I have a batch of incomplete minifigures. I need help identifying them to find
out what parts I need to complete them. I seem to remember there were a couple
of sites which had this information but I can't remember the names.

Can anyone help please?

Minifig No: sw0166 Name: Imperial Shadow Trooper
*
sw0166 Imperial Shadow Trooper
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Legends
Marked for Deletion
Interesting, more than ten years and almost nobody noticed it.

(OK I understand we can see them only from the front as they never retreat when
they attack so you can't see their back )

Interesting in our catalog torso is showed without long line.

Part No: 973pb0444c01 Name: Torso SW Armor Shadow Trooper Pattern / Black Arms / Black Hands
*
973pb0444c01 (Inv) Torso SW Armor Shadow Trooper Pattern / Black Arms / Black Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.
Marked for Deletion

According to the information which I found here
http://minifigs.nl/swminifigs/mfnl-shadow-ms.html
one with long line could be from magnet set from 2009.

Gear No: 852715 Name: Magnet Set, Minifigures SW (3) - Darth Vader, Snowtrooper, Shadow Trooper - with 2 x 4 Brick Bases blister pack
*
852715 (Inv) Magnet Set, Minifigures SW (3) - Darth Vader, Snowtrooper, Shadow Trooper - with 2 x 4 Brick Bases blister pack
Gear: Magnet: Star Wars

so from sets which were issued earlier 2007 and 2008 could be one with short
line
My with short line is from set

Set No: 7667 Name: Imperial Dropship
*
7667-1 (Inv) Imperial Dropship
65 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2008
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars Legends

I have also two in my collection with long line but bought them years ago loose
without sets.

I submitted both as new as in this case sw0166 should be marked for deletion
as we don't know which one is currently sell under this entry.

Minifig No: sw0166a Name: Imperial Shadow Trooper - Short Line on Back
*
sw0166a (Inv) Imperial Shadow Trooper - Short Line on Back
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Legends

Minifig No: sw0166b Name: Imperial Shadow Trooper - Long Line on Back
*
sw0166b (Inv) Imperial Shadow Trooper - Long Line on Back
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Legends

  Hello everyone,

Today I am very pleased to announce we have a new Catalog Associate! As you may
see from the Hall of Fame, StormChaser has previously held two catalog-type admin
positions - Inventories Admin and the legacy Catalog Admin - and has recently
returned to the site.

We're delighted he has decided to come back, and I know many of you missed
him as well. He has many ambitious plans for the catalog, and now that we have
more staff on board, it's looking as though we can start making some serious
headway.

So please join me in welcoming him. You can see his familiar profile in line
with the others here:

https://www.bricklink.com/memberAdmins.asp

StormChaser is also the first member to officially join our new Community Expert
Program. We hope to see the other catalog admins joining in the next day or two,
and the rest of our admins within the week.

as pdf.

The parts are completly orignial Lego, the 1x1 Tile with the NAM Logo is printed.

As far as I'm aware, yes. It is a bit annoying, but true.

Once the initial image is approved or discarded, then another image can be added.
However, I believe it is possible for multiple users to add multiple photos
for the same pending item.

Thanks for that, a bit odd, but not too big a deal.

I will just add the main photo for now and once the part is approved i will add
the other photo.

Great to have you back working on the Catalogue.

I just added 2 photos of a new part that i added to the catalogue, one a rendered
photo and the other showing the part from 2 angles. Now it only shows the second
photo i added and the other has disappeared.

Good to see the team at work is increasing with valued long-term experts in their

But...but...under "BrickLink Staff & Volunteer Administrators", it says that
StormChaser has only been a catalog admin for less than a day! Sheesh! A person
in such a responsible position should have more experience than say, 12 hours.

All jocularity aside, heartiest congratulations, ST.

more staff on board, it's looking as though we can start making some serious
headway.

So please join me in welcoming him. You can see his familiar profile in line
with the others here:

StormChaser is also the first member to officially join our new Community Expert
Program. We hope to see the other catalog admins joining in the next day or two,
and the rest of our admins within the week.

Good job, Russell, bringing such a valuable asset back into TLG/BL's embrace.

Should never have left the team, Robert, but I think it goes without saying

Fantastic! Does that mean that everyone is now in place and the inventory submission
backlog is next on the to-do list?

