x1108 Duplo, Brick 2 x 6 x 2 with Curved Center

I am looking for the corresponding reference for these two DUPLO pieces. The
yellow one has the numbers 01 1. The red one 03 3. Both date from the 80's,
the yellow one is stamped 1980.

Hard to see in the pic, but it looks to be a mold of some type, which are multicellular,
filamentous fungi. Heads up, there is a pink mold looking bacteria that grows
on wood in moist conditions as well. But you already seem to be aware of being
careful about such things.

It is interesting, whatever it turns out to be. Thanks for sharing.

All nice marbled pieces, there are collectors for these, however the 2 x 4 3001/3001old
are those that are more valuable.

The blue 2x3 brick has a red / black pattern, so 3 color mix.
The black 1x1 brick has some blue on one face and a little inside.
The blue technic plate has some black inside and outside.

For this part, if it doesn’t have a logo on the solid stud then it’s a clone.

You can’t say this about many other early parts but this is one you can.

New photo 2, same fungus 3 hours later.

Almost as black as soot all over.

I’ve always been interested fungus, some amazing shapes, colours, textures and
smells.

Found some deadly ones in the past and am never tempted to eat any of them I
find, too dangerous .

Just my luck to choose a destroying angel.

However I have eaten wild field mushrooms picked for me, enjoyed those and tried
a young puffball of a good size, not a fan.

As a mushroom fan I would say don't eat it, not familiar with it but after

My feelings too but local and national authorities often think otherwise, they
usually want the most comprehensive and hence, most expensive option when they
aren’t paying.

Thanks for the offer, however I’m looking for advice on avoiding such work.

Trying to find out if I can avoid putting in soakaways for rainwater drainage
even though I cannot drain to septic tank system or public drains.

Let you know if that changes.

Some early Lego had those circles underneath but majority were clone brands.

The early Lego didn’t have a brick of those dimensions with those circles, my
bet is that it’s a clone, probably DDR origin.

before packaging for sale.
