| The best authorities on these are on Flickr, check out WRMe2 ( I think that’s
right, name is Wouter ), Bendix ( Beryll ) and never forget Maxx.
I’ll check the details of their Flickr names and let you know, haven’t used them
for awhile, they are all very nice people and extremely helpful.

| Hopefully I will have a much bigger range again sometime in early 2022, both
vintage and modern, new and used.
Plans to double in size at that point, fingers crossed, I have the stock and
just need time to recheck counts of existing stock and manually add new stock.
I will have a lot of 2 x 4 test bricks and slotted bricks, windows and doors
in different sizes to list.
If you like the corner 4 x 4’s, I have some variations of these to list.

| Not keen but that may have been me worrying that I’d got it wrong and I might

I’ve read that only young ones are edible and if they have started to yellow
then it can make some people feel sick.
Older ones that have changed in the centre beyond yellow are inedible I believe.

Hard to see in the pic, but it looks to be a mold of some type, which are multicellular,
filamentous fungi. Heads up, there is a pink mold looking bacteria that grows
on wood in moist conditions as well. But you already seem to be aware of being
careful about such things.
It is interesting, whatever it turns out to be. Thanks for sharing.

| All nice marbled pieces, there are collectors for these, however the 2 x 4 3001/3001old
are those that are more valuable.

| For this part, if it doesn’t have a logo on the solid stud then it’s a clone.

Need to know if I have to install soakaways if I have rainwater draining onto
the ground, my garden to be exact.
I have an older house 1929ish with small 1960’s extension and don’t know if I
can be forced to channel these to soakaways or I can leave them as they are.
I have to change one as it drains into septic tank system and that’s not allowed
anymore.
Can I change this so it empties onto the garden like the two other down pipes
I have on the front of the building, well away from the septic tank system.
No public rainwater system available, I’m below main road level on a private
road, I don’t pay drainage costs only water supply to utility company.
Anyone know the legal position ?

| Some early Lego had those circles underneath but majority were clone brands.
The early Lego didn’t have a brick of those dimensions with those circles, my
bet is that it’s a clone, probably DDR origin.

Unpopular opinion here, but I bag each lot separately. It doesn't matter
if there is one part in the lot or 1000, it goes in its own bag. I do this because
as a buyer, I hate receiving lots bagged together because it requires extra work
to verify the contents of the order and I usually end up separating the lots
anyway using my own bags. However, I totally understand sellers that combine
lots in one bag to save money on plastic bags and reduce plastic waste.

for single malts we hadn't tried before. I had a similar "setup" with our
local cheese shop owner (without the "container collecting" part). He was pretty
sad to see us leave...

The pic is of some of my son's stash. They all have booze in them, he doesn't
save empties but keeps the bottles in their boxes for some reason. He's the
whiskey connoisseur in the house. On Saturdays he and I will sample the newest
he's picked-up on his travels during the week. But I don't/can't
consume much myself, nor does he for that matter. Just a couple of lightweights
in that regard.
Like everything else he does, he reads-up extensively, immerses himself into
the subject. Whiskey is his newest interest. Once a week (sometimes we'll
miss a week) we break out the Glencairn whiskey tasting glasses and sample the
latest of his finds, and talk. It's something that I look forward to very
much, both the talking and the whiskey but mostly what he has to share.
My son is one of those exceptionally intelligent guys, that enjoys a conversation.
He's also a voracious reader, mostly books on the classics and military history.
So not only do I get to sample some good whiskeys, but get to learn more about
history as he shares the latest book he's into. Three things I enjoy: my
son, history and whiskey! So you see why I'd "look forward to it very much"

| I'm the same, still have to look through rock pools as I did as a kid, fascinated
watching wood ants on their mounds and many more things.
Only ever watched nature programmes to see the Cicadas, not an event you'll
see too often in a lifetime.
I think the most annoying and spectacular thing we see is the mass of flying
ants once a year as they leave to start new colonies.

I am in this group. I am always fascinated by the little things around me when
I go on walks, runs, hikes, bike rides, canoeing, camping, etc. Not only does
the wildlife intrigue me, but every type of plant, fungus, etc. Right now, the
17-year cicadas are out in my part of Ohio ("Brood X" as it is known). The last
time they were here, I had just moved into my first home at 28 and had no kids.
Now, my life could not be more different than it was then. The sound is deafening
and overly irritating, but the whole cicada life cycle and observing them above
ground just fascinates me. They are cute in a weird sort of way.
I love spending time in the outdoors as much as my LEGO!

| I told you I was an odd one, never ever liked Whisky/Whiskey or most strong
alcoholic spirits, just don't like the taste.
Drank Vodka a lot whilst in my late teens and early twenties but lost any interest
after too many hangovers, now I can't tolerate it at all.
Never liked anything that tastes earthy/peaty whether that's malt, beers
or those dreadful cheap wines we had in the 70's/80's here in the U.K.
My sweet tooth doesn't help, not a fan of anything too dry.

