Packing unlisted stock into moving boxes, can't believe how many I've
used and nowhere near finished.

Here's to a more settled 2022 and finally a less stressful job, cheers everyone.

Plan to reopen 26th May.

Just thought I'd ask here if anyone has any experience in : buying, selling
or valuing real vintage lead planters ( not faux ).

These are extremely heavy and not sure I'll need them in Cornwall, hoping
to find someone who buys or deals in more than Lego.

Also have a large vintage farmhouse table that I might part with too, all would
be collection only.

I've really no idea what to ask for them and I'll probably have to sell
via eBay if I can't find a buyer myself, might advertise at work if I can
value them.

Checked online but didn't help much as I can't find anything similar.

I know it's unlikely that anyone can help but worth a try.

Thanks for any help.

Hope the Chinese belief in 888 works for me, even if it's only for a short
while.

I believe it has been done before but is this still acceptable if the Lego side
goes through BL ?

I'm talking about a vintage/antique farmhouse table with drawers ( not sure
of age ) and two vintage/antique Lead garden planters ( real Lead not faux ).

All these are heavy and or sizeable, exchange only in U.K. and would have to
be collected.

Effectively the Lego would be sold to me and I pay with these goods rather than
currency.

If it is then anyone interested can contact me and we can try to work something
out, if it isn't then please ignore this message.

It's been a crazy 12 months for me and the next 12 months look similar.

I've packed all my unlisted Lego as I'm hoping to move in the next few
months.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of ordering from me in the near future, things
may change quickly.

I'm looking to rent to begin with which may prevent me from reopening until
I find a new home, the store may be closed for a long time.

Thank you to all my customers and thanks for all those that have sold me items
so far, also thanks to all those here on the forum that have kept me informed,
entertained etc, even if we don't always agree.

Here's to a new, even brighter future and if all goes well a bigger more
organised store.

Thought I'd ask if there is any point trying to add images of these to the
catalogue or does the marbling and the block rule them out ?

This must have been discussed before but I don't remember anything and I
can't find any postings.

Sets 501-3 and 042-1 don't have an inventory list for the vehicle although
you can often find the vehicle bases and occasionally the blue 3001oldb blue
brick seperately.

Was there a reason for not separating these components, I know the string could
pose a problem.

The 3001oldb red is listed.