For now as we have more changes in discussion, can't we put the colours back

Then discuss with the Lego Company regarding changing all colours to their colours

Trust me, you don't want this. Lego colors don't match up with BrickLink
colors one-to-one; BrickLink has consolidated several colors to make it sensible
for buyers and sellers. Do you really want to have to separate your Cool Silver
parts from your Silver (pearl light gray)? Or call chrome silver and metallic
silver both Silver Ink?

oh man, that picture gives me a migraine.

I'll learn all this "new" stuff because I have to, but I really would rather
not.

You sound like at this point you're willing to give up BrickLink's independence
for the opportunity to be ruled by the LEGO Group.

And yet in another message you don't seem to be fond of the idea of losing
BrickLink's ability to make independent decisions:

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1167399

As for what they would say, the new color names are mostly TLG's own. What
do you think they're going to say?

As for

What they say will be correct !!

Do you genuinely believe that TLG is incapable of making mistakes? Are we to
now believe that every word they say is gospel and not to be questioned?

Look, I understand disagreeing with decisions. And clearly you disagree with
this decision. But I encourage you to retain your rationality.

I'd rather give up my independence to Lego than to you.

There are two aspects to be considered in this color business: 1) useful and
meaningful choice of color names, and 2) consistency between different platforms
(which makes life easier for everybody, buyers and sellers).

I do not care as much for 1) as I do care for 2). The recent change has removed
some discrepancies between Lego.com and BL, but I am not sure what other platforms
will be doing. One should simply settle for any standard naming set (and I seriously
do not care which one it is) and then use it consistently on all platforms.

For obvious reasons TLG will not change their current color names. We are talking
about a company which operates on a global level and has production streams that
are distributed all over the world. Just think what happens if some color names
are suddenly changed to any of these production streams. This is simply impossible.

It is important to face realities and think about what would be the best for
the majority of BL users (sellers and buyers alike) in the long term. BL is not
some backyard garage run website project any more, but part of a globally operating
company.

As someone nicely stated it already: TLG is the manufacturer and they decide
how their product is called as long as they can sell it.

It is hard for me to imagine that Lego would say, "No, don't use our color
names. Those are for us. You should use those others."

Russell is a LEGO employee now, so would you like him to talk to himself?

Kidding aside, who exactly would you like him to discuss it with? BL reports
in under Julia, and Julia has been deferring to Russell on community-specific
decisions. The AFOLET also falls under Julia, but they are AFOL experts, not
BL historians. There isn't a single person establishing the vision for the
future (which is a whole different discussion topic).

I'm supportive of this change because its logical. I don't think BL
should change all names to match (imagine the chaos of green vs dark green).
I like the suggestion that TLG start using the more logical BL color names,
at least informally.

Not sure the kind of information you're looking for but there is a listing
for Lumiere on another site which shows images of the build, the parts list and
instructions.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Disney-Princess-Beauty-The-Beast-Lumiere-Toys-R-Us-Exclusive-Promo-Set/254356046068?hash=item3b38cd40f4:g:iA4AAOSw985deEs3

There's a Briset entry for it:

https://brickset.com/sets/TRULUMIERE-1/Lumiere

There's a YouTube video for Cogsworth which shows the instructions, parts
list and build too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2OFyGmXcAg

There's a Brickset entry for it too:

https://brickset.com/sets/TRUCOGSWORTH-1/Cogsworth

Hope some of this is what you're looking for!

Seems fine now. Might have been a first-time thing finding the server or something.
No issues subsequent to that initial load. I'd guess nothing to worry about.

FIXED: Search for Black Torso, Blue Arms, no hand color selected. Returns zero
results. (I got 9 results, but it seems to be correct)

Confirmed.

FIXED: At narrow screen widths the wrap is malformed or something

It's better than it was.

  - Wish the search functionality was available in same window as bricklink (Need
clarification/user story etc)

1. I think I know what pitz wants; I'll PM you a demo. But I'm 99.9%
sure the addition of the cookie business on BL's end broke that functionality.

2. I don't know how you'd implement it if you could get it to work, given
your interface uses the entire window. You'd have to make the buttons and
search fields very small to accommodate the iframe to hold the BL window. And
it would be impractical on a mobile device no matter what.

Thank you very much for your feedback I've fixed most of it Here's
the current status:

pitz8008:
The way goatleg used to do this is not possible anymore due to security fixes
on bricklink. I have some ideas how to make similar solution, but I need to know
how you want to use it. What is the purpose of searching, what is your next step?
List the part in your inventory?

FIXED: Search for Yellow Head, Any Stud Type, keyword: scar. Returns zero results.

FIXED: It appears that for any search all dropdown options must have an active

just blue arms.
