I let germinate the seed of something I’ve enjoyed my entire life without ever
having considered it’s seed. Thanks to this year’s slow-to-start spring here
in Washington, I’ve taken to growing a few things indoors, including this
guy…

The contest is a three-part question: 1) The plant’s latin name? 2) Time in days,
it took to successfully germinate the seed before placing into soil? 3) The number
of days it took to grow into what you currently see, using only the weak ambient
(window) sunlight we have at this latitude? No grow-light use so far.

That’s three bits of information to enter with each posted entry.

Contest rules are simple:

~ One post per day per member, otherwise no limit to the number of entry-days.
~ Entry must be made as a reply to this contest post.
~ All three questions must be made in a single post.
~ First to correctly answer to all three questions in a single post, wins!

We’ll cover the shipping cost domestically (free shipping) All members are welcome
to participate though, if you can offer a US shipping address should you win.
For non US based members, any address within the US will do: a friend, family
member or fellow BL member is fine.

The contest moderator will be the all powerful, all knowing and all around good
guy known as Johan (jbroman) of Big Boy’s Bricks

I’ll soon send Johan the winning answers, he’ll determine and announce the winner.
Please direct any questions Johan's way, our contest moderator: https://www.bricklink.com/feedback.asp?u=jbroman

Not all seeds germinate. If interested in how I aided this seed to do so,
feel free to contact me via pm, after the contest has concluded

Have fun!

I think the problem here is that you've got to get three correct answers
all at once,

The first is now all too obvious but it's a complete guess on the other two.

I've made a couple of guesses myself.

My thoughts too.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with Avast so I don't know how to silence
this specific alert permanently. As a personal policy I don't trust third-party
antivirus software on Windows, Windows 10 already has Windows Defender that does
the same job, and layering antivirus software is never a good idea.

So my suggestion would be to uninstall Avast but it really is up to you.

  Thanks for the info.
Any idea what can be done about this, other than ignoring it everytime?

Now I have to wonder, how many buyers are getting this, and avoiding placing
orders here.

I need to pay more attention, the title is obviously "Blue"

/Jan

Blue is a velociraptor.

Please read Lead planters as subject.

I have two matching planters :

10" x 11.5" x 23"

Just thought I'd ask here if anyone has any experience in : buying, selling
or valuing real vintage lead planters ( not faux ).

These are extremely heavy and not sure I'll need them in Cornwall, hoping
to find someone who buys or deals in more than Lego.

Also have a large vintage farmhouse table that I might part with too, all would
be collection only.

I've really no idea what to ask for them and I'll probably have to sell
via eBay if I can't find a buyer myself, might advertise at work if I can
value them.

Checked online but didn't help much as I can't find anything similar.

I know it's unlikely that anyone can help but worth a try.

Thanks for any help.

Agree, this item is listed in Light yellow too, not bright light yellow.

  Good morning.
I bought one of those elemental chart of colors, but still can't identify
this shade of yellow.
In the picture I have Light Yellow at the top, and Bright (plain) Yellow at the
bottom and a couple tan pillars for reference.
It such a slight difference from the light yellow...

"Bright light yellow" and "light yellow" are two different colors; the pieces
you have circled look to be bright light yellow according to the chart you have.
The pieces you aren't sure of look to be just light yellow.