Lovely photos, I'm lucky I get to see skies like that a fair bit as I live
on the Sussex Coast, and the sky yesterday morning at about 4:30 was amazing
even though it meant rain for most of the day, it had lots of the reds and oranges.

| Can't place it, a photo would almost certainly help identify it.
My only thought is it might be a train part, motor/transformer.

| They've clearly come a long way since their beginning cloning Kiddicraft
bricks.
You can see their slow transition into today's sleek marketing and product,
a few hiccups on the way, in their basic bricks.
Collecting early pieces shows up all the refining of both the product and it's
branding that have happened over the years.
The change from slotted to hollow, then to tubes and supported tubes, each phase
having numerous variations, refining the injection points as they went.
The change from no logo to different base logos, changing to stud and base logo,
from that through numerous styles of stud logo only.
Then of course you have the test bricks in all it's forms and colours, not
to mention the unofficial pieces from various moulding companies.
There are many other things I could mention but then it's getting too geeky.

They just took time to learn/refine marketting: put your brand on the package,
then on the back of the product, then very visible on the product, so much visible
that only your brand is associated with the product / the stud now.
They might even have invented something there. Any marketting historian here?

Ad. 1 Panel member introductions
We have selected the initial panel members based on criteria such as: Having
both buyers and sellers represented, BrickLink experience, ability to engage
in constructive dialogues about the future of BrickLink and ability to consider
the greater good for the BrickLink sellers and buyers.
The initial panel members are:
Constructibles, SimplyBricks, Dcarmine, Calsbricks, Erkiles, Legoman77, Faro,
BrickCoast
During this first part, all panel members introduced themselves and it is clear
that this is a diverse, multitalented group that are all passionate about BrickLink.
No doubt that this select group will be a fantastic first Marketplace panel.
Ad 2. Marketplace panel program presentation
The structure of the program had been shared with the panel ahead of the meeting,
so in this session, we mainly dug into the basics of the program and collaboration
principles:
4 annual meetings with an opportunity to impact the future development of the
BrickLink Marketplace
Between the meetings we will collaborate through a Teams channel, making it possible
for us to engage outside the meetings as well.
We aim to increase the number of members in the panel to a max of 14 people throughout
the next 1-2 years.
We will invite new members to the Panel annually, to ensure fresh perspectives
by shifting 50% of the panel members with new members meeting above criteria.
We will be promoting the opportunity to sign up for the panel in Q1 2022.
In our collaboration, we will be looking to the future as opposed to the past.
We will be mindful of one another in the dialogues we have, remembering that
we are all in this with the best of intentions.
This panel is focused on the Marketplace specifically. There will be other initiatives
similar to this one, that focus on e.g. Studio, The Catalog, etc.
Ad 3. Workshop
This being the first Panel meeting, we felt a need to make sure we got the frustrations
out of every one’s system, in order to be able to focus on the future of BrickLink,
as opposed to being stuck in the past. This was done in a workshop where everyone
was able to share frustrations but also the things, they love about BrickLink.
Ad 4. BrickLink vision
Marvin Park shared thoughts related to the vision and mission of BrickLink as
a platform through which LEGO fans can also realize their dream designs. As for
the long-term roadmap, it was highlighted how BrickLink marketplace and Studio
can evolve to meet diverse needs of the AFOL community and become an integral
part of the entire LEGO ecosystem.
Ad 5. Marketplace plan 2021 & Prioritization discussion
BrickLink’s new Senior Product Manager Stephen Wilhelm presented the current
Marketplace roadmap. This roadmap is now mainly focused on development related
to VAT compliance rules (initiatives that we are bound to by law and that we
are not able to de-prioritize) and initiatives intended to support e.g., the
ability to lower response rate for new seller verifications, etc. There are several
user experience related initiatives the BrickLink Marketplace team plans to work
on, but we are looking to the Marketplace Panel members to help us prioritize
what enhancements would provide the most value.
Aside from above, several focus areas that we have picked up based on input from
the BrickLink members in general were presented with the intention to prioritize
them. We were not able to finish the prioritization discussions completely at
this meeting, but a couple of things were highlighted as being critical to prioritize:
Seller tools (e.g., Inventory management, store management, seller page updates)
Continue modernization of the BrickLink platform. This is already ongoing, but
we aim to apply more resources later this year.
A few less critical but still impactful areas were introduced:
Telephone support and the ability to have expert engagers to reach out to
Order Item Refund Request (OIRR) & Refund enhancement
Rewriting storefront pages to support mobile / native.
Provide BrickLink shipping methods (preferably one shipping cost per customer)
Overhaul/update payment processes
The above list varies greatly in level of complexity, and we will need to take
all input in to consideration in upcoming plans. Status on above and long-term
plans will be shared in minutes from the next Panel meeting.
A few other things we will be looking in to due to the input from the panel:
Ability for Sellers to make use of BrickLink’s access to Google Analytics.
On-site payment and why some sellers choose not to use this option.
Shipping price calculations based on zones instead of weight (US specific)
Ad 6. Next steps
It was decided to disclose the BrickLink panel members to the general BrickLink
membership base, this is not to be seen as an invitation to reach out to the
panel members directly with input for the Panel, but a way to be transparent
about who is in the panel as per the request of many members. Any ill manor
targeted directly at the Panel members may result in abandonment from BrickLink.
We need everyone’s input!
We have recently taken input from all BrickLink members in the survey, and we
take input regularly in the NPS survey, this input has already played a huge
part in shaping the focus for BrickLink in general and will be part of shaping
the future of BrickLink also.
During the upcoming Panel meetings, we might come across items to prioritize
that are not straight forward, in terms of defining what is best for the majority
of BrickLink members, in these cases, we will have a poll among the members in
general in order to ensure solid facts to back the decisions.
Upcoming meetings
The next meetings are planned for August and November.
Reflections
No doubt that we are blessed to have members on BrickLink that are prepared to
spend hours in their busy lives, participating in dialogue to make sure that
we have the best outside-in perspective we can when deciding how to prioritize
our efforts on BrickLink going forward. This is not something we have been able
to prioritize to the same extent in the past (hence numerous understandable frustrations),
but it is something that we are committed to prioritizing going forward!
BrickLink members, you can be proud of your Panel members, they did an amazing
job in representing you. Everyone spoke freely about critical issues to be addressed,
this is highly appreciated because then we won't have to waste time (mis)interpreting
this and we can get moving on the things that matter.
We hope that you will read this and share any feedback you might have, in this
topic or directly to ce_tanja. We have just started this journey and we are happy
to take your input to the process and adjust along the way.

