This mask is actually a LEGO color known as "Red Flip/Flop" and was only used
for the two Bionicle masks shown in

The LEGO color "Red Flip/Flop" does not have a specific color on BrickLink and
is lumped under "Copper" since there is no other color close to it.

I'm sure that is copper. If you look at the "known colors" for that part
the only one that is even close is copper. I'm sure it's just a different
batch or age.

When I said "over time", I meant that LEGO periodically changes their colours
slightly, not that the part has discoloured. (One example of colour-change-over-time
is Pearl Gold, with older elements tending to be lighter and newer ones tending
to be darker - But all variations still considered "Pearl Gold").
This part is Copper, but 2001 Copper is darker than 2019 (or 2006) Copper.

The set in which this part appears (bilmasks-1) was released in 2001, while the
Exo-Force robots were first released in 2006. Colours (particularly Pearl-type)
tend to change somewhat over time, and the description for set (bilmasks-1) specifies
that the colour is dark Copper:

XML is not a file type, it just refers to a way to structure data in plain text.
It only means that item data is placed in between tags with pointy brackets.
A file in XML formatting can have any kind of extension: txt, xls, html, ...
If you need another extension, you can just rename the file. If that doesn't
work, then probably you need something else than an XML formatted file. What
do you need it for?

My set actually contains the old style (B) treasure chest with no back slots and thin hinge. Confirmed by actual inventory and product photos on box/instructions. (Are there alternate versions?)

Hi,
I am very sure that this set came with the "a" variant for two reasons:
1. Set 6273 was produced between 1991 and 1993. Set 6260 was produced between
1989 and 1991 and that set already had the "a" variant (link below).
2. A few years ago, the user 1977_mauro changed the inventory of 6273 and many
other old sets based on sealed set contents (he added extra parts or string lenghts,
for example). As we can see, he has not changed the treasure chest in the inventory
of set 6273 but he has changed it in other inventories. I am sure he would have
also changed it here if he had found the "b" type in his copy.
All in all, the "a" type should stay here but the "b" type can be added as an
alternate if you confirm that you have found it in a sealed set.

These pics are on eurobricks. Look at the vampire torso, very similar to Lord
Vampyre's but a different colour waistcoat and tie. So a BAM exclusive that
will probably be confused with an existing one.
The spiderwoman - look at the large spider print, it used to be located lower
and was printed across the torso and dress. So that's another two parts very
similar to existing ones from sets but exclusive to BAM.

As for there is no source (instruction or images) that shows that stickers should be applied on both sided of this par. There are two the same stickers on the sticker sheet but I didn't found any evidence of that.

Thanks for the information, Jonas.
When I was looking at sets that were built from sealed set contents on brickshelf
for set 7905, *none* of the strings looked particularly thick to me in any of
the photos, either. One of them showed the cardboard sleeve was the exact same
one we are discussing. I have a strong feeling the inventory for 7905 is wrong.
Also, the image for
looks like thin string to me.
I wonder if there even is a 200cm string in medium thickness...
Definitely thin string in that set, also. See attached image.
I don't know what is going on with the rest of the inventories, but your
photo and all of the information I have pieced together is enough to not change
the inventory of this cardboard sleeve.

I believe you, but why was your image of the box on
before we removed it? Had you submitted it under the wrong entry or did someone
else have your photo and upload it? Just trying to figure this out.

These requests will not be accepted.
This set was inventoried from "Sealed Set Contents" and confirmed from "Sealed
Set Contents". The set image also shows these parts and the LEGO replacements
parts site has all of these listed in the set. Due to all of this, I find it
highly unlikely that they were not included in the set.

These requests will not be accepted.
The stickers in the set you are trying to add these parts to do not match the
stickers on the parts you are trying to add. They are completely different colors,
even though the pattern is similar. You will need to add the new stickered parts
to the BrickLink catalog before they can be added to the set.

too long and I have memorized some things that were hard before.
It could definitely be improved.

| You got my vote for what it worth, WL should have had this feature right at the
beginning, it's just ridiculous because it makes WL a huge waste of time
to do the job the tool (=the BL website) should do in the first place.

Sorry but they won't be approved without images. General rule is that almost
(because there are some exeptions of course) every item to be approved need to
have image.
Exeptions are:
1) torso for torso assembly - because when you have torso assembly submitted
with image you know how the torso without arms and hands looks like as the print
is the same as in the main torso assembly entry,
2) stickers sheet but only when correct information is submitted in description
so it have to be design id number printed on stickers sheet entered to describtion
by submitter (without it and without image stickers sheets won't be approved),
3) carboard sleevs as they looks the same they just differ by number printed
on it and this number is in description and part number.
From help page (Adding images https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=87):
"Item and image submissions are accomplished separately on different pages. You
do not need to wait for a submitted item to be approved and in the catalog before
you submit images for it. You do not need to be the item's submitter.
The item must simply have been submitted before any image upload is possible.
We encourage image submission to follow as soon as possible after item submission
because an image can help catalog administrators evaluate the item submission.
For more information on item submission, see Adding Items."
So always can sombody elese add images to pending items which are without it.
We wait a month after that period items without images are deleted from pending.

I recommend Rebrickable for those Things. you can upload the "missing parts list"
to Bricklink at the end.

| I have added the contents of 49595, a-g, for catalog submission but do not have
images since BL requires minimum sizes and I only have smaller images which I
could not upload.
I am asking that the items be allowed to be added without the photo or allow
the smaller image as having a photo does not seem to be a prerequisite considering
the vast number of empty cape boxes that are being added without photos.

However, this set came with four rubber bands *at all times* and is corroborated by the official part count on the box (cont. 34 pcs/pzs). According to the BrickLink inventory guidelines, these rubber bands are therefore considered Regular Items.

I need to send attachment a lot of the times (for condition of items) which is
cumbersome if I need to swith messaging channel for that reason.

by BL or not. I want to use a single channel of communication.
So... basically my suggestion would be two-fold
a) Enable sending attachments (or images)
b) Don't send the message in email, but instead send an email notification
there is a message, without the actual message in the mail. It will avoid people
hitting the reply-button in their mail client.
