you sure about that? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=28870
and https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/replacementparts/sale shows that the part
doesnt exist in black but only in Dark Blue, Trans-Dark Blue, Trans-Light Blue,
Trans-Neon Green, Trans-Orange and Pearl Gold????

It just hasn't been added to Bricks & Pieces yet. 6286835 is indeed 28870
in black. It comes in the new Bookshop set.

I see but the bookstore isnt parted out on BL yet so op has to wait for that
(sadly BL is the worst side speed wise when it comes to adding inventories...)

Maybe it will be better if TLG uses its own admins.

Our current admins are in the process of becoming the LEGO Group's own admins.

OMG

I would advise to you make no further comments about our BrickLink admins. You
are in danger of losing your posting privileges for a very long time.

If you were tasked with identifying a reason for this, keeping in mind the source
of BrickLink inventories, from where would you discover that the problem originates?

That is because BrickLink inventories are based on sealed set contents, and they
have features that other systems do not have, such as complete minifig and minifig
part data, stickers, counterparts, and extras. This is the reason that sellers
prefer to part out using BrickLink inventories, even if it means they have to
wait a while.

Hi,

maybe it will sound strange but after a long, long break I've returned to
my youth craze and bought the Lego Taj MahaL.
Now it really matters to me to build by the instructions, means I want the build
to be 100% as intended. While I still haven't finished the build, I have
6 extra 1X1 transparent plate (3024). I've looked at the extra's inventory
on this site and damn it. I haven't seen those 6 extra parts listed

Now it drives me crazy, I retraced my steps but I haven't noticed that I
missed something. How that could be? is there a possibility the inventory list
on this site isn't right?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have two Questions about the Inventory of the set 7730.
1. There are different Inventory-List in the Internet. Was there really a Cable
inside the box? Light Gray Electric, Wire 12V / 4.5V with four 1-prong connectors,
96 Studs Long

2. At the alternative Items there are 31 Light Gray Train, Track 12V Conducting
Rail Curved
But must it nor be 15?

Thanks for the Answers

Is there anybody, who haves a picture of the Box Backside and Inside?

At the moment the part "4.5V Whistle Thin with Yellow Base" is not connected
to a single set in the bricklink catalog.

I now found this whistle for the second time in a set 138 that consists out of
the original parts.

This whistle produces a low pitched tone that is technically not compatible with
the electronic control block of set 118. For that reason I think it is safe
to say that the "4.5V Whistle thin with Yellow Base" Belongs to set 138.

Now please don't ask for proof with a sealed set. A sealed set 138 is a very
rare thing on its own. A sealed set 138 with this rare whistle in it might be
non existent

Via check-box option, It would be very handy to be able to restrict part searches
to just those sellers included in your favourite list, and separately to this,
those sellers you have open carts with.

This would be useful when adding to existing open orders (to save on shipping
or small batch orders) - If I know I'm already going to be placing orders
with Sellers A, B, C, & F, and I realise I need some more of a particular part,
being able to see which of those sellers have that part and what they're
chargning for it, is useful since I don't need to go back out to the wider
market (and shipping cost), AND I don't need to go to each open seller's
Store to search on them individually. One search does the trick.

Here you can Sort your Favourite sellers on top:

Yes there seem to be quite a lot of inconsistencies with the colour Pearl Gold
but also the standard yellow colour atleast when I look at my yellow minifig
hands and heads they can vary from a light yellow to more of a warm yellow