These are from nearly all series so far including series 1 unopened and opened
Team GB.

me due to relocation.

| Having struggled to cope with long distance house hunting, now made an offer,
selling a property, under offer , crazy work conditions, caring, running a BL
store and changing jobs it's now evident that something has to give.
I've decided that my store will remain closed indefinitely, almost certainly
until 2022, anything outstanding will be shipped and one order on hold will be
invoiced and shipped when requested by buyer.
If I understand correctly, I have to be active in my store from time to time
to prevent my listings from being deleted, please advise if this is correct and/or
whatever else I need to do.
I'll still be active on the forum and may still purchase anything of interest
that may turn up.
Hope to add large number of items when I reopen.
Packing unlisted stock into moving boxes, can't believe how many I've
used and nowhere near finished.
Here's to a more settled 2022 and finally a less stressful job, cheers everyone.

So here, English grammar demands that we say "Fewer Filters."
I do think that correcting this error will enhance the site's professionalism.

| I organise my stock by colour, sub divided by categories for used, soon to do
the same with new, works for me.
Only manually add used stock and odd new items, most new by auto part out, reuse
larger boxes for shipping but I buy new large letter boxes in two sizes.
Had to add minimum order value due to far too many low value orders that I was
losing money on.
I add everything, who knows what might bring a buyer to my store.

Is it on bricklink?
The lot we found it in has some very old 60's bricks as well as some 70s
and 80s.
A 50*50 light gray baseplate is also included, glued on a wooden plate, exactly
matching this clip.

| Orders are always slow coming when you have the level of stock that you currently
have.
You will find that larger quantities of specific items and a greater range will
help, it does take time.
Not checked your prices as you don't currently ship to U.K. which doesn't
surprise me as you need to be comfortable supplying your home market first.
I found that when my stock reached certain counts the orders came much more readily.
