This doesn't really fix the core underlining failures of this. Stop supporting
scalper culture, start supporting your fans.

What would have been an impressive show to fans, is if you actually opened the
castle back up, 5,000 additional, 1 per customer, and give us an exact time for
when it goes live. That would have been doing something. I personally don't
care about any of the rest of the sets, so that is great for opening that up
for those who do, but doesn't do jack for those of us messed over because
of a ridiculous 5x buy limit.

In fact, going forward, 2x buying limit should be a max, making sure it is very
clear exactly when these things drop, and keep to that schedule. Maybe pay attention
to what they are doing over in Haslab, where they actually have a minimum, but
no max as long as the min is hit, and a window by which you can buy within.

This botched round 1, really makes me not care about future rounds, as this whole
service clearly is designed again to help scalpers prosper, instead of actually
service your fans. This isn't the first time and I guess by the way this
sounds, it probably won't be the last.

Why do people keep using such an offensive word? Do you know Scalper is very
offensive to my people? please Stop!

Bricklink you have done a great job at addressing the complaints. I can't
believe some of the comments here now with people still not happy and whining.
Even with some comments stating if they can't get the castle then they won't
participate in future designer programs. Wow! That is really the ultimate revenge
against Bricklink. The sets can only be produced in limited numbers. This is
what gives them the appeal. If they were sold in unlimited numbers they would
be just like any other Lego set.

Isn't there supposed to be a "like" or "upvote" button or something somewhere
on these things?

I guess something about LEGO just brings out the toddler in everyone. )

they dont have to print them. a pdf file would be just fine so the owner can
print it if they want or use the ap. what about those that dont have ap capabilities?
i plan on screen shotting each step and printing it out.

Do you also plan on doing anything about the fact that people are really upset
about not getting "real" instructions with the sets?
There won't be even a PDF for download???

Building with an app sounds pretty terrible. Especially for bigger sets, when
the app shows you one piece after another.

A set with 2000 pices or more will take forever and won't be any fun to build
at all.

And what happens in a few years when the app is no longer supported???

This is definitely NOT what people are looking for!

We want to enjoy the build a relax from office days with hours full of staring
a monitors and Lego was something you would have never needed something like
that.
That's absolutely the wrong direction to go!

This was made clear before purchase. If you want printed instructions, you could
buy one of the 700-800 other sets that LEGO produce each year.

Printing a small run of 10000 instructions per set, plus the time required to
typeset them, will be relatively expensive per booklet which is not included
in the costs already set.
